Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Another unusual place. Located on a multi-acre farm and owned by a generational farm family. The owner's are very warm and friendly. Cozy place. Small park. Sites are close with full hook-ups. Conveniently located right off the main road, yet quiet. Coin laundry. We stayed here three nights. Visit the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and Zion National Park while here. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Excellent small campground off the beaten path, about halfway between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Utilities are convenient and in good repair. Adequate room between sites for slide outs. Picnic table at each site. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
5 miles down the road toward Zion National Park is a real German bakery! Excellent German breakfast, good lunch, and great homemade breads and pastries.
Site is dirt (muddy when rain), utility pole from neighbor is next to door. Not much room between sites. Rural. 50 AMP, WiFi was good, 4G on Verizon. No playground, no dog run- but can walk dogs on property. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Sweet little (12 sites?) family owned park on RT 89, convenient to National Parks and many other places of interest. Nightly rate is $30 but discount given for week stay. Nice sites with grass, Park is spotless with very good free WiFi. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Zion Nat'l PArk, Bryce Canyon, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Glendale is very small town but convenient to Kanab, UT and Fredonia, AZ for groceries, etc.
This is our third time staying here. Nice, small, quiet park, away from the crowds but close enough to many national parks. Sites are gravel and pretty level. Nice grass area between sites. WiFi works well, clean restroom/showers and laundry area. Very friendly. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Small country-like campground but very adequate for visiting parks in the area. Kanab is about 20 miles away so depending on your needs, plan accordingly. Sites adequate for our big rig & tow car (although some sites bigger than others). Staff is very friendly & helpful. Their wi-fi worked well, ours didn't, electric and water were good. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Nice park with good elect and water. Sites are pretty level but are a little close to your neighbor. Has grass between sites. WiFi is great. Have tables for each sight. This is a great spot for going to many of the parks in the area. Some places to eat near here or go down the road to Kanab for lots of stores and eating places. The weather is nice and cool at this time of the year. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if in the area. Few trees but in May that is not a concern. TV antenna on the roof of your rv will work fine. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Nice, well run campground. Office staff was competent and helpful. RV spot was sufficiently large enough to 'hold' our motor home and car. Wifi worked well and was free; our ATT cellphone service was non-existent. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Zion National Park is nearby. Nearest grocery store was about 5 miles south on 89.
We stayed here for one night. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Nice little park. A little bit on the tight side, narrow sites and could be graded to level but generally an OK park. Great wifi which does not happen too often. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Price reflects Good Sam discount plus getting the 7th night free. Great place to stay while visiting Bryce, Zion, Grand Staircase Escalante, Vermilion a Cliffs, and north entrance to a Grand Canyon. Very nice owners. Good utilities. Easy in and out. Level site (12). We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
This is a small Mom and Pop campground. The roads and sites are gravel. You will need to level your RV/trailer unless you luck out and find the sweet spot on that space. Wi-fi is iffy. Cell phone coverage is non-existent. No cable and I was not able to get any TV reception. I would stay here again for a night or two. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
This park is very well located for visiting Bryce, Zion, Cedar Breaks, and the city of Kanab. The sites are not terribly wide and privacy is slim. However, it is family run and very well cared for. It is bound to be a treat in October to pick the apples which they offer to campers. We would stay here again. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
Although the sites were close together, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were really friendly. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We chose this campground because of its proximity to Bryce and Zion. We arrived at this campground after spending the day visiting Bryce. The next morning we visited Zion. After spending most of the day at a very crowded Zion, we really enjoyed the t-bone steaks that we purchased from the owners and a nice quiet evening away from the crowds. The steaks were so good we purchased more to take home. We would stay here again. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Awesome helpful owners were a big plus for this park. The sites are in our opinion too close if you want to use your table. It sits in the same area as your neighbors sewer, water, and electric. The park is clean, gravel mostly level sites, and well maintained. To get to the east side of Zion is about 45 minutes as well as about 50 minutes to Bryce so park is central to both and about 30 minutes north of Kanab. WiFi works great. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a no frills country RV park but in Glendale, UT., just off Rt. 89. Greeter was friendly and helpful. Lots are gravel with grass between and mostly pull through. About 20 miles to Zion and 50 to Bryce. There are no stores in Glendale so plan your food accordingly. No cable and our antenna did not pull anything in. Neighbors satellite worked fine. Quiet and we enjoyed our stay. We would return. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.
