Have used this park before overnighting while traveling. All pull thru sites. Nice owners who go out of their way. We pulled in and found the cable tv was not working right. I had also noted a leak from my hot water tank area. Owner came over to fix cable issue and noted the leak. Found the pressure relief had failed, spring not working. He told me he had one in the office and replaced it on the spot. Cost $16 for the part, no cost for the labor. The park has a good deal of road noise but the value of these owners will keep me coming back. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park with a great view of the nearby hills. The paved roads are very very tight, and it would be hard to pull out unless you're parked in the first row and can pull onto the grass. The sites are level (some with new gravel) but are so close together we couldn't put out our awning without touching the rig next to us. There is no landscaping other than the grass between sites and a few trees. There is a small park area for walking the dogs and a playground for kids. Maintenance was OK. The bathrooms/showers were basic but clean. Our Dish satellite and Verizon Mifi worked fine...they offer cable but we didn't try it. Their free Wifi was fine. We had some noise from the highway & a lot of noise from the trains..even earplugs didn't do the job for the trains. We would only stay here again for 1 night. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a one night stop over for us and we really enjoyed this campground. Wifi was a bit slow but better than most campgrounds. Very quiet and comfortable! We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy to get to off of the highway. Street sign for the RV park says it is on Georgia St. Interior roads are paved and narrow. Pulling in/out of sites with long rigs requires cutting the corner. Sites are pretty close with grass between. Most sites will accommodate satellite reception. Utilities worked well and are all midway up the site. Wifi was strong except in the evening/night. Strong Verizon signal. Laundry price is good. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very small campground with tight sites. All hookups, WiFi, and cable worked well. Looked like quite a few full time people in campground. Roads were narrow and you had to be very careful to position your camper perfectly so you wouldn't block the road and still have room for your town vehicle. Great location for Brigham City visit. We would stay again for a short visit. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First Impression: At the edge of a nice residential community. I see manicured grass, asphalt roads, and flower pots. Very inviting. Safety: No concerns. Access: Exit 362 from I-84, go east on US-91 to the traffic light (Walmart on your right), turn left, turn left again (small, faint sign on pole). Access road in good condition, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Friendly staff, welcoming Camp Dog (Lucy), nice store with snacks, food items, and RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations not available. Good Sam discount. Facilities: No pool, spa, fitness room or rec center. Large, clean laundry room. Restrooms modern and clean, slightly tiny showers in private rooms w/sinks (score "A"). Propane sales. Single swing set but no playground. No off-leash dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are narrow, asphalt in excellent condition with negotiable turns and no overhead obstacles. Big rig and coach friendly. Prevosts with toads, however, might have maneuvering problems. Tent area (next to the busy highway) but no yurts or cabins. Sites are close, level, gravel (a few are concrete), all pull-through, nice grass between. Utilities at mid-rig with FHU-20/30/50; metered for monthly. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 3" threaded, about 2-3" above ground level. No patios. "Half-size" picnic tables usable but need paint. Open fires and charcoal grills not permitted. Poor satellite views (tall, mature trees). Pedestals have cable connection but not tested. Free Wi-Fi with good coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 4 bars. Aluminum recycle bin, only. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, or interstate noise, but local traffic volume is notable. Bug Report (mid August): no insects noted. Runners: CG roads excellent for running. Yoga: grass area should be good for your mat. Conclusion: Score 7-Good. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Roads were narrow and sites were ok. Areas to walk you dog at front and back of park. Between the park and the gas station is an open field you can let your dog run but it is not fenced. Ask in the office about the fenced off leash park in town next to a Vet Clinic. WiFi was ok. Verizon services were very good. Lots of road noise from the highway behind the park. Train noise every once in a while. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for three nights as a mid-point to Yellowstone. We were in site #2. Asphalt lanes are a little narrow, but manageable. Sites are packed gravel & just long enough for our 42 ft. + tow. Sites are a bit close with grass between. Park is well maintained. They do allow washing your coach/tow. A few restaurants in the area and there is a Walmart across highway. Utilities were good. AT&T signal was good. WiFi, as is usually the case, was sketchy. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Across the interstate on the west side is the Bear River Migratory Refuge if you are a "birder". There is a 12 mile loop on a one-way gravel road around a huge marsh reservoir & one can see a lot of different species. My wife is a birder & was able to see quite a few "life birds" to add to her list. If you are there in the spring, there is said to be thousands of birds.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone. I actually found this park in the Big Rigs book. It is a small park and it appears to have many full-time residents. However, the residents are all situated in the back couple of rows. We have a 45' MH pulling a Ram truck. We did have to un-hook to get into our site but the site was long enough for the coach and our truck. We had site # 2 which was a great site at the end so in the morning we hooked up in the site and pulled straight out. The park seemed in need of some TLC but the manager told us that they had a bad winter and had a lot of rain so it had been difficult to spruce up the park. There are some trees in the park but they were not a problem for the coach and getting directv. There is a gas station right next door with a few truck lanes and a Walmart across the street. This was a convenient place to stay and I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Repeat visit, small park so knew to call ahead as it was late in the afternoon by the time we decided where to stay; owner stayed late so we could get our propane tank filled. Nicely landscaped, spring flowers in bloom, a welcome sight for winter desert dwellers. Bathroom doors a bit tricky to open, but nice and clean. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here everytime we go to Oregon on this route. Nice and clean, spots are long enough to keep your toad hooked if you choose to. We went thru this time after some real heavy rains and the park was quite wet but the pull thru spot had no mud at all. Easy on and off. Great little park for a couple nights stay. Wal-mart across the street as well as several fast food restaurants. Just be aware that there is an intersection for the highway close by and you will hear every loud car, motorcycle and truck stopping or starting from the light 24/7.

This was our third stay at this park and there have been some changes since our last stay. Many of the trees have been cut down. This may account for the increased level of road noise from the adjoining road. Otherwise, not much has changed. Due to the road noise, we may look elsewhere next time. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
