We have been coming to Cedar City for many years now. Discovered this quaint little RV park 10 miles south just off of I-15 on old Hwy 91, and thought we'd try it because the prices of RV parks in Cedar City are now ridiculous. Kanarraville is a pretty little farming community township. This is a small park, only 22 RV sites, on grass and gravel. Tent camping is allowed also. Park is owned and operated by a very nice woman. She is very helpful and is as accommodating as possible given the limited space she has to work with. There are a few 50 amp pull-through spaces, lots of 30 amp as well. All sites are either gravel or grass and all are level. A little dusty but not bad. This RV park is kept clean and tidy and has shade trees. Restrooms and showers are good, as is the water. Power good with one exception. Pets are welcome. RV office has ice. This RV park is very near the trail head to Kanarra Creek Falls slot canyon. The hike there is definitely something you want to do (Google it). Not a super-easy hike but not hard either, although I wouldn't recommend it for very small children or those with walking difficulties. A lot of it is in the ankle to knee-deep creek itself so prepare shoes to get wet. About 4 hours round trip and walking sticks help. Zion 60 min, Bryce Canyon 90 min, north rim of Grand Canyon 3 hrs. Good trout fishing in all of southern UT. ATV country also. All in all we were very pleased with our five week stay in our 40 ft rig. (Great motorcycle area.) We will come back again next year. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Alcohol is state controlled in UT, prices high and hours limited. Stock up in Mesquite NV. Napa and Ace Hardware in Cedar City have limited RV repair supplies. Camping World 35 miles south in St. George has more if needed. Try "The Grind" coffee house on main for you coffee. Way better than Starbucks.

We needed somewhere with electricity to escape the heat and this place was VERY affordable. We didn't have a booking so we had to take what they had. We were in the main park. The site we had was VERY small. We don't have slideouts and we are only 22 ft. Once the RVs either side of us put their slideouts out, we could NOT walk up beside our motorhome or even open the driver's door :( There was no way we could put our awning out. The Wi-Fi was adequate and the laundry is cheap, good and clean. They have numerous outdoor areas and a hot tub. The owner is a lovely lady. The only negative? The power kept popping in the park as everyone was running their air conditioners due to the heat but the owner was on top of this every time it happened. We didn't like the water here, it left a horrible ring in our kettle so we avoided using it for coffee but it was fine for showering and dishes. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Owner is delightful and very helpful as is host. Hot tub was a bonus. Laundry was fabulous and reasonable. Whitest and best color clothes I've had in a while. Quiet, convenient from I-15 ... highly recommend. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a park in a small town and is in a convenient location to visit the Northern part of Zion National Park and the Cedar Breaks. The camp is clean and neat, and the park is well maintained. All the hook-ups worked well with no problems. The management is pleasant and helpful. The sites in the park are for the most part fairly close together, but not close enough to be a problem for a short stay. The Passport price reflects a one-week stay. The Wi-Fi is problematic - excellent at times and completely unavailable at other times. We would stay at this park again. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We got the best spot in the place, on grass so our rig stayed clean inside. This park is located in a little Mormon farming town. There is a large LDS church, town offices and park right across the street which was really convenient when walking the dog. Gail is the owner and she is real nice and helpful. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night to hike in area. There were two of us and we were put in a cabin that slept 4. Cabin very small, not much room to walk. It was set up to be organized, hooks and shelves. had electricity, include fan and tiny TV . yard is very beautiful and nicely landscaped, a few seating areas for guests. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Cabin.

Peaceful, quiet, friendly, small resort. This would be my choice anytime I travel through this area, and need to stay overnight or a few days. Only drawback is there is no cable TV, but if that doesn't matter, this RV park gets an excellent rating from me. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a hidden jewel. Traveling the NW from South Carolina to this location I would rate this as THE BEST camp that we were in. The facilities were the best. Like being at home. There was a hot tub, gas BBQ grill, tastefully decorated patio and a view of the mountains. The location is well off the freeway and is VERY quiet. Kanaraville is a small community with little road traffic. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bryce Canyon and Zion are easily reached from here. There is a waterfall that is about a 2 1/2 mile hike. We did not go to the fall but were told that it is very beautiful. Wading in a stream to reach the fall is required. This RV park has my highest recommendation. You won't be sorry that you stayed here.

We had to unhook tow, do a u-turn in the street and back in from the street into our site which was next to a long long long ago abandoned RV and a trailer with 6 ATVs and all kinds of junk underneath. Our water hook up was under their picnic table but we used extra hose to hook up elsewhere. The only reason we stayed was because of the price. I will say the owners were nice and the park is close to Cedar City and the Kolb Canyon area of Zion. Would not stay again unless guaranteed a spot in the actual park and not in the storage area. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We made reservations fortunately as park filled up shortly after we arrive. We chose this park as an economical, centrally located park for seeing both Zion and Bryce canyon without moving. We had to unhook and do a U-turn at the intersection to get in with a little repositioning but not a problem for me in our 40' RV. A less experienced driver may have had trouble getting in to this spot which was designated for MHs not 5th wheels. The other spots were used for 5th wheels with no trouble entering or leaving. We liked our spot with trees and big grassy area beside it with a hammock hung between trees. FHUs, small but nice RV Park. We never use parks bathrooms or laundry so can not report on them. Management was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owner was a wonderful joy to have met. Lots of knowledge, and great fun and brought my wife flowers. I cant say enough good things about this campground. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We spent 3 weeks here, and will stay when ever we pass through, again. No one should find fault with this campground. Thanks to the owner for a truly wonderful time. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Escapees rate. Pull-throughs only for motorhomes. We have 30 ft., and backing in was tight but doable. Very, very quiet. Great small park. Could double it's size and still fill up! This park packs them in. (Looked as though 5 permanent residents off to the side.) The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would strongly suggested a reservation. We had one and she turned three people away while we were checking in. She's a wealth of local knowledge. Great DVD rentals for $1. Make sure to hike Kanarraville Falls in town- just walk there and don't pay the $10 to park. A must see- Kolob Canyon- $25 entrance fee good for a week, one exit down. Gorgeous 5 mile and 14 mile hikes. Also, Canyon Breaks (Cedar City exit) worth the drive. We saw the beautiful fall colors. Bathrooms/laundry could use an update, but clean. Wi-Fi was fair. Verizon LTE OK. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects Passport America including taxes. Owner/manager is outstanding and is a wealth of information about the local area. Good 50 amp service and water pressure. Very tight spaces but OK for us. Very quiet and the park doesn't have a lot of lights, which is another thing we like. Laundry room was great. Did not use the other facilities. We will return! Off the interstate a short distance. Clean, quiet, and friendly. A great place to relax and enjoy the country quiet. This park can accommodate tents as well as big rigs, although the pull-through pads are bit close together when the park is full. We stayed here a week while visiting nearby attractions. Inquire about Escapee and PA member discounts. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.
