Overall Rating:

Huge RV park which is part of a huge tourist complex. We camped in the back, adjacent to the trees and enjoyed a relatively empty park this late in the season. Sites are spacious and easy to maneuver into. Some have sloped entry making the area to level shorter than the advertised length. Some have side slopes too. The park is sprawling. Some sites have trees, ours was wide open. The utilities are located on the gravel portion, not on the grass areas. I noted a few had been bumped by vehicles or RVs. The site also has square edged curbs and square corners. Not sure why the design wasn't at least rounded corners. Watch the tires! Interior roads were OK, bushed a few low branches on the exit. Wifi worked on my phone, not my iPad. Could be an issue on my end. It was adequate. Great cell service too. The complex has several places to eat, small bug well stocked grocery store. Gas and diesel across the street along with a self serve RV wash. ($1.70 per 4 min). The car wash was lousy. Free air for tires etc is available too. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Peek a boo trail from Bryce point is spectacular and avoids the crowd on the Navajo Loop. If the shuttles are not running, loop it with the Rim Trail and Queens Garden for a good 8 mile hike. Red Canyon is 20 mins to the west. Golden Wall trail is 5 miles with great elevation views. Has a short nature trail and a few other options. Good place to hike when Bryce is crowded.

We had a level, gravel, pull through, FHU site in the open area in the back of the park. It had cable TV and was satellite friendly. The bathrooms are completely inadequate for a park this size and were not clean while we were there. I saw no recycling. The convenience to Bryce Canyon NP is the only reason I rate the park as high as a 7. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed a week in this sprawling campground, in what appears to be a newer "premium" section in the back. The sites in back are huge, lots of space between sites, and each has a large, raised, cement-curbed patio area that is part crushed stone (with an embedded fire ring) and part grass with a picnic table. You can park truck or toad next to your RV. Roads are mix of paved and gravel, easy maneuverability for almost any size rig, and sites are crushed stone. Sites in the new area mostly level from side to side, but have a bit of slope to some of them front to back, which should only affect the biggest rigs. They had very good Wifi and cable TV, and Verizon signal was also good. Smooth and quick check-in. Camp store somewhat limited in terms of RV supplies.. Very nice, clean bathroom/shower facilities, with large number of private shower rooms. Getting forwarded mail delivery was a bit disorganized, perhaps due to employee turnover in Fall, as they have to go get it from local PO Box, and apparently this does not happen regularly. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Very large campground in the trees. but not all spots in the trees. Be sure to ask if you want shaded spot. Conveniently located to Canyon with free shuttle pickup from Campground. Sites are big with tables and fire ring. Restrooms and showers are clean and nice. Campsites towards back are less noisy. We would stay there again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Ruby General Store has everything you could want or need. Ebenezers Barn and Grill country dinner show was great and about a mile away. Take the shuttle to the canyon itself. Parking is limited and the shuttle is free and convenient.

Great location for visiting Bryce Canyon. Shuttle every 15 minutes into park right from campground. It was very cold and still quite busy in October. Shuttle is a good option with limited parking at turn outs. Cable is not available at all sites but we did get 2 air channels. Would recommend and would stay again. This is our 2nd visit to Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground. Ruby's is located just outside Bryce Canyon National Park and has been a preferred destination for park visitors for nearly 100 years. For us, the CG's proximity to Bryce's shuttle bus and paved bike path; its full-serviced sites and amenities (e.g., free-wifi, on-site laundry, on-site restaurant, etc.), offsets the CG's often closely spaced sites. Very high demand RV park; reservations suggested. Fees are high, but similar to fees charged by other full-service parks in the area. From mid-May thru mid-Sep, book a site several weeks in advance. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to stay if visiting Bryce Canyon; shuttle picks you up in front of park if you don't want to drive. Check in parking can be a challenge; people pull in and stop at all angles, blocking the road. The people working the desk are great and check-in process was easy. Park roads are in great shape but drive slow to keep from kicking up dust. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Kodachrome State Park, Zion National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument are all easy day trips. Closest big shopping centers are in Cedar City. If hiking remember you are at over 7,000 feet!

Rate includes an "End of Summer" discount. The site was pull-thru, gravel, level with FHU and 50 amp electric. The large pull-thru RV sites have been upgraded with grass areas and fire pit areas. There is lots of space between adjacent sites. We had good Verizon voice and data reception and good DishTV satellite reception. We enjoy this campground when visiting Bryce National Park. We would stay here again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the Premium full hookup site. The site was very long and wide. Many of the sites have good shade but ours didn't. Very large, busy campground mostly filled with rental motor homes. There is a buffet restaurant, pizza/burger restaurant, and a descent sized grocery and souvenir store. The only negative was the ATVs zipping through the campground. Very busy campground. Fully booked when we were there. Our site was long, but we were too close to our neighbors. Our awning covered the dumpsite facilities of our neighbours. Lots of quads racing around. Very good showers, restrooms and laundry facilities. Convenient and close to shuttle buses. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We did not stay at the campground proper, but rather the overflow area, so our review may differ in various aspects from those of campers who stayed at the main campground. Let us begin by saying how lucky we felt to get into Ruby's at all. We had reservations at another campground but it was such a poor experience that we moved after just an hour! The main campground was full for the 3 days we wanted to stay so we were so pleased to get a space at the overflow. In some ways, it was better than the regular campground! It is nestled among motel wings, closer to the laundromat, restaurant and store. The pool was a short walk away. Our site was level, near the lake, had full hook-ups, and a large grassy area on either side of us. We would not hesitate to stay here again. There was a free shuttle stop just outside of the camping area that took us into the park with stops at many of the most popular areas of the park. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The free Rainbow Shuttle is a Bryce Canyon 3 hour bus-tour of the park. It was great! Our driver gave us history, geology, and other information that was so interesting. Reservations are required. The restaurant at Ruby's Inn puts on a very good buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price.

A true RV resort with all kind of amenities! Shade at most sites and very convenient to Bryce Canyon. Once you arrive you will not have to leave town for entire stay. Grocery store, dining, shopping, ATV rentals, horseback riding and shuttle service. Power and water pressure are very good. Would highly recommend! $50 + tax = $56 for a 50amp full service pull-through site. This campground is located 1 mile from the entrance to Bryce Canyon Ntl Park, and the free shuttle into the park has a stop at the RV park entrance. The location could not be more convenient for visiting Bryce Canyon Ntl Park. There are 2 sections to this park - the old and new sections. The older section has more trees but sites are closer together. For a private RV park, the new section has HUGE sites (55' x 50') but few trees. Each site in the new area has an elevated green space (25'x50') with picnic table and ground level BBQ/fire pit. There is a large laundry room (wash= $2.25, dry=$1.50/30 min), a small camp store, and a swimming pool! Despite there being repeaters throughout the park, WiFi is slow. There is a small grocery store in Bryce Canyon City but it has very limited fresh produce and meat (basically just hamburgers & hot dogs). There is a small grocery store in Tropic about 10 miles away. If coming from the south, Honey's Marketplace in Kanab is a good sized grocery store. Diesel is ridiculously overpriced in the Bryce Canyon area, with the lowest price being at a Phillips 66 in Long Valley Junction, 40 miles S of Bryce Canyon on #89. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an excellent park for visiting Bryce Canyon National Park! The free shuttle picks up here and takes you into the park. We stayed in the big rig sites and they are huge. Lots of room and perfect grass! They were also great at accommodating us adding a night to our stay and even worked it out where we wouldn't have to move sites while here. The down side is Ruby's restaurants and groceries are really overpriced for what you get. I'd bring everything you need with you because the grocery options in this area are expensive.
