Site is free. This is where the ranger station will send you if your combined RV length is over 26 feet, or if the regular campground is full. It's a decommissioned airstrip next to Hwy 95, at MP 87 a few miles outside of the park. There are small Juniper trees, a few fire rings, and a really nice view. You can get up to 5 gallons of water at a time from the ranger station. There is highway noise but it's not a very busy road. - Old Mountain Man

Our family of 6 stayed 4 nights in the family units connected to this little rv park. These are mobile homes with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning, fridge, stove...the works.
We had never traveled to Lake Powell before, so we had no idea what to expect.
I speak for all of us to say we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations.
These units were clean and cool in temps around 105 to 107 during our stay.Bring your own food.
The staff was awesome and we will definitely choose to stay there again.
The boat launch wasn't crowded at all during our weekday stay, and we checked out Bullfrog boat launch, which had a very LONG line. The marina was very nice and they have a store and concessions where we got some ice cream.
We wouldn't want to stay anywhere but Halls Crossing when traveling to that part of Lake Powell. - Leeleestein
