This seems to be a park primarily for seasonal or longer term campers. We opted to stay in a satellite-friendly site (no shade), so we could be near the dog walking area. The site was level and nicely spaced. The dog walking area was 8 - 10 foot wide elevated packed dirt with overgrown trees, no enclosure, and a lower border of rocks. There is also an enclosed area behind the office, long and narrow with rock footing. The dog washing station was barely large enough for my small corgi. There are actually 3 entrances to the park, two for vehicles and one behind one of the sites where people can (and do) walk in off the street. None of the sites had picnic tables; this was a first for us. The park is well-kept, the wifi worked, and we had good Verizon service. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

We reserved this park for 6 nights knowing we would be touring the area. The office closes at 5 PM. We arrived at 5:10 PM and found directions to our site taped on the door. The next day we noticed a strong sewer odor upon checking we noticed our rig was sitting over a sewer manhole cover. I requested to be moved but was told nothing was available. Throughout our stay there were several open sites. The WiFi is limited to 2 devices and the signal is very poor. We will not be returning to Willowind. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

This may be the best RV Park at which we've stayed. The most impressive feature is the trees. Our site was completely shaded by trees...so much so that I actually slept until 8:45am...a feat for me, since I'm usually awakened by first light. It's off the beaten path, but so wonderfully walking distance to McDonald's, Wendy's, grocery stores, etc. Excellent home base for seeing Zion, Grand Canyon, and others. We found a doggy day care right down the street that charged only a small hourly rate. Don't miss this park. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

If traveling with pets, and you want a break, "On the Spot" drop in daycare was great and super inexpensive. Took our dogs three days in a row.

This is not just any campground, this is a resort. Each site, except along the back row has grass and trees, and each are kept watered and manicured very nicely. An exceptional location in town, with paved streets and concrete parking. You can make this a destination "home" for all the national parks and sight seeing and actually feel good about going back "home" at the end of the day. This is the second best park I have had the pleasure of staying in. There are gas fire pits around the park to keep warm on those chilly nights and a doggie bath station for small to medium sized furry friends. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

enjoyed the proximity to Zion, Bryce, St. George for an outdoor theatre production of Disney's Newsies, and the bakery just down the main drag for great cinnamon rolls.

We were on the road for 3 weeks and this resort was in the top 3. We were driving through an "excessive heat" advisory for 3 days, and most of the RV parks had zero shade, dust, stickers, & poor reviews. Basically parking lots. WillowWind was like an oasis! We chose a shaded, pull-thru site so we didn't have to unhook the toad. The site was within 1.25" of being level, pad was concrete and our dogs appreciated the nice, thick patch of grass. Water spigot was in a valve box which took me a minute to figure out. While most sites are shaded, there is an area of satellite friendly sites. We and most others opted for shade this time of year. A few full-timers. The bathroom was immaculate, so much so that I took a shower in it, rather than use the shower in our RV. It was heaven! There is a dog wash, fitness center, laundry, tent sites, dog park area, clubhouse with kitchen, and group area. The interior roads are easy to navigate and sites clearly marked. The man next to us, with his slick 4 horse trailer/5th wheel, said he and his family always here whenever traveling through the area from Phoenix. Very friendly folks. Quiet campground. There are services...fuel, restaurants, grocery, etc within a 1/4 mile from the entrance. We overnight in WalMart parking lots, State Parks, Independent Parks, etc...different type places. If you are looking for a resort type campground...that is extremely well maintained, shady, level, safe and has plenty of services , I highly recommend WillowWind. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park lots of shade. The power was constant and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The bad thing is they collect for all nights you are staying up front and there is a 30 day cancellation policy. I don't mind loosing one night but 5 nights is a little tough. A lot of things can happen in 30 days and it did to us but fortunately we were able to move our reservations out a week and for that reason most likely wont stay there again. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We love Willowwind! THis is a great campground and close to the beautiful parks! The best part is most of the park has SHADE and that is a welcome relief in the desert. Our only comment is to park carefully and check your slides before you unhook ( you have to keep an eye on the electrical and trees). It's quiet and pleasant! We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful RV Park. Many spots in the shade trees. Most spots are shaded. They also have satellite friendly sites that appear quite nice. Our site was a bit narrow and the pad concrete was broken up a bit. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

I agree this is a very nice park. Pull through sites were concrete and level. There are good paved roads throughout the park. However there are two entrances so there is little security. The office, laundry room and common building are good looking log construction. The park is heavily booked. Large trees provide shade and protection from the wind which was strong the whole five days of our stay. This park is my first choice in Hurricane for a Spring or Summer stay due to the protection the trees provide. The $40 a night price is a value in the area considering 2-star motels rent for $200 a night this time of year. The list of rules is long but they are all reasonable. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Note: the rate shown is the daily portion of the monthly rate of $455 (+metered electric) This is a beautiful, immaculate park in Hurricane, UT, which is convenient to both Zion NP and St. George. You can literally walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, post office, and nearby restaurants from here. Utilities work well, and satellite-friendly sites are available. WiFi is extremely good here. Highly recommend! We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Price reflects weekly rate. Our third stay here. Very clean and well-run Park in the pleasant town of Hurricane. Check in was pleasant. Paved and curbed roads lead to concrete shaded sites. Beware the large gutter / dip just past check in! The park also has curious arrow-shaped speed-bumps. Strong and fast (8 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up) WiFi. Good digital Cable TV. Water pressure seemed lower than average. Showers and restrooms spotless. Laundry worked well. Pleasant outdoor gas fire ring outside central camp building a plus. Park is extremely quiet, with most folks visiting the Zion area for extended periods. Grounds are spotless and well maintained, grass is mowed and edged, there is not a speck of trash anywhere. Small dog park behind office is convenient, there is a larger walk area at the rear as well. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed at this park 4-5 times, length of visits from a week to a month. The speed bumps are abusive! Staff capable; some can be snarky. Most sites shaded, well cared for, grassy yards. Newer CLEAN laundry rooms. Rec. building s0-s0. Access to grocery shopping is good; other facilities/services in St. George 15 miles distant. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with grassy areas at most sites except for some of the newer ones in the back. I would have given it a 10, but I don't understand their policy of not accepting mail or packages sent to the park. They did accommodate me because I practically begged them, since we were getting passports, and a check, but I have never had a problem getting things delivered in all the years I have been traveling. Tips for other Campers:

JB Diner is a reasonably priced place to eat. Lin's grocery store is right across the street. Go to Kolob Canyon if you have time. No lines, Taylor Creek Trail is awesome there. If you have a national pass, stay in the right lane at the entry gate to buzz thru, once you get to that point. Another fun hike was Kananaras Falls. You have to cross a very cold actively running stream, so be prepared!

Clean facility, wide roads, good power and water. Asked for a satellite friendly site, & was told ours was. Got to the site and had to trim the tree. Close to Zion park. Paved roads and site pads. Our truck was half on our site and half in the road. For 40 rigs or longer, parking is a challenge. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
