I'm glad we picked one of their regular sites (vs. a satellite site or a super site) - their cable lineup pretty much covers whatever you might want, and the regular sites have lovely shade trees and grass between sites. The other sites have smaller trees that don't provide shade yet - and they are more expensive. We really liked this cg - very nice sites, nicely maintained, well-organized. Half hour to Zion, about 20 min. to St. George.

Highly recommend side trip to Snow Canyon SP. And just fyi regarding Zion - it's $30 to drive your vehicle in, but there's not too much you can drive to! Unless you're planning on doing the drive to/towards the east entrance, I'd recommend you either get there early (6:30am or earlier) when there's no one manning the entrance station yet and go in for free, or park wherever you can outside the entrance or in Springdale (there are shuttles in Springdale to take you to the park) and walk in. There's a pedestrian bridge into the park that crosses the river, and that fee is $15. Once in the park, the shuttles are pretty much THE way to get around, and they run so frequently, it's not a problem. The last recommendation is for the Hurricane dog park! Since this cg doesn't really have a dog park (there is a enclosed space behind the office which is not bad for a quick stop but not really good for serious dog play...), I want to let folks know that the city has a really good dog park! It's near intersection of N 200 W and W 600 N. Continuing on N 200 W, turn left on first small street past intersection and continue to end. There are two giant fenced-in parks, one with grass and the other with more wild vegetation that's fun for the dogs to explore. Just watch your step - we discovered that not everyone who goes is good about picking up when their dog goes! And bring water (and a bowl), as there is none provided. Just part of a larger city park complex there. (would've put this in "tip" section but not enough room allowed) We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved pads with grass between sites. Trees needed to be trimmed but all 4 slides were out. Tailgater satellite worked great as did WiFi. Close to Zion and St. George. Friendly staff. Only negative--and it's small--no hooks for clothes in showers. Would definitely stay again. We were in a 37' RV. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Zion, Sky Mountain Golf, virgin river bike trails in St. George.

Well-organized and beautifully maintained park. Sites are a bit close but are shaded and level concrete with grass in between. Wi-Fi worked most of the time and the cable TV was excellent. Laundry small but clean. They even have a dog washing facility! Would definitely return if in the area. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hurricane has a big shopping area.

We stayed here in Sept 2015 we had an excellent pull through site with almost total shade. All hookups worked well no issues we had grass and some dirt which turned muddy as they water each night. Sites are a little close but not bad. Staff very friendly but there are lots of rules; nothing that can't easily be lived with. Cable was good WiFi not so much. No longer has a pet area. Very nice place overall, we will return. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many shops and places to eat in the area there is a Camping World in St George about 20 miles away which was handy as we needed parts for minor repairs.

Before we left the registration desk we had to sign our initials on three separate pages of rules and regulations. When we asked about the gym she whipped out another form for us to fill out. We felt that was a bit excessive.

We went to the club house in the evening only to find that it was closed. Apparently management locks the clubhouse when they leave at 5 PM. The campground has a nice clubhouse, too bad we can't use it in the evenings.

All of the interior roads were on asphalt and the sites were on concrete. All of the sites had FHU however the location of the utilities varied depending upon the site. This campground started as a mobile home that turned into a RV park back in late 80's.

Most of the sites had 30/50 amp electrical service and some of these boxes were about 2 feet from the ground. On our site, the cut off switch for the electricity was not in this box. It was located in the back. The electrical voltage was OK - hovering around 119.

The sites were fairly level. The entire campground was well maintained excepted for the trees that needed trimming. The pricing structure varied upon the type of site (treed, pull-thru or satellite friendly).

Verizon air card and cell phone reception was good. This campground had free WiFi but we did not use it.

There were two bath houses with showers. Both were clean and attractive. The laundry room contains (4) washers @ $2 and (4) dryers @ $1 for 30 minutes. The bathrooms and laundry had the same key-pad code. The gym also had a key-pass code but was not the same as the laundry and bathroom.

It was very quiet at night. This is not a bad campground to visit St. George or Zion. We would come back to this campground if we were in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had never been to park, just read reviews, when we got there decided to stay a week as there was lots to see in area. Park is very clean, and well taken of. Sites have large trees needed since it was hot. Very friendly long term people who have well cared for sites. Fitness center, laundry, most things needed. Can walk to grocery, drug store, all close. Nice town, nice people. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Have a Walmart, several grocery stores, reasonable priced theater.

Rate reflects monthly price, not counting electric. This is a very nice campground. We were here 5 years ago and it has gotten even better. There is a new office/laundry/showers building and the old laundry/shower building is being refurbished. Everything is clean and the grounds are meticulously kept. The staff is very courteous and helpful. There are lots of shade trees. The park is in town but very quiet. Groceries, restaurants, post office are all within walking distance. St. George is a short drive with excellent shopping and restaurants. We stayed in one of their "super sites" which are very spacious with a concrete pad and patio. Wifi was a bit slow when the park was full so we used our Verizon mifi most of the time. They had good cable. We will stay here again when visiting relatives in the area. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in site #120, which was perfect. Most sites have trees on both sides of the site with plenty of shade. The trees are trimmed high enough that they don't scratch the RVs, and the concrete pads have enough room for a sitting area outside your coach. They are in the process of updating a second bathroom and shower building. The grounds are grassy and well maintained. It is a beautiful, quiet park in the midst of awesome sceneries. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Zion for a tour of the park, AND in driving range to the best bakery we have tried in a long time, Croshaw's Gourmet Pies in St. George. We highly recommend the pecan pie. The crusts are very light and flaky. A great assortment of pies, from pot pies to dessert pies.

Beautiful well maintained grounds. All concrete parking pads that were very close to level. Cable TV is excellent. Internet did not work. Friendly staff. No tables at the sites. Many of the sites are well shaded but you will need reservations pretty far in advance for those. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Zion National Park is a few minutes away.

One of the most beautiful parks we have ever encountered. Office staff were of great assistance . Both staffers were knowledgeable of what our needs were and both gave us great advice on the area. Would highly recommend this park to any visitors to the area. Wifi was much better than most campgrounds and facilities were excellent. Clean, updated and readily accessible. One of the nicest places we have stayed. Excellent layout, easy in and out. Good cable TV, good WiFi, good laundry and great showers. We plan to return in July.

About the only drawback is lack of a dog park. Everyone seems to be pet-friendly, but dogs will need to be walked in the adjoining neighborhood if they need much exercise. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hurricane is a nice town with all the services we needed. The Post Office and supermarket are across the street. A Walmart supercenter is about 5 miles away. Zion National Park is roughly 25 miles away. Pay $10 to park at the Zion visitor center, or park on the road and ride the shuttles to the visitor center to catch the tram into the Park.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend when all the Zion NP area campgrounds were bursting at the seams. This park filled completely, with tents set up on the grass around the clubhouse, ATVs parked along the park roads, and kids on bicycles everywhere. It didn't help that the restroom/shower building was being rebuilt and construction materials and equipment filled several sites. But we knew we would face crowds and this was the best available RV space, with FHU sites and a clean, well-maintained laundry room. We might stay here again, but never in summer! We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park with paved, level pads for parking your RV. If you need satellite make sure you reserve a satellite friendly site. They provide a very large cable selection. Very few pull thru's. many snowbirds. Internet is spotty but good enough for email. The three page list of rules and regulations seems excessive but most campers should be able to abide by the rules. We were a group of ten RV's but due to some problem with staff turnover we were not able to be assigned close spaces. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our pre assigned spot was not vacated, so we had to go to a smaller spot. Much more difficult to back into, but concrete pad, grass, around it! Very pretty and clean park, close to town, you can walk to some places. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good place to eat in the shopping area behind the park. Unfortunately , I can't remember the name.
