We stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone. I actually found this park in the Big Rigs book. It is a small park and it appears to have many full-time residents. However, the residents are all situated in the back couple of rows. We have a 45' MH pulling a Ram truck. We did have to un-hook to get into our site but the site was long enough for the coach and our truck. We had site # 2 which was a great site at the end so in the morning we hooked up in the site and pulled straight out. The park seemed in need of some TLC but the manager told us that they had a bad winter and had a lot of rain so it had been difficult to spruce up the park. There are some trees in the park but they were not a problem for the coach and getting directv. There is a gas station right next door with a few truck lanes and a Walmart across the street. This was a convenient place to stay and I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Repeat visit, small park so knew to call ahead as it was late in the afternoon by the time we decided where to stay; owner stayed late so we could get our propane tank filled. Nicely landscaped, spring flowers in bloom, a welcome sight for winter desert dwellers. Bathroom doors a bit tricky to open, but nice and clean. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Stayed here two nights to take in the Golden Spike Monument and the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Won't stay here again due to the noise from the highway to the rear which was very bad. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal-mart across the street as well as several fast food restaurants. Just be aware that there is an intersection for the highway close by and you will hear every loud car, motorcycle and truck stopping or starting from the light 24/7.

This was our third stay at this park and there have been some changes since our last stay. Many of the trees have been cut down. This may account for the increased level of road noise from the adjoining road. Otherwise, not much has changed. Due to the road noise, we may look elsewhere next time. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Second time in 2 years I have stayed here. First time was better. The turns required to get into the tight spots, plus the road noise make me want to find somewhere else to stay. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great little park, spaces are tight and roads are narrow. Owners were friendly and helpful. Shopping (Wal*mart, sonics and gas) is close by. Lots of traffic noise. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park was a nice find. It is convenient to necessities, easy to get to from the highway, was meticulously clean. The spots were a little close for my tastes but there was still room to move between sites. The sites were concrete pads with nice grass and picnic table. Owners were a little fanatic about anything on the grass but I guess they have to be to keep it as nice as it was. Crews were out edging in the afternoon to keep things looking nice. Laundry facility was clean and reasonably priced. All services worked well and amenities were as promised. All in all it was a nice place. The reason I only gave it a 7 is because of the road and railroad noise. It was a bit much. I slept with earplugs to be able to sleep. Otherwise I couldn't really say anything bad about it. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a tough park to rate. We recognize that the owner takes great pride in the park so we give it 4 stars for cleanliness. But the park is very tight. This makes big rig maneuverability difficult. The sites are close together with strips of grass in between. So to even get into the front door of our rig, we had to walk in wet grass (site was so narrow, there was not even a strip of gravel to put our welcome mat out and it was made clear to us at check in to put NOTHING on the grass). We were also told to park our car in the street if our site was too short. Management was a bit rude. LOTS OF BARKING DOGS! The whole experience was just too big of a hassle for a one-night passing through. Park might work well for others, but we would not stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

After reading so many glowing reviews of this park, we decided to give it a try, since it was in the area we wanted to stop for that day. Made a reservation the day ahead by phone, glad we did, as we were told there was only one site available. Very friendly staff, and the facilities are clean, as mentioned. Sewer connection located at the halfway point of the site; needed to use both our hoses to reach it. Connection is located just above grade & works well. However, sites are very tight (much more so than we like) and the road noise was bad - not so much from the interstate, but trucks went by on the local roads all night long. Not the campground's fault, but there was also road construction going on all night, right outside the campground!! Needless to say, our sleep quality was pretty poor. Conveniently located for access to town and sightseeing in the area, but definitely for us not a campground to hang around in. Makes an ok overnighter. Nice to have a gas station right next door - handy for gassing up for the next day's travel. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park was beautiful but it's extremely hard to find, even with a big sign off the main road. It's a left-turn and then an even tighter left-turn on to the actual street to the entrance. Then another tight left to get into the drive. Spaces are close together so careful maneuvering is required, especially with a tow. When we left the park we had to pull out onto a residential street to load the car back on the tow. Our MH is 45' long and they say "big rig friendly" but we wouldn't stay there again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

After reading previous reviews about this park, we were extremely disappointed. Do not plan to stay here if you are claustrophobic as sites are very close, both side by side and front to back rows, reminding me of an rv sales lot. As previously noted, there is quite a bit of highway noise. On the positive side, the utilities function correctly, including park wi-fi. Sites are level, park is clean. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very good location. Close to I-15 right across the street from Wal-Mart.
This is an older park and is somewhat tight if you are in a larger rig. Spaces are close to each other but given the location we would stay here again for an over nighter. There are three rows with the row closest to Hwy 91 reserved for permanent residences. Our picnic table was plastic and the table top was warped and split. They can do better. Try the Old Grist Mill bakery within walking distance for good sandwichs. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful older park just a couple of miles from I-15 and off Hwy 91. Because of it's age the interior roads are fairly narrow. While the spacing between our site (#1) and the next was very tight, the rest of the spacing on the front row (sites 2-11) appeared to be much wider. There is grass between each site and several shade trees. If you park on the first row and the RV on the second row has moved as far forward as they can, you may have a bit of a trouble making the turn into your site. We're 45' and the coach behind us was as far forward as he could be, so the turn in around the trees was tight. We actually had to disconnect the Jeep so I could move forward and back to get centered and aligned in the site. However, the great trees are certainly worth the maneuvering required. The area between the first row and the street is "park-like" with much green grass and many shade trees. Walmart and a variety of restaurants and stores are in close proximity to the park. There is a Pilot truck stop just across I-15 which is easily accessed. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.
