Park was adequate in most areas but too much highway noise. The wi-fi was useless and the joke of conversations with all other campers. Bathrooms/showers were OK but poor design leaves dressing area wet after showering. Sites are too tight but typical greed over customer service attitude of park owners. Park is nicer than some in the area but would not be my first choice next time. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Staff was pleasant and got a good recommendation for a hair salon. We booked two weeks and had to move down several spaces after 3 nights. Staff doesn't appear to know how to work their calendar & spaces because the space we ended up moving to had single night campers all 3 nights....they could have just used our original spot for those campers. Large cottonwood trees blocked satellite access but they do provide cable. Laundry room was spotless. Wi-fi is basically non-existent. I had to go into the office to download a software update and every time the phone rang they told callers they were full. The day we checked in the lady at the front desk said "I hope you have a reservation, I've turned away 3 dozen people today"! We had to unhook the tow and back the coach out to the road behind us to exit the park. There was no way our 45' could have made the turn out of the "pull-thru". We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It's Moab! Extremely busy, even for October but Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point State Park are all easy drives. Scenic Loop along US-128 past the LaSal Mountains has some tight "s" turns but the views are spectacular. Lots of great restaurants to choose from. Had to use the ER at Moab Regional Hospital and staff and ortho surgeon they referred me to were excellent.

Okay place for a few days. Sites just long enough for full sized motorhome. Extra place for tow by the rear. Utilities worked well and were in the center. Water was supposed to be 75 psi, but it did not seem to be that high. Park is nothing special and is 3 miles south of Moab. Nice mountain view. I had to saw some tree limbs hanging over my rig in order to get satellite reception. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

People come here to see Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, which are to be seen, but the real highlights are Dead Horse Point State Park and Utah Highway 128. The state park is $10 for a 3 day pass and is spectacular. Drive 30 miles or so northeast on hwy. 128 along the Colorado River for some of the best scenery in Utah. The nut brown ale at the Moab Brewery is good, too.

Reserved 2 spots - 1 for 45 ft Class A and another 24 ft class B. They placed us close together, which may have led to our 45 ft being in a tight spot. Trees were the problem. Had to maneuver back and forth in site in order to have enough room to get slide out. Very busy even in late September. Park is functional. Staff is harried but polite. Internet was mostly unusable. Water pressure is good. Power hookup convenient. Would stay here again, but would probably try one of the other parks. This is second park we've tried in Moab. Demand is high and supply is low and I suspect there is not much need to improve facilities/service as they are busy no matter what. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

While this is a fairly new park it resembles an old style KOA. Sites are closely spaced, all gravel with a small patio and table. Some sites are shaded some are out in the open. The hookups are grouped about mid-site and work as expected. You will need a water pressure regulator as the parks water pressure is 75+ PSI. The cable has 63 grainy channels. The wifi is very sporadic when it works it has good speed but often cuts out and drops connection. All in all this park is way overpriced for what it is. But since it's within a short distance of two national parks they have a constant customer demand which is reflected in their pricing. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Moab is very pricey, so be prepared! Most places are $50 a night or more in the busy season.

This campground is right off of the highway, so there's a ton of noise. We were in the front row, so essentially 10 yards from the road. It sounds like you're next to the interstate with all the semi traffic going by. However, most of the other RV parks in town are close to the highway too so you're not going to find anyplace quiet in town.

Electric, water and sewer hookups were all good, but be sure to bring a pressure regulator for your water as their pressure is really high.

Some people have noted this is not big rig friendly, but you will fit. We did have to unhitch our 43' fifth wheel from our dually truck in order to fit into our space, but we are used to that in most spots. There were motorhomes on either side of us, and they fit fine too. If you're pulling a toad, you'll have to unhitch.

This is an ok place for a short stay in Moab, but after 3 days, the highway noise started to grate on my nerves! They say they have wifi, but it was so slow, I couldn't even check email. I used my Verizon hotspot. 4 bars of LTE. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is about 3 miles south of Moab. It's clean, neat, friendly staffed, and nicely arranged. In the top row, there is some parking for "toys. Our site had a nice picnic table, grass and great water pressure. The front row sites have a nice view of the LaSal Mountains, but are also closer to Highway 191 and it's attendant noise. The only complaints I have about this park is that the cable TV signal is very poor, at best! This comment has come up in other reviews, too. I know it's not my TV. Also, the WI-FI service in the 500 row is very, very slow and constantly disconnects, despite having a 5 bar signal. In order to get WI-FI, I ended up having to go to the laundry room. The signal there was 5 bars too, but for some reason, it worked. In the laundry room I spoke with several other patrons, all of whom were very unhappy about the park's internet service. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. Too expensive. Don't honor Good Sam if they are busy. The staff was too busy to be friendly or helpful. Stayed one night and moved to BLM land North of Arches National Park. Old car show was in town and they started reving their engines within the campground at 6am. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A very clean, nice park with the rudest, most unhelpful staff we have ever encountered. Acted like your very presence was a huge drain on their daily lives. No matter how nice this place is we will never give these people another dime!!! We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for one month, so the nightly rate is much lower. This is a nice park overall. Clean bathroom, fairly leveled sites and enough room to get in and out with big rig. Our main complaints are the customer service and wi-fi connection. The couple who checked us in was really nice, but when we needed help another day it was a different couple and they weren't really that helpful. It made us feel unwelcome for lack of better description, which I think it is extremely important to have a pleasant staff to service people on vacation, not to mention full timers like us. Wi-fi is truly a hit and miss, we full time and work from our rig, it is essential for us to have reliable wi-fi. They told us we could get it anywhere in the park, not true. They were able to move us to a different location where we could get signal at least. But, their system was not designed to handle high volume use. So have your wi-fi card ready if you need it or you will have to go downtown Moab and sit at one of the wi-fi hotspots. We probably will spend more money next time staying at Portal RV instead. I think the facility in Portal RV is a bit nicer and friendlier staff. PS: We are also big on recycling, with the whole Moab having recycling program available, Spanish Trail did not even have recycling bins is another negative point we decided to give them. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights here while visiting Arches National Park and other sites in the area. We had hoped to stay at Deadhorse Point State Park, but it was full. This park is clean and neat, but really nothing special. As some others have said there is road noise, but it is not too bad and tapers off significantly at night. It appeared the owners were doing major improvements to the restrooms, but since I did not use them I can't comment on what was going on. The two things we didn't like about this park were: 1. although the owners brag that there is a tree at every site, most of the trees are quite small and don't really provide any shade to speak of, which would be very welcome in this hot environment and 2. as others have mentioned, the pull through sites are quite short. Our rig is not particularly long (32')and our toad is a compact car and we still had to park it crosswise behind our rig. The short sites would not prevent us from staying here again, but I think next time we will look for a park with more shade. Also, if we go at a cooler time of year, we will stay at one of the very scenic BLM campgrounds along the Colorado River. The park is clean and appears well maintained. However, the sites at the back are not level, front to back. Using one of those sites would be very difficult. We ended up in the front row and the road noise was the worst we've dealt with in a very long time. The sites are quite close together and earlier comments are correct--while they are pullthrus and can accommodate big rigs, if your rig is large (ours is 36'), you must unhook and park behind your picnic table. We had to move the picnic table in order to do so as we drive a one ton pick up with a long bed. We didn't use the WiFi because there is good cell phone service in the area and our air card was faster. We would not recommend this park to others unless they were desperate. It was expensive for what you get. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
