This one of those RV parks that if you could rate it solely based on the owner and onsite host you would give it a 10+. The owner is very nice and always responds to your communication and knows the area really well.. The host is very helpful as well. That being said the park itself has little to offer outside of a space with full hookups. The laundry room was closed while we were there because of the fear of the pipes freezing causing you to have to use a public laundromat. The biggest deficit is no WiFi. The pull-thru site we were in is not oriented correctly, there is a really nice mountain view, but because of the placement of the sewer and water connections the rig is facing in wrong way. There is a train that goes by in the morning and evening around 11pm. You can hear the freeway noise but it is quiet at night. We will stay there again. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access to a relatively small but neat campground. There are several permanent sites but all are neat and clean. Residents are friendly and we enjoyed our stay here. The train track above the campground and across the road is pretty quiet...no whistles going through Helper. Use the alternate exit when you pull out, makes the exit much easier. The owner is a school teacher and she is not on site until later in the day during the week while school is open. Sites are a little narrow but long enough for fifth wheel and tow vehicle, rock and gravel. This was a quiet and relaxing stop and we would return if in the area. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Helper is a small farm community. There are a couple good places to eat and shop for groceries. Local law enforcement monitors traffic on the highway for speed.

This was a midpoint overnight stay and what made the place a good stop was the service by the owner and the location. The owner teaches school and therefore there may be a delay in her returning phone calls, but she is very attentive. The park is primarily a permanent/worker park whit a number of older units, but it was quiet and we felt very safe. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight in a pull through spot. There is a train track nearby, but no loud horns just the train passing. Good Verizon service and plenty of OTA TV signals. We would stay here again while passing through. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Basic park. Lady very nice and helpful that checks you in. Electric was good and good water pressure. Pretty level spots. Spots are narrow with trees to contend with. We had a 38' with tow and that was long enough. Could have problems with other cars getting out. Did not hear a train at all. Not a bad place for overnight. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owner was very very nice. Plenty of room in the back in spot for our 40 footer and car. Beautiful scenery great golf course just across highway. Train track just across road but not loud at all. We stayed for three days would highly recommend if your coming to Helper. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a quick stop over on one's route. It is spacious and very quiet and a level, long pull through. We only plugged in for the night. If in the area again, we would definitely stay again. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK for overnight. Owner allowed us to take two spaces (narrow but long) as a pull-through when we called. 30 amp power, water, sewer all OK. Rooftop dish worked and so did Verizon cell and hotspot. VERY basic CG. All dirt/gravel. Long term residents with "stuff" scattered around, our neighbor was friendly, didn't see other one. Train tracks across the street but I enjoyed watching several go by on the grade using 6 engines. No office, owner stopped by for payment, friendly with info on the area. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mom and Pop site. Owners were out doing cleanup and maintenance when I arrived and were very helpful in getting set-up and with local information. Laundry on site, grocery and fuel close - even a local WalMart. No restrooms or showers that I saw but I have my own. Sites are gravel and fairly level and good hook-ups. Several permanent locals and not a very 'pretty' place but served it's purpose as a home base for a few days. There are trees but no real 'shade' and train does go by but not at night. If you need a 'stop over' or going to historic Helper or to see petroglyphs this place works well. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a simple, no-frills park in a rural setting with full hookups. The owner and campground manager are very friendly and made sure we were settled in and hooked up before wanting payment. There are no facilities so you need to be self-contained to stay here. It is a good base for exploring the area; especially, the historic town of Helper and the nearby Nine Mile Canyon petroglyphs and pictographs. We were told this is a popular park for those wanting to use the local golf course during the summer season. We would stay here again. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a bare-bones RV park. There are no facilities such as bathrooms, showers or laundry., but just a basic place to hook up. The sites are level, with a decent amount of space between them. the hook-ups are conveniently located and work with no problems. We had no problem getting satellite. The owner is friendly and helpful. The park has mostly semi-permanent residents and is in a rural setting and in an interesting area. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

We called at 9 p.m. and a very pleasant woman (turns out she's the owner), answered. We asked if they had sites available for the night and she said yes, and to call her when we get close. We said, but we won't be there until midnight. She said "No problem, I live 3 miles away and I'll come meet you." I thought that sounded crazy, but we needed somewhere to stop Memorial day weekend. We called around 11 and said we were close. I passed the park entrance the first time, and apparently she saw me pass it and took off following me to let me know. When we got into the park, she wouldn't accept our money until she was sure we had parked OK and everything was hooked up and working. They had full hookups and the site was a pull through. It was only $20. This park may not have many amenities, but the service can't be beat. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
