This RV Park is a bit run-down and their power supply is questionable. My surge protector showed ground fault at my site so I moved to another site and got the same results. There is a nice sized dog area. The location is good. Near downtown Green River and close to Moab. The staff was nice. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Quiet shady park with oversized pull-throughs. A great alternative to the higher priced Moab RV parks only 50 miles away. Gas station and convenient RV, truck, and drive-through wash bays in front. Good Sam discount came up short, covering less than the city tax. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Long sites for big rigs. Bathrooms clean. Most sites are level with gravel. Dog park is completely fenced in and divides big and small dogs. WiFi is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Would return. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

OK park for an overnight, or for a week - price is the weekly rate. If we go back, I may try one of the other options. Just a bit pricey for a well used gravel site. WiFi worked OK during off hours, but not during the busy periods. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We thought this campground had a nice "park like" feel to it. Nothing fancy but pleasant enough. Having a Labrador puppy with us, really appreciated the Doggie Playground so our "baby" could run after long day on the road. Sites are well away from the road and quiet. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is very old. Office dingy and the lady grumpy. Not nasty, just not friendly. Playground hardly called a playground. Weeds and gravel. Sewer hookup took over 30 feet and was very difficult to get, as it was buried under dirt. Clearly not used in awhile. Site is level, that was good. Had ants, which is not necessarily the fault of the park. We will not stay here again. Will go to the state park on the other side of the golf course. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

An older park with long big rig sites that are a bit on the narrow side. Lots of shade. Very quiet at night. WiFi (free) and cable TV reception both excellent. Laundry very clean and up to date. Excellent dog run area. Signage was a little confusing while moving to our site without an escort. While this park is clean it has a general rundown appearance. It was obvious that recent extended rain storms prevented attention to grass cutting but we were a little put off by mowing still going on at 8:00P.M. one evening. We would stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A day trip down Highway 24 to the "Valley of the Goblins State Park" is well worth it. You could walk for a hours in and among fascinating rock formations that have eroded into shapes resembling large mushrooms, goblins or other imaginary creatures.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the area. Not a fancy park, but had all the necessities. Sites are a little close when you both have slides. Enjoyed the nice dog park, and the laundry. Park was not full, so think that was definitely an advantage. We would stay again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

No frills. Bathroom lights are on sensors by the sink, so when you are using the toilet, the lights go out and you are left in the dark. No gray water dump. No trees. The pictures do not give the true story of the park. Probably will pass this by on our next RV outing. Not sure why our Good Sam Club rated this place so high. Beware. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Not a great park for big rigs. Even though they have long sites, they are narrow and they can have short trees that get in the way of pushouts, doors, and awnings. We had to pull our 5er very far forward in the site due to the inconvenient placement of the 50 amp service. This took a lot of time due to navigating the trees on both sides. The hookups at this park are very old and worn and, in general, the park has the appearance of being not very well kept up. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel sites, some shade, peeling paint picnic table, very old asphalt pad, nearly gravel, dirt and gravel around site. It was dry while here, but site would be muddy if it rained. Fairly large laundromat, not bad but could be cleaner. Overall OK for desert campground in small town. I would stay here again if in the area. Green River is a nice small town and about 50 miles from Moab and Arches National Park. A bit further to Canyonlands National Park. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical unkempt park, trees needed trimming, grass was mostly dead, and the biting bugs came out in the evening. The long sites had the hookups in the correct location for motorhomes. The town is very depressed. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Restroom and shower facilities were excellent. The laundry looked up to date, but I didn't need to use. Grounds could be tidied up a bit (tables fencing at site worn). Overall, for our one night stay, this park was fine. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

What a dump, probably the most run down RV park we've ever stayed in. The concrete pads are all cracked and full of weeds. The "grass" is almost nonexistent and full of goat head stickers. There was no shade at our site. The dog park was large and fairly clean but it is all small gravel and my dogs didn't seem to like walking on it. We hooked up to electric and it worked fine so that's why I gave it two stars instead of one. I would never stay here again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
