We arrived at the park at 1 am after driving from Las Vegas. Of course, it was dead quiet and we were afraid of waking the others up. The park is small and compact. There were a few long term residents. We had a pull through and it was close to our neighbor. But the space was long enough for a camper and a vehicle. The bathroom and showers were clean. There was an outdoor game room area with benches next to the office. We didn't see the owner the following morning because it was Sunday, but she was very nice on the phone. Overall, a good stay. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Loved this campground. The sites are very close together, but we were just there to sleep. The owner is great. The entire place is immaculate. Two different patios with comfortable chairs. The bathrooms and laundry room were super clean. We wanted to stay longer to just relax and enjoy the people, but they didn't have any extra days available. Very peaceful setting. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Red Ledge is a small, quiet, peaceful RV and Tent campground located in Kanarraville off I-15 10 miles S of Cedar City. K'ville is a small agricultural community located on old SR 91. The park is small but clean and well kept. No amenities. No cable TV. Showers and bathrooms kept up well. Small Laundry. Most folks come here to hike the famous Kanarra Creek Falls (trail head right down the street) Sites are level gravel, some grass and trees for shade, with both 50 and 30 amp available. Water/sewer is good. No shopping. One burger shack with limited hours. CC shopping and eating 10 miles. St George is 40 min. Zion is an hour, Bryce is 1.5 hours. N rim of Grand Canyon is 3.5 hours. Las Vegas 3 hours. Owner Gayle is nice and very helpful. Office has ice. Internet is good. Regular OTA TV signal and sat depends on site. We stay the entire summer in 32 ft 5ver. Has 4-6 sites than can accommodate big rigs. Summer weather is usually great. Daytime Temps range mid 70's to low 90's. Nights usually in 60's. Elev 5400 ft. Utah ATV friendly and many trails. Good fishing. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great little campground. The lady who runs it keeps it in great shape. The sites are a little tight, but there are covered patios and seating provided. There are pretty garden and a coy fountain to look at. The CG provided gas grills for you to use. There were games like darts and foos ball to play. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pros: I love this little rv park. This is the second time that I have stayed here. It is centrally located to several great places to see and close to Cedar City. FHUs, level pull-through gravel sites with trees help protect from wind. Very clean and well kept. Central gas grill, picnic tables and fire pit available for use. Oleasant and helpful owner. Passport America accepted. Cons: Sites are close to each other. 50 amp service was improperly wired at my site so only 30 amp but owner let me plug into an adjoining site and said she would have an electrician fix the issue. Wifi worked but was cut off often. I would stay here again. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Red Canyon, Cedar Breaks Natl Monument, Kanarra Falls. Even though Cedar Breaks was not open yet (park was snowed in), I went to view point on the edge of park. It is $8 to hike trail to Kanarra Falls but well worth it. It is the most hiked in the river climbing a log to go past 2 of the falls. Some folks may not physically be able to do it but I really enjoyed it.

This is a quaint park, setting on ledge of mountain, with great scenery. (Not hard to get to). Although spaces are tight, owner does a good job of placing you in a site for your rig. I have a 38' 5th wheel, parked on grass with 30 amp. FUP. Prices are reasonable, discount given. ONly 10 or so spaces for overnights and 3 camping cabins. NIce seating area to visit. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small park with lots of long term residents. But the management is great. The three pull throughs can be very tight but they put some very big motorhomes in them. We are small 30 ft plus toad and they put us on the grass where they usually put tent campers. We had full hookups. The town has no services, no gas, no groceries. You will have to drive into Cedar City for anything you need. We stayed there a week because of passport America and visited Bryce and nearby Red Canyon and other sites. It is great for hiking. We would stay there again. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice little RV park. They really only have 6 sites that they use for overnighters, all pull-through's. Very friendly and helpful manager.
A couple of the sites in this park could be impossibly tight depending on how many of the sites are occupied. It would be a good idea to inquire about the site clearance especially if you have a larger rig or slideouts.
The price reflects Full price for the first night,PA discount for the 2nd two nights with an extra $2/night for 50-amp service.
Very good value, we'd stay here again if in the area. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We needed somewhere with electricity to escape the heat and this place was VERY affordable. We didn't have a booking so we had to take what they had. We were in the main park. The site we had was VERY small. We don't have slideouts and we are only 22 ft. Once the RVs either side of us put their slideouts out, we could NOT walk up beside our motorhome or even open the driver's door :( There was no way we could put our awning out. The Wi-Fi was adequate and the laundry is cheap, good and clean. They have numerous outdoor areas and a hot tub. The owner is a lovely lady. The only negative? The power kept popping in the park as everyone was running their air conditioners due to the heat but the owner was on top of this every time it happened. We didn't like the water here, it left a horrible ring in our kettle so we avoided using it for coffee but it was fine for showering and dishes. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been coming to Cedar City for many years now. Discovered this quaint little RV park 10 miles south just off of I-15 on old Hwy 91, and thought we'd try it because the prices of RV parks in Cedar City are now ridiculous. Kanarraville is a pretty little farming community township. This is a small park, only 22 RV sites, on grass and gravel. Tent camping is allowed also. Park is owned and operated by a very nice woman. She is very helpful and is as accommodating as possible given the limited space she has to work with. There are a few 50 amp pull-through spaces, lots of 30 amp as well. All sites are either gravel or grass and all are level. A little dusty but not bad. This RV park is kept clean and tidy and has shade trees. Restrooms and showers are good, as is the water. Power good with one exception. Pets are welcome. RV office has ice. This RV park is very near the trail head to Kanarra Creek Falls slot canyon. The hike there is definitely something you want to do (Google it). Not a super-easy hike but not hard either, although I wouldn't recommend it for very small children or those with walking difficulties. A lot of it is in the ankle to knee-deep creek itself so prepare shoes to get wet. About 4 hours round trip and walking sticks help. Zion 60 min, Bryce Canyon 90 min, north rim of Grand Canyon 3 hrs. Good trout fishing in all of southern UT. ATV country also. All in all we were very pleased with our five week stay in our 40 ft rig. (Great motorcycle area.) We will come back again next year. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Alcohol is state controlled in UT, prices high and hours limited. Stock up in Mesquite NV. Napa and Ace Hardware in Cedar City have limited RV repair supplies. Camping World 35 miles south in St. George has more if needed. Try "The Grind" coffee house on main for you coffee. Way better than Starbucks.

This is a park in a small town and is in a convenient location to visit the Northern part of Zion National Park and the Cedar Breaks. The camp is clean and neat, and the park is well maintained. All the hook-ups worked well with no problems. The management is pleasant and helpful. The sites in the park are for the most part fairly close together, but not close enough to be a problem for a short stay. The Passport price reflects a one-week stay. The Wi-Fi is problematic - excellent at times and completely unavailable at other times. We would stay at this park again. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We got the best spot in the place, on grass so our rig stayed clean inside. This park is located in a little Mormon farming town. There is a large LDS church, town offices and park right across the street which was really convenient when walking the dog. Gail is the owner and she is real nice and helpful. We had to unhook tow, do a u-turn in the street and back in from the street into our site which was next to a long long long ago abandoned RV and a trailer with 6 ATVs and all kinds of junk underneath. Our water hook up was under their picnic table but we used extra hose to hook up elsewhere. The only reason we stayed was because of the price. I will say the owners were nice and the park is close to Cedar City and the Kolb Canyon area of Zion. Would not stay again unless guaranteed a spot in the actual park and not in the storage area. This is a hidden jewel. Traveling the NW from South Carolina to this location I would rate this as THE BEST camp that we were in. The facilities were the best. Like being at home. There was a hot tub, gas BBQ grill, tastefully decorated patio and a view of the mountains. The location is well off the freeway and is VERY quiet. Kanaraville is a small community with little road traffic. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bryce Canyon and Zion are easily reached from here. There is a waterfall that is about a 2 1/2 mile hike. We did not go to the fall but were told that it is very beautiful. Wading in a stream to reach the fall is required. This RV park has my highest recommendation. You won't be sorry that you stayed here.
