Jun 2018 - $40.00
This is a nice park. Very shady. Great place to relax and read a book. The only downside is there is Nothing to do in town but we spent the time reorganizing and relaxing. - Ruffella
Aug 2017 - $43.00
This is a beautiful campground and was a real oasis after a few days of desert campgrounds. Plenty of trees and grass. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. Nice pool, lounge, and laundry rooms. Well managed and maintained. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is that the entrance road is very narrow and rough -- don't let it scare you off! And there was no Verizon coverage for our jet pack. Park wifi was inconsistent. They cover the pool when not in use, so if you want to use it during the posted hours, you have to ask to have it uncovered. Easy bike riding in campground. - Paul and Jeannette
Jun 2017 - $39.00
DO NOT arrive early, before checkin time, if you have a motorhome towing 4 down. The entrance road is narrow and if someone is coming out then someone is going to have to detach their toad. Lovely park, with grass everywhere. A bit tight to maneuver with a 38' motorhome, but doable. Staff is excellent. Lovely little stream running through the property. - mtmsf
Oct 2017 - $25.00
A very basic, gravel park. The sites are fairly close together, but full hook-ups with 50amp. Power worked fine. Easy stopover on I-15 for an overnight. There seems to be a lot of long term leased sites in the back part of the park, but sites were available in the front park.
I did self-registration when we arrived. Later that day, I found out they gave a Good Sam discount. I called the manager and she told me to come by the office. She honored the reduced rate, giving me back $5 cash and was very gracious about it. It is an easy 1.2 mile walk to town. - YogiNan
Sep 2017 - $30.00
I thought this place was run down. Only certain sites have grass, the rest are nothing but dirt. I would not recommend this place. - Mersadeez
Aug 2017 - $30.00
The campground is right off the road so easy in, but some of the turns in the park are tight and the sites are not well marked. This is your basic park, all gravel with very narrow sites. We were in Site 12 with full hook-ups and luckily no one was next to us or our slide outs probably would have touched. There were no issues with the hook-ups on our site, the water hookup on the site next to us leaked and left a constant running puddle on our site. WiFi was weak, Verizon signal strong. There was a fair amount of traffic noise and trains close by.
We stayed August 14-20, 2017 paid $30.00 a night. There may have been a weekly rate or Good Sam discount but they were not listed on the form left on the front door of the office. We never once spoke to or saw the owners, everything was done via voicemail - when they bothered to return a call, and a drop box on the office door.
We had only planned to spend a few nights but due to illness, and it was move in weekend at Brigham University and there was nowhere else to stay. We would not go back to this one. - BarrettsHappyTrails
Sep 2009 - $6.00
This campground is located on the Nebo Loop Scenic Drive, which runs between Nephi and Payson, just off of I-15. The sites are all level, paved with level gravel or paved patios with fire pits and tables. Some sites are located overlooking the Salt Creek. We chose a site that allowed satellite reception, but still enjoyed the sound of the water. We only paid $6 because it is located in a National Forest (Uinita) and we have a senior park pass. It is a beautiful, rustic campground with lots of trees separating each site, quiet and very peaceful. The next day we drove the Nebo Loop, which is gorgeous. - endofrope
May 2011 - $1.00
THIS RV PARK IS CLOSED!!! - peg513
Nov 2007 - $26.00
This was a little off the beaten path but we were happy to escape the interstate for a couple of nights. Management was VERY friendly. This is the place to take your ORV as the paths leave the campground. You can even take your horses and they have facilities there for them. We would go back in a minute. The nearby Nebo Loop scenic drive, while beautiful, was hazardous to a vehicle`s cooling system! - islandnomads
Apr 2016 - $10.00
Stayed here from April to late August 2016. Basic rv park with full hookups. No other amenities. Perfect for just one night or longer stays. Access to the Arapine ATV trail is just down the street. Can ride ATV directly from park. All amenities of a small town are available. Well worth the stop. - Greenteach
May 2011 - $9.00
Our rate is for a monthly stay. This is a very basic place to park your RV and enjoy the surrounding mountains. There is not a bathroom or laundry facility. This park is gravel. There are some shade trees and little grass under them. There is not any delineation between sites besides the hookup station. The park is quiet and clean. It is easy access from highway 89, but there is not a sign for the park on the highway. The dog area is just across the road to a vacant lot/rodeo grounds. The nearby quiet streets are good for long dog walks. Many of the occupants are full time residents, but all sites are without clutter. The owner is friendly and chatty. The camp host is welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again. WiFi is available from the camp host, but we had difficulties connecting so we used our phones. - peg513
Aug 2017 - $25.00
This is a beautiful site. Very quiet, clean and level. Right on the reservoir. Wish we could have stayed longer. - W Davidson
Aug 2017 - $30.00
I stayed here two nights in site 12 while passing through in a 27 foot motorhome with tow car. The good -- it is not far off Interstate 15, it is on a lake, the sites are quite spacious with grass and shade trees and sheltered patios and graveled tent pads, and dogs are allowed on the beach and in the lake. The bad -- the park is very poorly laid out. There is a one way loop with pull through sites and back in sites on both sides. If I'd pulled into my pull through site following the loop my door would have been facing the road and the hookups would have been on the wrong side. The camp host who came by said to do a U-turn and come up the wrong way on the loop which is what virtually everyone else had done. I did it and rangers yelled at me for "not following the arrows." The camp host said he would straighten them out. Some back in sites have similar issues. Other than the backwards issue my site was excellent. It also didn't help that I arrived Sunday afternoon when the day use folk were leaving -- and the day use area is inside the campground and on the one way loop. As I said -- poorly laid out. The lake is very low -- 18% capacity -- and they closed 2/3rds of the boat ramp during my stay. We had severe wind storms both days I was there -- be very careful with your awnings. Verizon was okay. Water and electric worked fine. The dump station is across the road and perfect. I didn't use the restrooms. Price does not reflect $8 reservation fee. There are ATV trails and a hiking trail that starts at the dump station. The beach and lake were virtually deserted early in the morning and at dusk. There is a camp store that rents all kinds of lake stuff. - SoloRed
Jun 2017 - $30.00
Had to turn the RV around to get hookups on the right side. It wasn't pretty but I got there. Easy off the hwy and roads are excellent. But far enough for minimal road noise. Put Yuba State Recreation area into your GPS to get here or you may end up at the south campground. Grass was well kept and wonderful. The lake was clean and dogs are allowed to swim. It was an easy walk down from the campsites to the lake. Connectivity was great. Verizon was 40+ d/l, ATT 5. Tmobile voice was usable but data not. OTA pulled in a couple of network channels and some fillers. The nearest Walmart is an hour drive. There's some small grocery here but I didn't go to it. Other than that, there's nothing out here. So kick back and relax at the lake for a week. They have onsite jetski, kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals. The lake is clean and crisp. It's a wonderful campground. Site accessibility (site pull in was backwards) - 3 Campground location (Easy off the hwy, out in the middle of nowhere) - 3 Nearby amenities (1 hr to walmart. Local small grocery) - 2 Site Privacy (large sites, good privacy) - 4 Campground amenities (30 amp W/E, individual bathrooms/showers/jet ski/boat/kayak rentals onsite) - 4 Dog friendly (Dogs allowed on beach) - 4 Activities (Water sports, ATV, good bike trails) - 4 Cost ($30/night for W/E, no cable) - 3 Staff friendliness (Friendly and maintains sites and facilities) - 4 Connectivity (Excellent Verizon, decent ATT, Tmobile voice only, a couple of OTA channels) - 4 Total rating = 3.5. - Jessie1975
