We pulled in late and was greeted by the lady manager who didn't hesitate to help us get settled. The park does sit on the Hwy but the noise didn't bother us. We stayed one night since we were just passing through but would definitely stay again. The scenery was beyond beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a very pleasant stay at this campground. We arrived on a Tuesday and stayed a week. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were escorted to our site. We used this campground as our home base while we went to the various sites in and around Moab. The showers were clean, the water hot. This is a desert so the grounds were barren dirt and gravel with some scrubby desert plants but clean. Our site was level but the rows are in tiers so to get my trailer into the right spot I had to have my truck on the incline downward making it a bit awkward to hitch and unhitch. You are expected to unhitch and put your tow vehicle in beside your trailer, which worked well. We had a small grass patch, a mature tree, and a nice picnic table at our site. The views were spectacular with red cliffs in back and a stunning vista of the La Sal Mountains in front. They mark the sites with big boulders which is a bit awkward. I tripped over one getting out of my vehicle and scraped my ankle. The WIFI would come and go and we had to take out our own repeater over the weekend when it was blocked by several large rigs that arrived for Thanksgiving. The day we left, a WIFI repair truck pulled in to work on it. When the WIFI worked, it was very fast, you just had to expect the signal to drop every 30 minutes. The cable was excellent. They have a really nice set up for dogs which we appreciated. There is a long outer path that followed the fence around most of the park and there is a medium sized fenced pen. They have a $50 fine for poop and they enforce it so the dog walk and play area was blessedly clean. There is also a trail outside the park in front and a road up on the south side which were nice for dog walking. During the week, the place was about 1/3 full. It was nearly full on the Thanksgiving weekend and yet we did not feel crowded because of how nicely laid out the sites are. Our fee was based on low winter rates. Make reservations if possible for holidays and summer. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park! Great location just on the southern edge of town. Very good facilities, including clean restrooms, showers, good roads, super helpful and friendly staff. Utilities are well-placed and reliable. Only negative is the highway noise. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week while visiting nearby national parks, everything was satisfactory. Showers and bathrooms were adequate but not spick and span as they say. One shower I used was great, the next shower the water ran on the changing room making it hard to dress. Most sites are very uneven. Otherwise nice quiet park that I would stay at again. Staff was satisfactory, Betty who showed us our site was really friendly and even brought us back a Moab Restaurant brochure and recommended a few places to us. She was great! No pool but we weren't wanting that anyway. Although we thought the nightly rate was high it's Moab and seems like most RV places are expensive and were no vacancies anywhere in town at hotels or RV parks. If you make your reservations for September make sure you make them way ahead of time. We made ours 5 months ahead of time. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We love Moab. Some towns we've been to have lots of tshirt shops with junk in them. Moab has lots of nice shops and plenty of good restaurants. I hope we can return here. If you go into the national parks go early leave early in the day, they were really crowded by mid morning!

No pool and no plans to put one in. Decent park. Gravel and sand road. Some shade. WiFi?!?! What stinking WiFi??? It amazes me about RV parks offering free WiFi to pull the customer in, and then tell you that their WiFi isn't that strong and don't expect much! Lucky we have ATT hotspot. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm! Which to me seems a little early to close. The welcome packet they give you says 8:00am-8:00pm in the summer and 8:00am - 4:00pm in the winter but they were closed at 5pm with a sign on the door that clearly says 8-5. The sites are on small hills each having its own patch of grass and a tree. We had to ask to move sites when we first arrived because we have two slide outs on both sides and when we pulled into our site we couldn't avoid the one skinny tree. The staff was helpful and accommodating and was able to move us. The roadway is dirt and rocks, but so is most of the town. They water the grass each night and warn you that anything on the grass will get wet. They warn you at check-in that the water pressure is 75 PSI and recommend a regulator (they sell them at the store for $15.99 plus tax if you need one). Expect high winds at anytime, so don't leave your awning open unattended. That's just expected for this area. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is south of town, if you're coming from the north keep driving and driving until you start leaving town and think you might have missed it. Check out the Arches National Park. There are a lot of rentals (jeeps, bikes, tours, etc) I recommend reserving in advance to guarantee availability.

Lots of RV places in Moab so pick your choice. This one is south of the area but not far out of town. Up on a hill so good cell service. Cable worked well. Nice staff who helped us greatly as they were booked and they had to fiddle to get us in for an entire week and then fiddle another day for us. Very helpful. Nice setting but nothing fancy like all Moab. Close quarters but all of them are close. This one (and we stayed in four) is the best to us. Simple and reasonable price. If you want a pool go to Slickrock or cheap go to Goose Island but if you want good middle of the road reliable, this is your place. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here one night visiting Moab. Nice fairly new RV Park on the way into town, but it IS NOT in town. Reservations were efficient using their web site. However, their phone simply did not work (rang constantly, with no answer). Check in was fine. Led to site by camp host. Utilities were new. Strong WiFi. Dog park was small, with a dirt surface, just like the rest of the park. Our site was level but disconnecting was an issue. The park is on a hill, meaning your TV ends up at an angle downward, after pulling into your site. Beware if you have a longer rig. Would stay here again. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is nice. We had a head-in spot, which means we were looking into a fence that was covered with some greenery and looked into a storage lot. It wasn't a problem for us because we felt that the front window had a lot of privacy and we had a bit of shade. Also, it was an easy back-out site as we were aligned with the road, so it was a straight back out. There was a picnic table and we had grass. WiFi at our site was okay, good enough for Facebook, but not for live game my husband plays so he went to the laundry room for a stronger signal. Bathrooms were very clean; they are the typical, 3' x 3' with a dressing room of 3' x 3'. We would there stay again. For those unfamiliar with Moab, beginning in April through October, Moab becomes very busy with hikers, bikers, and 4 wheel vehicles, which impacts the campgrounds severely. We wanted to stay in Moab for 11 days and it was necessary for us to stay at three different campgrounds. I suggest making reservations well in advance. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Park was adequate in most areas but too much highway noise. The wi-fi was useless and the joke of conversations with all other campers. Bathrooms/showers were OK but poor design leaves dressing area wet after showering. Sites are too tight but typical greed over customer service attitude of park owners. Park is nicer than some in the area but would not be my first choice next time. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Was very happy with this park and found it to be well kept and staffed with super helpful and friendly staff. The location is convenient to town and the parks if you have a vehicle. Our spot was roomy and provided enough space to park our tow vehicle beside the motorhome. Roadway is nearby and can be a bit noisy, but certainly not to the point where it is bothersome. We were tucked back a couple of rows however. Has great water pressure so pack along a regulator. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

While this campground is directly adjacent to highway 191, it does provide lovely tree cover. It appears to be under new ownership and well maintained. The pull-through sites are not quite long enough so that you park your tow vehicle behind along side your unit, different. Showers were clean as was laundry room. Pet area was really nice with a walkway around the outside perimeter at one end of the campground and a fenced off-leash area. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
