No cable but tv adequate. Stayed in older park in monticello - that one had cable but units were almost touching slides. This park is open and very easy to stay in with large Rv. I'm happy I moved, although the people were ok at other park

We have stayed here before, and it is still good as ever. Very clean, nice wide, smooth gravel roads, good people. The park is on a gentle hillside, but the sites are pretty level. Most of the pull-troughs are "buddy sites" where 2 sites next to each other face opposite directions, with doors facing each other. They are not real wide, but there is room for slides without a problem. Verizon cell and internet worked here. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, clean RV park that we used as a base camp for exploring Native American ruin sites. The staff was very helpful with directions, etc. Many of the sites are on the "buddy" system meaning that the pull throughs faced each other and had utilities grouped together. This made for a nice, large outdoor living space on the door side of the RV but it also put the drivers sides very close together. All the hookups worked fine and Verizon signal was good. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

As with the southern Utah RV parks we have recently stayed in on this trip, the park was a lot busier in October than it was in 2012. Still, we were able to get a FHU, pull through site that was satellite friendly (good because there is no cable TV). Even with a fairly full park, the Wi-Fi was good enough for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. This is basic park that is very well kept with good facilities. The bathrooms were clean and adequate for this size park. There are no recreational amenities. Typical of this region, I saw no recycling. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here in 2013 that we are back. The campground is clean and neat. We had a back-in site in the back row so had a great view out over the Comb. There a are quite a few pull-through sites some with trees and grass up front. A beautiful gift store in the office. Our site had a picnic table. There is so much to do in this area. Hiking the Mule Canyons, Kane Gulch, seeing all the ruins and petroglyphs in the area, Natural Bridges, the Fort Museum in Bluff, Valley of the Gods, Goosenecks, Moki Dugway, Muley Point or you can drive further afield and get up to Canyonlands and Newspaper Rock. Drive the Comb with its wealth of ruins and petroglyphs. Your car will get dirty here. But that's the point. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great little park - not close to much, but in the middle if you're heading N (Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, town of Moab) or SW (Natural Bridges National Monument, Monument Valley). No cable TV, but abundance of digital local TV stations (plus a nearby Redbox at the grocery store). Owners were great with us, finding accommodations when we arrived a day early, and giving us a refund when we bugged out a day early (due to upcoming weather). Maintenance personnel were always out tidying up the park. Office store didn't have much in the way of RV supplies or food, focusing instead on Indian arts and crafts. If in the area, we'd stay here again. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cheapest place for gas (20¢ a gal less) is White Mesa Travel Center, which is about 10 miles S of Blanding. Patio Drive Inn is a great place for lunch (and their milkshakes are to die for). If driving from Natural Bridges to Monument Valley >in your toad<, you HAVE to take Utah 261! You're driving along for miles and suddenly you're at the edge of a huge bluff, with a narrow, gravel switchback road taking you down to the valley below. Absolutely amazing!

This is a well located, very nice, basic campground. The upper spots have grass, while the lower ones are all gravel. The upper spot pull thrus are paired, so that you are on top of your neighbor, yet you have your own grassy area on the other side and it still feels private. The owners keep the campground in terrific condition, well graded, clean, and landscaped. It has very good dog walking areas. Although it is right on UT 191, there was minimal truck noise. The owner is very helpful, providing us with recommendations and maps. We stayed an extra night and would definitely return. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice RV Park. Nice, long pull-thru sites and back-ins. Trees in some pull-thru sites. Quiet at night even tho it is on a main road. Laundry is very clean, and they have a wonderful Trading Post with loads of items like rugs, pottery, and jewelry. Very nice staff. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect stop for seeing Natural Bridges, Monument Valley, Canyonland, Newspaper Rock, and Bears Ears National Monument. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clark's Grocery is great - all the necessary items are available and a deli and bakery. Other than that, Blanding is bland! Not much here. A bank or two and some businesses. RV Park was great and in a good location. Lots of stars at night.

Stayed at Blue Mountain for a month as a hub for Utah beauty in all directions. Natural Bridges National Monument, Moki Dugway, Monument Valley, Arches, Canyonlands, Moab, & Cortez, Co. are all daily adventures nearby. Owner and staff work tirelessly from sunrise to sunset, to maintain a well-kept park. All the personnel are friendly, and willing to give you information about the area. As well, Blanding has a visitors center with a full range of maps & information. The only drawbacks to our monthly stay in Blanding were limited dining options, as well as a solo grocery store. We enjoyed the peacefulness of Blue Mountain, and will be looking forward to returning one day! We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Southwest visit Natural Bridges National Monument, Moki Dugway, Monument Valley, & scenic drive to Hanksville. Go north to Moab, Arches, & Canyonlands. Go east to visit Cortez, Colorado. The steakhouse in town has a great salad bar!

This is a very nice park, fairly new, with very easy pull-through sites and big rig friendly. We had a site with grass, shade trees, picnic table, fire pit and a long sidewalk to step out on. The driveways are gravel. There is a lot of new landscaping and attention is paid to making the park neat clean and attractive. Trash was close by and there is a nice pet walk area. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, pointing out local attractions and services. The office has a very nice gift shop. Out site was very level and utilities were well placed and in excellent working condition. Parking was side by side with shared utilities but on each "front door side of the vehicles" there was grass and trees. The lower area of the park does not have grass. Our spot did not feel at all crowded. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had reservation for June 21/23 but found out the place we were staying at in williams was horrible we called and asked if we could possibly stay for June 19 and 20th .The manager was so accommodating he went out of his way to make us feel welcome he even did some rearranging so we could get our original site for the full 5 days..we are very happy with the clean bathroom and free showers he put us by some really nice shade trees I'd definitely recommend this place...great service. This campground also includes a Trading Post & gift shop. It was a perfect Home Base campground to visit National Parks. A very clean & friendly park. We were here in late May. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, rainy, snowy, and cold so we could not really take advantage of the nice site we had. We were in the front side of the campground that had grass. The sites are set up so you face your neighbors front door so all the hookups, especially the sewer, are not near your sitting area. A really nice feature. The check in was easy but not very friendly. There was work going on every day we were there to keep the park neat. WiFi worked well for us but did cut on and off frequently. OTA channels were plentiful. Close to town but not much there. We would definitely recommend staying at this park. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We went to Natural Bridges NM and hiked one of the loops down to the canyon base. Well worth the views but beware of the climb in and out which were tough. Plus you have to make your way back to the parking area you left your car in.

Park is just south of town, easy access for any supplies. Clean, level, with beautiful views. Great access to all the local destinations, indian ruins, Hovenweep, Edge of Cedars is a great museum in town. Very friendly hosts, ready with much information on places to visit. Wifi was nearly non-existant, could not connect to the internet: frustrating when trying to plan our days. Verizon service was very good. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This a very clean and orderly park with basic hookups in a town with little to offer, especially when it comes to restaurants. We came to see Bears Ears National Monument and this is one town, but not the only one, with easy access to the Monument. Wifi worked much of the time, though would die on occasion. Water pressure was low. No cable, but a repeater got us SLC channels including a lot of PBS and some cool PBS subchannels. The family that owns it also owns a motel in town and a trading post, motel, restaurant and probably a few other things down the road in Bluff. They are nice people and good at business. We were in the back with good views to the west (including the Bear's Ears), but would have preferred other larger sites if we had been given the option. Just ask about other options, something we didn't think of. A fine place to stay so long as you want to eat every meal in your RV or just need a stop overnight. No picnic tables, fire rings and little grass. Some older trees and a lot of freshly planted ones (will have great shade in 5 or 10 years). it looks like they are constantly improving the place. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a visitor center with some information on the north end of town. On the south side are a few RV spaces. We couldn't find restaurant with breakfast on a Saturday and went to Bluff, 20+ miles south where there are several excellent to decent restaurants. The state park in town has a very good museum and a below average Anasazi ruin.
