We loved this campground, the views are amazing. The sites are terraced and well spaced. There was ample room to maneuver our 35 ft. Ft wheel. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasant and efficient check-in. Sites vary in size and amount of shade. Restrooms are clean and the outside kitchens are magnificent. Good Wi-Fi. No TV channels via antenna and no cell phone coverage in town. Courtesy phone available for local calls at the back of the office. One problem: there is very annoying traffic noise in the early morning in the lower part of the park (RV sites 1 to 33). Uphill part of the park is traffic noise free (RV sites 37 to 59). Check the campground map on internet. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The last time we stayed here in 2012 the park was already on off season rates by mid-October. Now, with more RV customers later in the year, we had to settle for a back in site rather than a pull through. It saved us a few bucks and was cheaper than staying a second day at the park closer to Bryce Canyon National Park. As noted, there is no cable TV but our site was satellite friendly. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. I did not see any recycling. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the lower section of the park to be near the dog run. (We shouldn't have bothered. Although it was enclosed, it was tiny and packed dirt. ) The lower sites are separated by grass. The sites and the interior roads are rocks (which makes for tiring dog walking). The upper sites were smaller but had views of the red cliffs. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They offer a pancake breakfast in the mornings and ice cream sundaes on Saturday night. And, importantly, it is close to Bryce. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Upon arrival we were asked by the desk lady to "leave a review between 9 and 10 stars when KOA asks you to rate us". Then we pulled into our site--small, not level and partially washed away by water such that it was mostly dirt. When I asked to change sites I was told "we're full" despite the site right next to mine being empty. Then I asked a staff member if I could buy some firewood, "we're all gone for the day" was the response. Bottom line: they never sent the email for me to rate them. These guys don't care about customers and I won't be staying here again with such other plentiful and nicer options near Bryce. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful... one staff member even took my 10 gallon propane tank to be filled and brought it back. The park itself is very clean and well cared for. We stayed in the lower section which has slightly roomier spaces than the upper section. The roads are easily navigable and the utilities are very convenient. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Just a short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Canyon Lodge, nearby, has fabulous food and pies. 5 miles up the road in Tropic is a decent grocery store.

Beautiful park with a nice little store. Sites were very tight, but the area was beautiful and we liked that they had fire rings and picnic table. The main reason we stayed here was because we wanted to get into Bryce NP early and they don't take camping reservations. The lower campsites by the office/store/pool were grass, but seemed even tighter, so we moved to the upper gravel area. Not a very level site but it worked OK for us. Friendly staff that showed us to our site. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

On the way to Bryce we enjoyed walking to Mossy Cave at Mile Marker 17. Beautiful, but the dog had to stay in the car.

We are often critical of KOA campsites but this one is a gem. This is quite a large park in a good position for awesome Bryce Canyon and parts of scenic route 12. Site was level gravel with picnic table and fire pit. As well as restrooms, showers and laundry near the office there are also these facilities and a kitchen at the top of the park. Lovely friendly staff and we had excellent wifi for our whole stay. We would have easily given a 10 but the grounds do need some TLC, shrubs pruned, weeds cleared and some general grading of the gravel but this did not spoil our enjoyment of this park and the beauty of the local area. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The reviewer who said there's not much road noise from Highway 12 must have been very hard of hearing. We were forced to make a last minute change of plans and ended up camped at the bottom of the row closest to the highway. During the day and well into the evening there was a LOT of traffic - farm and ranch equipment, trucks, and construction vehicles. The place is nice, but the location of the front half is just too close to the road. The back half is closed on Oct. 1, and would have been much nicer. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We passed a lot of nice RV parks and resorts that were much closer to Bryce Canyon NP, so I thought the price was a little high for this location. That said, this campground has a camping ambience with pretty views. It is located on Scenic Byway Route 12. Traffic is minimal, and vehicle noise was not an issue. The 15 mile drive to Bryce was pretty and not a big deal for us. No grocery stores near Cannonville. This CG provides a picnic table and fire ring. There are tent sites, nice cabins and a pool. Hookups are reasonably located, and big rig sites are long enough. 50 amp electric and water pressure okay. WIFi was typically adequate. We used our satellite dish and antenna with minimal channels (no CBS or ABC). NO cell coverage on AT&T. Site was long enough for our 40' fifth wheel and tow vehicle (w/duallies). The office staffers were sometimes helpful, and sometimes blandly grouchy. (Note to staff: we are new to your camp, not idiots or derelicts just because we don't know your particular rules. The brusque attitude made me think about moving to one of those CGs that were closer to Bryce.) We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground is @15 miles from Bryce on the far east side of the park on (Scenic Highway) Route 12. It is no where near Zion NP. You might want to bring your food as grocery stores are small and 15 miles away.

The people who work at this park are very friendly, helpful and nice! Check in was efficient and we were escorted to our site. Our site had a great shade tree and grass area. The park is very conveniently located to visit Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome and Escalante Staircase. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA sits 10 miles south of the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP. The staff was really friendly. Our site 18 was a nice long pull through on gravel (mostly level). We had a nice tree for shade and a patch of grass for our picnic table. We enjoyed the marshmallow roast Saturday night, and the ice cream social Sunday night. The grounds are well kept. I thought the laundry machines were a little pricey at $2.50 a wash and $1.50 to dry. But there were a sufficient number of machines. The wifi was good, but we had no cell service on our phones and there was no cable service. The distance from the park did not bother us. We would stay here again. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and everything worked. Sites are a little narrow but usable with our 2 opposing slides. Our only real problems was the lack of a chair or bench in the showers. Made it hard to dress. And the price is high. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Admittedly, I am not a very frequent KOA customer, but this place is not up to KOA standard & expensive for what it is. We are 55' hooked up and got put up on the hillside and were stuffed into the site. Virtually no space between sites. Wi-Fi worked well from our site but suspect the sites at the very back are dead. Would stay again only if power was needed. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is on the low end for a KOA, and over priced for what you get. The roads are very narrow as are the sites. We stayed in the upper campground which was better for views, but the sites are tiny. The brush between the sites could use a good trimming, and with sites built on a slope there is often a berm of dirt to navigate to walk around the site. The roads and sites are large gravel which can be difficult to walk on. If it's not gravel it's fine powder like dust that fills the air at every little breeze. The staff was quirky, but the work campers were very friendly. If I came back, I would stay at the park in town, closer to Bryce. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
