Very nice park way off the main road so no noise at night. Nice space that was level. Good water pressure and full hook-up, but we were there for just one night so didn't use the sewer. Lots of stars. Staff was very nice, and the store looked well-stocked. Pool looked nice with water slide. This appears to be a stop-over camp because everyone was gone when we got up. Will stay here again. We camped at Green River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much to do in Green River, but be sure to go out to Goblin Valley on Highway 24, two exits from Green River turnoff. Truck Stop at Sinclair Station has great food. We have eaten there twice. Green River is known for their melons, so be sure to buy one. We got a watermelon but they have other choices. Vetere's Melons.

Dusty, hot, dated bathrooms, expensive, no desirable features to mention. That utilities worked is as positive as I can be. There have to be better places to stay in Green River. Sorry we didn't find one. We camped at Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Interior roads are rough. They have not put any gravel down to help control the dust. Lots are spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is dirt and features a fire ring and picnic table. Park not up to what we expect from KOA at a premium price. We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the park overnight. It is easy in and easy out. There is a nice pool and a restaurant at the entrance to the park. There are good places to walk the dog. The site was a pull through and just long enough for the coach and the car. The park facilities and grounds are well kept. We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

So this probably isn't the fanciest place to stay in this part of the country, but it is the best if you want access to the San Rafael Swell. We were assigned a misshapen location, but the lady in front was very accommodating about changing it. The layout is a little confusing, but not many here so was no problem for us. The electricity is good (makes AC great), water good, the sewer hookup was a little funky and did get a discount for gas and extras at their store. They have car/RV wash near, laundromat (didn't use), and general store (didn't use). It was quiet and places for dogs to run and also cleanly kept dog runs. We would stay here again for the location. We camped at Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The San Rafael Swell is a geological bonanza. If you like slot canyons there are lots here. Be prepared to hike some distances to get to them, and do your homework on where they are. Driving in the area can be really great especially coming from the west on I-70 just before you get to Green River when you pass through Spotted Wolf Canyon. Do take the view turnouts cause they are quite spectacular.

Stayed here a week to explore Moab and the National Parks. It's a quiet park, mostly sand at the 50 amp sites. There is no dog park only walking area around the perimeter with some grass. They do offer breakfast with pastries and hard boiled eggs. Utilities are not ideally placed, they're at the front of the site. We smelled the cows next to us every day and sometimes a sewer odor throughout the park. A train is near yet not annoying. While rules say no pets in the buildings the employees have their dogs in the office and laundry. Also not all their golf carts abide by the speed limit! We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

This is convenient to three National Parks. Grocery shopping is limited and none within 50 miles. The Blimpies sandwiches were good for picnics. The restaurant next door offers a 10% discount while staying here.

Campsite was large and shady. There was room between you and your neighbor's site; we weren't crammed in. Campground was all grass which was great for walking our dog. There was a cow pasture across the way and you could hear the cows mooing. It was enjoyable to sit outside at night and listen to them. We would stay at this park again if we're in the area. We camped at Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

First time at this park. We usually stay in Moab when traveling thru the area. Glad we picked this park on this trip. It is all gravel, mostly pull thru spots and plenty of room. The office had a little store and personnel were welcoming. The park is not fancy but was well maintained. We had cable but no wifi. Green river runs right by the park and we had a great walk along it. Town is also a nice little town. Will stay again next time we are in the area. We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

The owners are very nice, they have complimentary coffee, pastries and other breakfast items every morning. the downside is that this RV park desperately could use a lot of gravel and some real grass. The whole park is covered with about an inch of fine dust. Even the areas that are supposed to be grass are nothing but dust/dirt and weeds. I cannot imagine what a mess this would be if it rained. If you like staying in a dust bowl, this is the place for you. We won't return! We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Green River seems to be a dying town, but we stayed here to visit the National Parks to the south. One decent small market in town.

We were happy with our site, which one of the 50 amp pull thrus facing what appeared to be an overflow or future area at the east end of the park (it was empty). The 50 amp area is dirt and not nearly as nice as the 30 amp area with grass and trees. We had a good view and the park was quiet. The wifi was very poor so we used the good Verizon 4G service. If we were to return to Green River we'd stay here. We camped at Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Level park, nice staff. Sites are fairly large but most are dirt with no nearby grass. The sites that do have grass are 30 amp and for shorter rigs. Goats' heads are a problem both for people and dogs. Check your shoes at the door or you will be tracking them in to your rig. There is a nice pool here though it is open to the public at times.
