We come to this RV park every year. It is a great place! We were in a concrete site in the M section. They just opened a new area that has wider concrete sites with its own pool area. So there are now 2 pools. There is also a hot tub in the "old" area - we did not check to see if there is a hot tub in the new area. The roads are wide and easy to navigate. The place is kept clean. There are good places to walk the dog. The location is great for all kinds of activities. The internet worked fine. It is just a nice place! We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. Friendly staff. Great view of mountains! Nice, level concrete pad with good amount of grass between sites. Nice clubhouse, pool, etc. We only stayed for 3 nights but would like to come back to this campground again in the future. I would give this a higher rating if it were close to a lake, ocean, etc. I would recommend this park to others. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Went to Park City nearby and enjoyed Main street as well as a mining museum that is right on Main street. We (and our son) enjoyed the mining museum and a ride on the trolley. Also went to the Museum of Ancient Life (Dinosaur museum) in Lehi that we really enjoyed.

Decided to stay here after reading RV Park Reviews by others. Good choice. Very close to town and stores. Excellent sites. We stayed in the new 50 plus section in a 32 foot fifth wheel. Our site only had 50 amp so needed a 50 to 30 plug cord. Staff was very helpful and called, we were still on the road, when they had a cancellation so we could stay a full four nights. The Heber area has plenty to explore. My wife would like to stay a. month in this park. We have stayed in many parks over the years and this is in our opinion the absolute best. Sadly, it is tough to get into, being popular, so plan ahead. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great views of the snow covered mountains. WiFi the best we ever had at a RV park. Power and water excellent. Paved drive with grass between the sites. Wide roads. Friendly helpful staff. We will return. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Outstanding resort! Clean no messy long term rv's. New section opened up the weekend we showed up. Views of the surrounding snow capped mountains was spectacular. Easy in and out of our pull through site. More than adequate space between sites. The only drawback was the "occasional" wifi issue. But there were only a few for our week stay. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week on our way through. Guided to our site by staff, and found that the "P" section was perfectly level for our 5th wheel. We paid an extra $20 for high speed internet for the week, and didn't regret it a bit! We streamed movies, played XBOX, and enjoyed being online with no delays. Well maintained grass next to each spot, clean picnic tables, good traffic flow and plenty of room to move around with the rig. This park has amazing views, peaceful atmosphere, pool/spa, game room, and a great dog park. We really enjoyed our stay. Overall, this was one of our favorite stops so far. Tips for other Campers:

For food, I recommend getting some yummy "spinny" fries and onion rings (with the most wonderful blue cheese!) from Spin Cafe, but wouldn't go to the expense of a full meal there again. Our meal was $100 with taxes and tip, and everyone agreed that apart from the items I mentioned, we'd rather have eaten Taco Bell and saved the $. We went back the next day for gelato and I about choked when I heard the price for 3 tiny scoops ($15.50). The onion rings were out of this world, though!

This is a very well organized and well run RV resort. The sites are fairly close together, but not right on top of each other, and there's a wide variety of site sizes (and prices) to suit anyone's needs. There's a giant new section that just opened up (May 2017) that has very long and wide sites (all concrete, no grass), while the original section (which is still quite new) has grass and small trees between sites. Both sections have fenced dog parks, but the dog park in the new section is huge. Being a resort, there are pools, hot tubs, a playground, pickleball, etc. It's only a mile or so outside of Heber City and has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The WiFi works pretty well while we were there... not super fast, but fast enough that we could watch the occasional YouTube video without difficulty. Our AT&T was fast, and Verizon had good signal but was a bit slow. We were able to receive both US mail and UPS deliveries at the resort. The only complaint we have is that the sites in our section (P) were unlevel and required several wood blocks under our front wheels and jacks before our levelers could work. If you like RV resorts, this is a great one. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed 6 nights to explore the area. Was cloudy and rainy, with snow (that didn't stick around) most of the days. This is one of those places that earns - I think - the term "resort". Their buildings are very nice; have many amenities like pool, hot tub, playground equipment, basketball court, grilling area, putting green, propane filling, etc. All sites that I saw were concrete. Some pads are just the width of the rig, while others are wider. I reserved one of the "U" sites because they are the longest. We fit our fifth wheel, truck, small SUV, flat trailer and two motorcycles all on our site. Additional parking for vehicles that don't fit on your site is $5/day, and I think others didn't want to pay that because they would park their vehicle in the street in front or behind their RV. This makes getting out of your site difficult. Luckily, we were on an end so we had enough room to back out of our pull-thru site due to people parking their vehicle in the road. Main roads are wide, but the interior roads that you face once in the site are not as wide; and they're dead-ends so be sure to follow your site escort. Site was level. Hookups where they should be. Metal picnic table. Neighbor was pretty close, but you're definitely not slide-to-slide. Views of mountains all around. Their new section looks almost finished and those sites look even wider than their existing. Seems like a family-friendly park, but when we were there it felt more like a snowbird resort. Only had screaming kids one day we were there. There is housing construction going on east of the resort, so there may be some noise during weekdays for awhile. Nice grass around. WiFi was sufficient for surfing and checking emails. You have to enter a code to get in the gate so make sure you keep that with you. Allowed us to receive packages here. Very friendly, helpful folks in the office. Sent out emails warning about freezing temps; good communication. Had multiple bars of AT&T LTE. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Park City has Walmart, Whole Foods, lots of restaurants. They also have an awesome recycling center - open 24 hours - that take nearly everything including plastics above 2. Got a great haircut at On the Fringe Salon in Heber City. The Smith's grocery store in Heber was really nice.

The price relates to a months stay. We stayed during the ski season so an unusual timing. Lots of people using this park to ski Deer Valley and Park City. Not a bad drive (half an hour) to the mountain. Everything suitable and they have a hot tub but it is outside and not the easiest to use in the summer. Great shower rooms with toilets. Wifi was good and verizon cell was excellent. Easy in and out with large entrance. The town has everything you need and not too crowded. Winter, they kept everything cleared and reasonable. The summer it would be a nice environment except no trees so it hot, might be hard to keep cool. I would return. Nice couple that managed the park moved down to Moab to manage another one we went to later on. Good pool. We left the rv there while we went out of the country and all was well. They also got a large amount of our forwarded mail. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

While I personally prefer gravel/dirt sites, I know many RVers prefer paved for level parking. These are paved and level. The park is very well maintained and very clean with a big, nice playground for the kids, a fenced-in dog run, and shower ROOMS that are fabulous! This was our first RV experience ever, so we didn't realize at the time how rare these amenities were. Now that we have been to several, I realize how rare this place is. The showers were my favorite feature! You get an entire, room to yourself with a toilet, sink shower and plenty of changing room with furniture. Beautifully tiled and very private. I don't know when they were built, but they appear to be very new. The store is very well-equipped. The staff is very friendly, and there are several permanent residents who are friendly as well. Oh, and the wi-fi was excellent! Not a lot of cable channels, but we brought along our Roku unit, so we just watched Netflix anyway with no buffering issues at all. Great place! We will stay again! We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The rave reviews must be from people who had better sites than us. We reserved a deluxe pull through for a 45 ft coach. We were put in a spot adequate for a 35 ft fifth wheel. The road to pull out was so narrow that it would have been impossible to pull out without running over the corner of the tiny grass area adjacent to the site. The irony is that they make a big deal on their website about the fines they will levy if you drive over their grass ($50!)- and then put you in a spot where it impossible not to. Solved the problem by backing out, but should not have been charged for a deluxe pull through. Went back to office and complained (which I have never done anywhere). Staff person agreed with me that the site was short, street was narrow, and said they usually don't put big rigs in those spaces, but that was all that was available. I asked if he didn't think that should be communicated to customer when making a reservation. No real answer. No reduction in fee, no refund. Don't stay in any of the "D" sites if you are 45 ft. Ask for a "U" site.

The sites were tiny and we were literally in the same living space as the campers next to us. Sunny and open exposure. Concrete pad with a picnic table. Clean restrooms.

Won't be going back to this park. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a month in Sept 2016. We had visited the park in June 2016 so we knew the layout and where we wanted to stay. We got lucky and were able to reserve a spot that was perfect for us. We have a 35 ft motorhome and we had an excellent experience while here. The staff is very friendly and professional. The facilities are first rate and the grounds are kept neat. The place was always full while we were here but we didn't get that "crowded" feel. We made a reservation for next year. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.
