Third time we have stayed here and as they say, third time a charm. This was the first level site we have had. Sadly, the young men and women who work here think paved equals level; and that is not always the case in this park. Sites are very close to one another and you could end up opening your door only to be greeted by your neighbor's power pedestal, water, and sewer hook-ups. Management has cleared out 99% of the long term guests and removed an old abandoned RV. That action improved the overall look and feel of the park. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have been staying at this campground for 37 years. It has a great waterpark for the family. In the 37 years, no improvements have been made to the back restroom where the small camper/tent area is located. The cleanliness is always sketchy in the bathroom. The front bathroom that accommodates larger RVs and the waterpark is better. The property is beautiful...many cherry and apple trees. However, the sites are extremely narrow, grass/gravel combinations with old picnic tables. The grounds are groomed, but everything is bare-essentials maintained. Staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes rude...all young adults. We continue staying because of the ideal location and the beauty of the mountains nearby. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a Mormon-owned RV park. They highly promote the LDS Church. However, there are also Catholic and other churches in the area. Close to Legacy Parkway, a 55-mph road that leads to I-15 and other interstates - Legacy Parkway is a very nice, leisurely route to downtown Salt Lake City.

Sites are pull though, but some are on grass, which made leveling difficult. The water park is on 3 sides of the campground-so if you aren't partaking, it is loud during the day (but closed on Sundays). We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Packed in like sardines Thurs-Sat nights. Little enforcement of crazy parking and noise. Otherwise a great park especially Sun-Thurs AM. Sites are very tight, probably designed before today's RVs with slides, awnings, etc. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is connected to an amusement park. Lots of kids who like walking thru your RV site. Facilities are old. Only RV park I have ever been in where the hookups (electric, water ,sewer) were on the wrong side. Had to run electric and water hose under my rig to hook up. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

If you are traveling with kids, this is a great place to go, as it has a full water park! For a couple who preferred quiet, not so much (although the park closes at 8pm, so it was quiet after that). The office/store is well equipped and has all the regular necessities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The spaces are long pull-throughs and had lots of shade and grass. We didn't use the pool, as it was very crowded with kids. It's an older park, but it was a nice place to spend a night. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

If you have a trailer of any size you will have troubles maneuvering here. We have a 40' RV. The morning we were leaving, I had to make sure my neighbors truck was gone otherwise I would not have been able to get out. This is also a children's theme park next door. Good thing it was off season. I would not recommend this park as the roads and sites are way too tight even for smaller trailers. To many seasonals as well. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is unusual. It's a small amusement park for children with camp sites for RVs and tents. Pull through sites are level, close, full hook-up. Tent sites are more generous in size and quieter. Steep hill to enter, so watch your tow hitch if towing. Convenient location for a quick, off-the highway one night travel stop. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

2nd time staying here and would probably stay here again. Our 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 grandchildren loved the adjoining water park; and it kept us Old Farts young too. For the price charged, decent WiFi and cable TV should be included. They should also provide a discount to the property's water park. A major issue is level sites. Employees (maybe just seasonal employees) think if a site is paved it is level. False! On both stays here we had to purchase an elevated step stool so we could safely get out of our RV. I know this is not the first time this issue has been commented on, and would suggest if the owners don't fix this problem they will ultimately face relative legal challenges. This is a favorite, seasonal site for all kinds of reunions, so plan your reservations accordingly. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Based on previous reviews we thought we would fit (MDT+40' 5th Wheel). Campground said we wouldn't have a problem. We were assigned to Row A, the turn into row A was tight, streets were narrow. In order to get into site we had to go 5' onto grass across the road. If the campground had been full there is no way we could get into the site. Site was plenty long. If we had been assigned to Row B or C we would not have been able to get out due to the narrow road. If the campground had been full (summer) I doubt if we could have gotten into our site. Campground was wonderful except for the tight roads. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park built with a waterpark. If you have children and want some fun, this is the place. The staff was very cooperative and friendly. They gave us a spot on Row C but I could not get into it so I parked in an open B slot and went into the office to report too many vehicles in the C aisle for me to make a turn. They told me to stay where I was and changed the papers. We were only able to stay one night but to tell the truth I would have stayed a week if I had all the kids with me. I would most certainly stay here again. My only real complaint was the internet lacks the necessary bandwidth for all customers. The best time to use the internet is before 6 am or after 2 am. There is no cable TV but antenna TV brings in a fair number of channels. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly staff, located next to a water park, just off the Hwy. Very quiet park for all that Shady trees etc. blocked our satellite reception if that is important. Good pie shop effectively on site. We could not get our rig level (air bags only) to such an extent that we bought leveling blocks. Still appears to be the best option in town. We would therefor, stay here again. Overall Rating:

The park is quiet and relatively clean given it's got a water park combined with it. I couldn't give the park a higher rating due to the lack of manners the campers displayed. But in their defense there were no rules posted on how campers should or should not act. My case in point was the way the campers would walk through occupied camp sites. This included adults as well as children. I think if the rules of respect were posted and maybe emphasized then this wouldn't have been a problem. Even though it was next to a major highway and the water park, it was still very quiet. The sites were very small and you had to be careful when you put out your awning or you would hit your neighbor. Given all the poor manners, I would still stay here again. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. It was a little tight, but not too bad. It was great for an overnight stop. Has a cute little water park and mini golf course attached, which made for a nice break for the kids. Our only problem was that the people camped next to us setup their tent in our space, rather than their own, so we couldn't use our pull-through site as it was meant to be used; we had to drop our toad and back out. Cherry Hill is a great park. The rate is based on a Good Sam discount. Much of the park was closed down for the season. We were in Site B14, which seemed to have a partially blocked Wi-Fi signal (which is in the office). We could only get 2 bars of 5 on the Wi-Fi. Bathrooms were a 7 of 10. They do not recycle. (Parks need to get into this century.) The entrance off of Main Street is a little rough, evidenced by the gouges in the pavements in both directions. There is an entrance through the parking lot below the batting cages: off of Lloyd Road. You might call ahead to confirm the gate from Lloyd is open. We would definitely visit again. We camped at Cherry Hill Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
