Overall Rating:

The sites are gravel, fairly close together, with a small patch of grass in between. Our row had small trees, offering no shade. We had a pull through site, but just barely had room to park our toad. It's dusty, but they run a water truck through a few times a day to tap it down a bit. The staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived late (8:30), but our paperwork was on the office door and a man in a golf cart led us to our site. The wi-fi was excellent and they had cable TV. It is about a half mile off the main highway, so no highway noise. Hard to walk the dogs because there are lots of sand spurs in the patches of grass. It is very convenient to go into Moab, and into Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Nice RV park outside of town next to the Old Spanish Trail Arena (good place to take a walk with your dogs). FHU with good water quality and electric is good; they offer WiFi and Cable. We got a nice shady spot through some are out in the sun. Gravel pull through with a little grass and a picnic table. They have pull through, back-in and tent sites. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Moab, Utah - of course, there is Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. There are 3 sections to Canyonlands but if you only do one, give extra time for Arches because there is a lot more to see there. Moab Brewery in town has great food and gelato.

This CG is just a few miles south of Moab, so there are lots of places to re-supply, eat and fuel-up. So close to Arches NP and not far from Canyonlands NP, but also nearby is a nice drive up the River Road along the Colorado R to a ranch (now motel) in an area where many western films were shot, and a little further to Fisher Towers, an iconic landscape for those films. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

It depends on what is important to you during your stay here. You are four miles into Moab but are on the opposite side of town to go to all the national and state parks. WiFi was good. We were able to stream Netflix in the evening with no problem. The bathrooms are another story. When we arrived they were clean but when we left three days later they we nasty. We are not sure why the park staff did not clean them for three days but they didn't. The campground does have trees on some sites which was nice. It was 112 degrees during our stay. All in all I give just a fair review. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed this campground as we did the arches, canyonlands, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a nice shady site. The wi-fi and all utilities were good. The bathrooms were nice and clean. They are definately trying to make this place nice. Would stay here again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Tent Trailer.

The location is best because it's far enough out to be quiet, but it just off the main artery-very convenient. Family owned, charming, office area has flowers everywhere, shaded benches, community grills, great area to socialize. The rv spaces are shaded (shady but tree was trimmed properly to not be in the way of my coach), wide, the park is clean and well maintained. Rest rooms, showers and laundry room areas are pristine. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We will stay here again. We stayed in a Class A RV for two weeks. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

We were here in June, scorching hot. Leave for day hikes, etc by 6 am, get back by 10 or 11. Beat the heat. Then go into town if you like. Or nap. Park is close to an excellent restaurant called Susie's Branding Iron, great food right down the road.

We booked at the last minute and got the only space available in the park. It was a space designed for a camper or small trailer and we were told that when we booked. Most spaces in the park were larger and more spacious. Our space worked out well for us as we were only staying a couple of days touring Arches N.P. and only needed a place to sleep. The WiFi was terrific and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. Park was populated by people who like off-roading which is a popular activity in the area. This appears to be only park not next to the main highway, so it was quieter than the others. We would stay again but would get a larger space if we were staying longer. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely see the Arches N.P. There is a lot of activity in the town of Moab. There is an old fashioned burger drive in called Milt's stop and eat. It's not on the main drag but the food is good and reasonably priced. Seems like locals and those "in the know" eat there. They usually have a line. I think Peggy Sue wearing chantilly lace took my order.

Adequate space for large MH. The entire cg is full of 4 wheelers that fly in and out as do most of the pickups and cars. The road in front of our site has been dust controlled or it would have been miserable. The view out of the MH windshield was spectacular. Road noise from 191 was zero, just the high volume of vehicles in and out. It is difficult to get a site anywhere in this town in spring so happy that we landed here. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Our group of 6-10 rigs have stayed in this park for several years. Recently they went under new ownership but retained their same management staff. It was evident that customer service was not their priority anymore! We booked our reservations one year ago and had nothing but numerous changes. Phone calls were made to ensure they had our sites correct and still our group was split up with inadequate sites that didn't fit our rigs. One member of our group was told they had to move to another site on their last night, even though there were many open sites available. The office "mistakingly" put them in the wrong spot on checkin. When they refused to move the manager was rude and pretty much told us the other option was to checkout!

The park was run down, grass was dead and weedy, trees full of bugs, gravel was sparse in the sites and on the road which made the camp dusty. Water pressure was minimal and WiFi slow! There are many more RV parks in Moab that welcome your business and are maintained to higher standards. OK is less than OK!! We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

Older park, needs some TLC, staff however were very friendly and helpful. Section where we were was near the entrance between two very dusty roads! Also happened to be there over a weekend when most of the participants of a Ford Bronco Off-road Rally were there - noise and lovely town of Moab and of course dust!! Was one of the few parks that had room to accommodate our dates while visiting the lovely town of Moab and of course Canyonlands & Arches National Parks. Town has everything including an excellent Supermarket. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

As the name says it's an Ok park to stay in. We were here for one night only so didn't get out to see all the sites around Moab Our site was a pull through and just long enough that we didn't have to unhook our 40' fifth wheel.Hook ups were in the right spot and the cable tv worked great with over 100 channels (a lot were digital). Wifi worked pretty well and we had a picnic table. You also get a nice view of the mountains. We'd stay here again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is better than it's name. It is back from the highway so no road noise at night. Most of the sites are pull thru. It had a very nice office, restrooms and laundry. We visited in February so heat was not an issue (highs in mid 60s). We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Visit Arches and Canyonlands NPs. Mesa Verde NP is an easy daytrip. If you have 4wd, you are in the 4wd capital of the west. Stop at Moab Brewing and try their excellent beer and food. Several easily accessible petroglyph sites in the area.

Nice clean & quiet park well away from the highway (the only one in Moab that isn't right on US 191.) Spaces are fairly tight and close together, but with great views of the red rocks in the area. The restrooms were spotless and everything seemed to work. As in most places in Utah the owners were very friendly. An especially good choice for horse owners since stables and places to ride are nearby. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Park is about two miles off the highway on the edge of the residential area. The manager on duty was friendly and very informative about the area. The laundry room was open 24 hours; washers were $1.75 and dryers $1.50 with 4 commercial washers and 6 dryers. The outside common area looks very appealing for the summer season with grills and patio furniture to enjoy the spectacular view. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Arches NP. The campground was convenient to the park and the town of Moab. We also visited Canyonlands NP nearby. There was a very nice laundry and lounge for campers. The staff were friendly and helpful. We should have taken a jeep tour while in Moab, but we'll save that for next time. We would definitely come back again. Make sure you get a site in the back, not at the front entrance. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.
