This is a nice park. Lots of shade trees, so if you want satellite make sure you reserve a site that has a view of the southern sky. They know which ones they are and they are noted on there map. They have cable but you have to put $150.00 deposit on a box to get it. We had a satellite site. What was a disappointment was the management. When we made the reservation a week earlier they didn't tell that our site was next to some construction they were doing in the park, so for the full week we were subjected to noise and dust. Also the first night we were there a water main broke next to our site and flooded our night. First we couldn't find any management or security to report the problem, finally dialed 911 and they sent the city out and they finally found someone. We were up until 5am with people trying to fix the water leak. Not one word of sorry about keeping us up all night. Later in the week they turned the water off for the whole park and didn't notify anyone. I know things happen but the management basically gave the impression of oh well too bad. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

At checkin I was put off - first thing I was handed was 4 pages of rules and was told they wanted to make sure I behaved. First day WiFi wouldn't work. I was pretty much believing I was going to not go for the park - I was totally wrong. The place is spotless, how many parks have a street sweeper. Trees galore and the sites are concrete and very wide and level. Gas fire pits in 3 locations and the club house is the best I've seen. WiFi was fixed the second day and worked well. This is one nice place and we will be staying again. Except for the 4 pages of rules I would give this park a 10. Just goes to show one can be totally wrong about first impressions. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park. It may be the best in the area, but there were a couple of issues.

We don't have dogs, so the constant dog barking was annoying here. It seems everyone, except us, has at least two dogs and while walking them around the campground all of the other dogs have to greet them by barking.

The park is shady and we had a grassy area next to our trailer, but no picnic table. I saw a table or two here and there, so I called the office to ask if there was one available we could borrow, but there was not, so we ate inside.

As you enter there is a huge dip in the road and I mean huge. Be careful. The speed limit is 11, but it's not possible to go that fast through the park, which may be a good thing as long as you have everything fastened down.

There is a 30 day no refund policy. That's is a bit strict. I don't ever recall staying in another park anywhere that was quite that strict.

I would recommend the park, but watch the dip, bring ear plugs if dog barking bothers you and bring a table if you want to eat outside. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park for our month long stay to explore the area. Per day price based on $395 monthly fee. We also paid about $66 for electricity used. We rate this as one of the best parks we have stayed at. Very neat and clean. They were working on the back section of the park but it did not bother us. Some work on a site near us but that should be expected if they are to keep a park in this good of condition. Don't let its location in town keep you from using this park. There was no city noise or traffic issues and there is a grocery store and fast food within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited Zion, North rim Grand Canyon, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, lake Powel, Kolob Canyon and other scenic locations in the area. Especially liked hiking the Narows in Zion. Also short drive to Mesquite NV if you like the casinos and there is great shopping in St George.

Good: Lots of trees and shade, concrete pads, no dust. Bad: Sites very close together. $125 deposit for cable TV box, very inconvenient. Wifi is pitiful and unreliable. 4 pages of rules and requirement for full payment on reservation...would indicate this park is more interested in profit than customer service. No picnic table. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park with a lot of trees and grass. spaces are small and close together. Tons of rules and dogs were always baking. No picnic tables and the wifi was not usable. Couldn't use our satellite dish because of the trees and the park wanted $125 for a cable box so we watched a movie. Overall it was a nice park but I'll pass next time. Pretty, clean park with paved roads, concrete pads. There are both shady and sunny sites. Quiet location on edge of a neighborhood. Zion NP is about 40 mins away. St. George shopping and dining are about 30 mins away. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

This place is immaculate. Very well taken care of! Very quiet at night. great trees for shade. For adults this is a real nice place however I wouldn't recommend for those that have children as there would be nothing for them to do. For adults its pretty ideal. I would give it a ten but no swimming pool keeps me from doing it. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. Good location for day trips to Zion Canyon National Park, Kolob, and St. George. No pool or other activities. We requested a shady site and assigned a pull thru site, paid a little more. These sites do have have more shade although most sites have trees except the satillite sites which are considered the super sites. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site I was given (111) was a concrete Pull-Thru, FHU, w/cable & good wi-fi. It was plenty big enough for my 42' 5th wheel with easy in/out. More than likely you will have to use their cable and not your dish because of all the trees. Park is very well kept and everything is neat & clean. Would definitely come again! We stayed for a few days to visit Zion NP. The park is right in town within walking distance of a grocery store and Walgreens. The sites are heavily treed, which would make it great in hot weather, but bad if you wanted to use your satellite. There is cable available. there are also satellite sites (no trees). There are some permanent residents in the park. New owners purchased the place and the residents were grandfathered in.

The park advertises that they have a dog park and a run by a creek. When we visited the creek was a weed-choked ditch, and the dog park area has been torn out to make new sites. There is a dog run behind the front office which is adequate for potty stops. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Dogs aren't allowed in any of the NPS. The Doggy Dude Ranch just outside of Springdale (on the way to Zion) is a great place to put your dogs for the day. Two dogs cost $37.00 for the day.

Good burgers at the Main Street Cafe.

First of all beware there is construction going on at the back of the cg. We had site 159 and all the activity was right at the tail of the RV (back-in site). Began at 7:15 am & went until 7:00 at night. Was not told this until we checked in, thus the average rating. Should Definitely be giving discounts for those that are placed over there. Also for the price, they should provide a picnic table which they do not.

That said, after staying in Moab & Bryce Canyon it was nice getting to a park with paved roads & concrete pads with a little grass. Best wifi we've ever had as well.

Nice clean park with wide paved interior roads. Across the street to grocery store, post office and nearby to movie theater along with many chain restaurants.

About 30 min to Zion on highway type road.

If you call to reserve, make sure you ask not to be placed near construction. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely campground to stay in while visiting Zion Natl Park and the area. The sites are large enough and very well maintained. Level concrete pads each with an area of grass and shade trees. Very clean. Good wifi and cable. Great water pressure. Very nice staff all around. When we pulled into our site some tree limbs were scraping the top of the RV so the maintenance man came over immediately and took off the limbs.

The shade trees are great as it's hot here! While driving around I noticed that not all of the area campgrounds have trees so it's a plus. Keeps your site and RV nice and cool in the heat of the day.

There is also a very nice club house which includes a large book swap library, and a pool table that can be converted to ping pong. Everyone here seems to have a dog . There is a dog run behind the office with waste bags available. Also, they offer a dog washing area which I used today ... hot and cold water and a basin to put your dog in while washing them. Perfect!

Very near a large grocery store, restaurants and hair / nail salons.

Definitely more of an adult campground than for children. No pool which would be great in this hot weather but water must be expensive here.

We would come here again .... definitely convenient - about 30 minutes to Zion- and the town of St. George, which is interesting, is only 20 - 25 minutes away.

Great Value!!!

I read a review which mentioned a "hellacious" speed bump in the entrance area ... it is acutally a water drainage trough. There are flash floods in this area and the trough will divert water in case of severe rain. Just drive slowly and you won't have a problem. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Zion Natl Park is a must see. There are parking restrictions but look on the park website regarding that.

St. George is a fun city with shops, restaurants and a museum. Don't go on a Sunday as most everything is closed. We had brunch at GEORGE'S CORNER - very cute, fun and really good food. Great service.

This is a beautiful park but with a few problems. The internet was terrible. Could never get a connection unless I went to the office. Office personnel really didn't care. They are adding on to park and every day it was very loud with workers and equipment. Our space was along main road. Was very loud day and night. Showers were so far away we had to drive to them. No picnic table or fire pit. We were parked on dead end and everyone turned around in front of our space. We wouldn't stay here again. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Immaculate! Nothing better. Oasis in the desert, with many. many mature trees that make a canopy to cover your rig and site. Level, concrete pads. Easy access and plenty of parking for my F250. Only complaint: Water was hard to reach via the ground faucet. Park even has a dog wash station. Pristine bathhouse/restrooms. Grounds are tidy and well maintained. Superb CATV and wi-fi. Easy access to town, eateries, Walmart, gas, etc. Best access point to Zion NP. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
