We stayed here in October, 2012. That review is still pretty much on point for describing the park. We again had a FHU, pull through site in the back of the park that was open for satellite TV reception. The cable TV was OK and the Wi-Fi was good enough for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

I'm glad you decided to come back and stay with us again. We have finished landscaping the Big Rig sites and they are all ready for new guests next spring. These sites are huge and feature mature trees and nice landscaping with picnic tables and fire pits. The cable TV is full HD and we also have very good Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was updated and improved this year and is better than ever. Thanks again for staying with us!

We loved this park. It's a large, well-managed and clean campground. The grounds are beautiful with large pine trees and open spaces to walk the dog. Our site was long enough for our fifth wheel and truck, but too narrow. Our patio/awning area was right next to the sewer hookup of the adjacent rig (yuk). We had a tiny fire pit and picnic table. We did not make a fire due since we surmised that the smoke would bother our neighbors just a few feet away. The newest section in the rear has huge sites. So wide that the most sites had a space to truck or tow vehicles beside their RV. There were large patio areas and fire pits. The bath/shower facilities are fine. The older one is functional and clean. The new one is beautiful with toweled walls, floors and granite sink tops. The campground laundry was large and very clean. You can't beat Ruby's for visiting Bryce Canyon. The shuttle stop inbound to the park is right on the premises. There are eating facilities, camp and gift shops, and a pool right on the property. We were told that we could use the indoor pool for the inn if we wanted to; we didn't, but it's nice to know. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

They have just opened a big rig area - large open field with a couple of trees. The sites are SUPER LARGE. May be the largest sites we've ever stayed in. Cable TV and internet worked well. No cell service (Verizon). Stayed two nights, then had to move the older section in the trees (no cable TV). The older sites are fine, but much more crowded. The big rig area is GREAT. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff were great and helpful. Right next to the shuttle stop. Our site was just big enough for our 25ft but had to put the toad somewhere else. Our site was flat but no room for error as it fell away and dropped off at the back. Wifi was good. It was very cold over night and it dropped down to 34 degree. The staff warned us that the water house may freeze. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Thank you for staying at our Campground! I'm glad you had a good experience and found everything to your liking. The campground is partly built on a hill so some of the sites are "back in" sites at the edge of the hill. What's nice about them is that they all have trees around them and a nice view. Thanks again and we hope to see you next time you're in the area.

We had a great site in the newer section. It was a little farther from the bathrooms, but not a bad walk. The site had a HUGE grassy area and fire pit. Every night we saw deer come down to the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a nice laundry. Ruby's is a big resort with a huge store, restaurant, and other little shops nearby. Ruby's is right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP. It was an awesome place and we would definitely return. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground and inn has grown tremendously in the past 10 yrs. The campground is huge. Sites are nice gravel although some are significantly sloped. The big rig sites in the back are open with a small patch of grass. We were given a pull through site up front under the trees at first. However it was too small for our 35' class A MH and tree branches rubbed on the top. So we had to move to the open big rig sites in the back. The registration people are not familiar with parking large RVs and recommended 2 other sites that were too small with low hanging trees. It's best if you check out the site first before trying to drive the RV there first if you have a large one. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This seems to be the best campground option with hookups for Bryce Canyon. Very convenient to the park (1/4 mile from the park entrance.) Ruby's is a big complex with large hotel, 2 restaurants, the campground and several other facilities. Campsites are gravel/dirt, and each has a firepit, but some are in odd locations. Many are VERY close together, and at least half have little to no shade. That said, the hookups work, the location is great, and restroom facilities were surprisingly clean. Crew were always driving around working on things in the campground, so it's well-tended. We would stay here again when visiting Bryce. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Showers seemed to be only in the main building at the campground entrance (?) That's quite a walk from the lower part of the campground; we were glad to have our own in the camper! For a nice dinner (though a bit pricey), try the Bryce Canyon Lodge inside the park. Food was very good, though service was a bit slow. Great atmosphere, in a 1920s national park lodge surrounded by pines.

Thank you for the review! We actually have two shower houses, one in the rear of the campground by the "new" section that was just constructed about two years ago. I'm glad you had a good time at Bryce Canyon and enjoyed your stay with us.

This place is perfectly located to see Bryce Canyon! Very spacious site, great digital cable lineup (about 90 channels), great AT&T cell reception, fairly decent WiFi. Sewer port wasn't threaded, so I had to place a large rock on our adapter to keep it tight. Would highly recommend this park, and would return if we ever make it back here again. We arrived late afternoon on a Wednesday and all sites were taken, but they still had tons of room in their "group camping" area. There are no utilities but plenty of space depending on the time of year I would guess. We parked in a fairly level spot next to a picnic table with some nice shade. As we were only in the area for the night it wasn't a big deal to us as we had plenty of water on board and a generator. Nice park from what we saw, some deer meandered right by our rig at dusk it was a perfect finish to a busy day. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Given the park's perfect location for visiting Bryce Canyon, the pricey rate was worth it. We stayed in the new big-rig section at the back of the park (Sites 200-242). Fantasy and Adventure Caravans took many of the sites every night. Sites are very spacious: able to fit 45-foot rigs with an equivalent width for a toad or truck and "patio mat" plus a raised platform that is half grass and half gravel. The grass area has newly planted trees. The gravel area has a picnic table and fire ring. Excellent utilities. Excellent WiFi; fair-good Verizon. Excellent internal roads with no scraping trees. Only improvement suggestions: more gravel to avoid muddy puddles and either screw-in sewer connections or bigger rocks. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Bryce Canyon park shuttles stop at the entrance to the campground, so you don't need to drive your car and fight the crowds for parking space. There's a ranger on-duty at the shuttle stop, so while waiting, you can get all the information you would stand in line for at the Visitor Center. The shuttles also allow you to take one-way hikes from one shuttle stop to another. A day trip to Kodachrome Basin is a must.

Great site in the back of the park. Trees are still growing, but very easy to drive around, wonderful WIFI and cable TV. Close to Bryce Canyon and many shops, restaurants, etc. in the village area. Picnic table and fire pit and spacious site. Site was pretty level, but all gravel. They could have made them closer together, but it was so nice to have the extra space. Deer wandering around in the back field. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a place close to Bryce Canyon. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We actually stayed here on our way up to Glacier and our way back. These folks are so accommodating and ensure you are taking care of. They called me the day before as there was a mix up on the reservation and got the issue resolved. I was very satisfied with their customer service! The sites are well kept and facilities are clean. Wifi seemed pretty good and will continue to return to this campground! We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an excellent campground located within 2 miles of the Bryce Canyon National Park Entrance. Our site was one of the largest we have encountered with a grass patio, picnic table, and firepit. Wifi was good. Water pressure was 60 psi and 50 amp power was stable. This is truly a big rig friendly park. Great value! We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Bryce Canyon is a must see. Route 12 from the CG to Boulder, Utah is a stunning drive and should not be missed. The cafe in Boulder provides an excellent lunch with great pies. The General Store at the CG is a souvenir hunter's dream. The Sinclair Gas Station offers an RV wash.

We love the new bike trail too. A couple of weeks ago we took our son on the Canyon to Canyon bike ride from Bryce Canyon to Red Canyon (17 miles) and it was a blast! There is so much to see and do up here that you could spend some quality time and not experience it all. Thanks for posting.

There's a National Park shuttle bus stop on site. We are staying in the newer RV section, which has very spacious sites. The sites are dirt with some rock, as are the roads. Roads are plenty wide and each site has a very large combination grass/gravel area with fire pit. Unfortunately, it has rained quite a bit, which makes just stepping outside messy due to large puddles and wet dirt everywhere. Would be nice if the parking area of the sites were asphalt, concrete or clean gravel. Wifi is awful, even with a wifi tower directly across the road, as well as one two sites down from us. Cell reception is also awful (even with a cell booster), which is unusual as we typically can use that when wifi won't work. Not here. It has been a struggle to even make a phone call. All in all, it is a nice place to stay that has pretty much everything (except connectivity) and we would stay here again (and pray it doesn't rain). Can't beat the price! We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
