Rate is monthly plus electric. Asphalt roads with concrete pads. Most sites had grass between sites and lots of shade trees. Good cable and WIFI. In town within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. Easy access and short distance to Zion. We liked this park and will return. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our first stay, but we will be sure to return if we are in the area. The park is spotless and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The park is covered with large mature trees, so there are few satellite friendly spots but the cable and local TV are good as is the wifi. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The park is easy to reach from the main street through Hurricane and it is close to conveniences and is only 18 miles from St. George Utah. The park has nice spaces that are large enough so that you don't feel crammed against your neighbor. Most have trees and green grass, but there are some without tall trees in case you want satellite TV access. The WiFi at the park seems good and we had no issues connecting and maintaining signal. The only drawback is that they limit each space to two devices for connection so you have to always disconnect to accommodate other devices. That wasn't a big deal. We would recommend this park if you are in Southern Utah as a great base for touring the national parks and all that this area has to offer. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautifully maintained park in the small town of Hurricane which is about a 20-minute drive from Zion National Park. We had a paved, mostly level super site which was a back in with a good sized grass area on both sides of the unit. All sites seem to be well shaded with mature cottonwood trees. Electric tower was at the back of the site. It was easily accessed with steady power. Sewer and water were mid coach. Water pressure read 90s per our gauge. Cable TV provided was very good as well as both AT&T and Verizon service. We did not use their internet however were allotted hours per day without charge. There are no individual fire pits but there is a large group gas fire pit by the central wash station. The dog walk is a small section of dirt along the back of the park and is unfenced. Walking on the access street was easy as there was a sidewalk. Traffic noise was minimal even though it is about a block off of the main road. There is a grocery store and a CVS Pharmacy within walking distance. Reservations seem to be required in this area as it is very popular. Many of the units within the park seem to be longer term rentals but everything was clean and neat. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Zion National Park was about a 20-minute drive through beautiful scenery. Plan on arriving at the park before 9 a.m. to get in park parking. The Zion Lodge had a reasonably priced excellent breakfast buffet. Drive to Kolob Canyon section of Zion as it is outstanding and about 20 minutes drive if you go through La Verkin and Toquerville.

The 2 young ladies in the office made our stay great! The older lady in the office that seems to be in charge isn't very friendly at all. We were wanting to try and extend our stay and without even looking she just kept telling us no because of the games. The next day we went back in and the 2 younger girls were there and after talking to them they were able to accomadate us for our additional nights. The groundskeeper on the blue golf cart was a joy to visit with and was very helpful with our cable, some branch trimming. It is nice to see him out patroling the park after office hours, it sure makes you feel safe. We would definately stay again but hope that our dealings do not have to be with the older lady in the office, she could use some training on how to talk to people for sure. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This could be an all 10 rv park but first the couple with us could not back into there site because of very low hanging branches. Someone had to come cut limbs to keep from damaging the RV. Almost all the sites are overly shaded, nice but all too low. First of all we were directed the wrong way to our site for the hookups to be on the correct side so after backing up and making a u turn We realized we were given the worst site in the whole park, site 22. This is like a half moon shaped site with a pole on one corner and tree on the other. Have you ever tried to make a 40 ft fifth wheel curve into a half moon shape that you can't pull straight into? Our door opened onto the street and there was no way to hook up the sewer until we were ready to unhook, backup to dump and leave. I will say the park could be absolutely beautiful, great bath/shower rooms, nice place to walk. There are quite a lot of permanent residents there but most sites are well kept. We would have liked to stay more than 2 nights but would not pay that high a price for that site. Only a very small motor home or pop up should be given that site. Would not stay there again. People in office really didn't care either. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We love Willowwind! THis is a great campground and close to the beautiful parks! The best part is most of the park has SHADE and that is a welcome relief in the desert. Our only comment is to park carefully and check your slides before you unhook ( you have to keep an eye on the electrical and trees). It's quiet and pleasant! Nice park lots of shade. The power was constant and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The bad thing is they collect for all nights you are staying up front and there is a 30 day cancellation policy. I don't mind loosing one night but 5 nights is a little tough. A lot of things can happen in 30 days and it did to us but fortunately we were able to move our reservations out a week and for that reason most likely wont stay there again. Clean facility, wide roads, good power and water. Asked for a satellite friendly site, & was told ours was. Got to the site and had to trim the tree. Close to Zion park. Paved roads and site pads. Our truck was half on our site and half in the road. For 40 rigs or longer, parking is a challenge. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicest RV parks I have stayed at. Bathrooms are really nice and the sites are really wide. WiFi worked well. It would be a ten except that the sites do not have a picnic table ,my site was next to the road which can get noisy and cancellation policy is a bit severe. It has one of the nicest rec room I have seen. A lot of long term residents, but all sites are clean and everybody friendly. We would definitely stay there again. Very nice park for our month long stay to explore the area. Per day price based on $395 monthly fee. We also paid about $66 for electricity used. We rate this as one of the best parks we have stayed at. Very neat and clean. They were working on the back section of the park but it did not bother us. Some work on a site near us but that should be expected if they are to keep a park in this good of condition. Don't let its location in town keep you from using this park. There was no city noise or traffic issues and there is a grocery store and fast food within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. We visited Zion, North rim Grand Canyon, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, lake Powel, Kolob Canyon and other scenic locations in the area. Especially liked hiking the Narows in Zion. Also short drive to Mesquite NV if you like the casinos and there is great shopping in St George.

This is a nice park. It may be the best in the area, but there were a couple of issues.

We don't have dogs, so the constant dog barking was annoying here. It seems everyone, except us, has at least two dogs and while walking them around the campground all of the other dogs have to greet them by barking.

The park is shady and we had a grassy area next to our trailer, but no picnic table. I saw a table or two here and there, so I called the office to ask if there was one available we could borrow, but there was not, so we ate inside.

As you enter there is a huge dip in the road and I mean huge. Be careful. The speed limit is 11, but it's not possible to go that fast through the park, which may be a good thing as long as you have everything fastened down.

There is a 30 day no refund policy. That's is a bit strict. I don't ever recall staying in another park anywhere that was quite that strict.

I would recommend the park, but watch the dip, bring ear plugs if dog barking bothers you and bring a table if you want to eat outside. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Site I was given (111) was a concrete Pull-Thru, FHU, w/cable & good wi-fi. It was plenty big enough for my 42' 5th wheel with easy in/out. More than likely you will have to use their cable and not your dish because of all the trees. Park is very well kept and everything is neat & clean. Would definitely come again!
