It's dry-camping here, generator hours between 6am-10pm. There is plenty of water available from the spigots placed randomly around the campgrounds, but they are next to the road and threaded, as well as a potable water hose at the dump station. The dump costs an additional $10 to use and requires cash or credit card through a machine that will unlock the cap to the dump once paid. There are 4 loops to select your site from: A loop seems to be where the more long-term RV campers prefer to stay with lots of aspen trees around. B, C, & D loops are closer to the lake but very little vegetation so it feels wide open. D loop has the best scenery of the lake and it seemed almost every site there will get a decent view. You can still get a view of the lake from certain sites in B & C loops. We stayed for one week and stayed in site B-15, which had a grove of pine trees that made us feel like we were by ourselves, but no lake view. However, over the weekend it seemed every site around us was filled with tent campers and they were noisy past quiet hours. Half of the sites in this campground can only be reserved by walk-up, so anyone without a reservation is very likely to find a spot. My recommendation would be to stay in A loop and head to the section at the very back reserved for walk-ups only, there was only one other RV back there and no tent campers so you can still have some peace regardless of the weekend campers flooding the other loops. The camp hosts were wonderful and extremely helpful. We arrived here with a punctured flat tire and they were understanding to let us sit at the dump station (where we discovered it) and change out the tire. They had an air compressor they personally let us borrow. The temps were very refreshing and still gets quite chilly at night (40s-50s). Excellent Verizon coverage here with strong LTE signal on our MiFi. We camped at Soldier Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Big G is the nearest service station 10 miles away in Fruitland, UT with gas, diesel, propane refills, small grocery store, and restaurant (open until 8pm) with very tasty burgers and reasonably priced. Heber City is 30 miles the other direction but has all the conveniences you need, including Walmart, RV services, UPS store, etc.

This is a nice, well-kept concessionier forest service campground. Our 40' motorhome fit fine. We didn't have reservations mid-week but they would be necessary during the summer and holidays. It's a busy park for fishing and boating. The roads and sites are paved and there is a dump station. The bathrooms had flush toilets, were tiled and even had soap dispensers. This is very unusual for a forest service campground. Our rate was with the Senior Pass. We camped at Soldier Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Forest Service Campground with no hookups but you can run the generator except between 10PM and 6AM. At 7200 feet you don't need A/C at night anyway. Lots of space between sites and the camp hosts were fantastic. Walking distance to boat ramp and marina. Strawberry Reservoir is some of the best trout fishing in Utah. The other thing I'd say is that this place had the best dump station setup I've ever seen. Each aisle had two stations. The first had the dump station and a hose of (non-drinkable water) on a tower so you could reach it through the bathroom window to flush the black tank. Worked great. Then you pull up to the next island and there is potable water for filling your freshwater tank. Very nice. We camped at Soldier Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
