This park is located about five miles off of I-15. The entrance road is narrow and would be impossible for two large rigs to pass. The park itself is well laid out with large grass areas and trees. The sites were long enough for our 38-foot fifth wheel and tow vehicle to remain attached. The site a fairly level packed gravel with a large pie shaped grass area between our unit and the neighboring site. The utility pole and water were easily accessible from the our center hookup point. We had no AT&T or Verizon service and there was no OTA television or cable available. There is no internet service available from Campground . No open fires are allowed. At this time of the year the seasonal Creek was dry. Traffic noise from the road was noticeable during the day but it did quiet at night. We would stay here for an overnight again. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park off the beaten path. Worth the extra mikes to get there. Very friendly staff. Spaces are large with plenty of room if you choose not to disconnect your tow vehicle. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, tucked away with seasonal streams. Quiet other than some freeway noise. Lots of green. Clean facilities. Sites are easy to pull into and we were able to keep the fifth wheel hitched to the truck. Full hookups available. No cell service but good wifi. Would definitely stay again! This is a nice park. Very shady. Great place to relax and read a book. The only downside is there is Nothing to do in town but we spent the time reorganizing and relaxing. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful campground and was a real oasis after a few days of desert campgrounds. Plenty of trees and grass. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. Nice pool, lounge, and laundry rooms. Well managed and maintained. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is that the entrance road is very narrow and rough -- don't let it scare you off! And there was no Verizon coverage for our jet pack. Park wifi was inconsistent. They cover the pool when not in use, so if you want to use it during the posted hours, you have to ask to have it uncovered. Easy bike riding in campground. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

DO NOT arrive early, before checkin time, if you have a motorhome towing 4 down. The entrance road is narrow and if someone is coming out then someone is going to have to detach their toad. Lovely park, with grass everywhere. A bit tight to maneuver with a 38' motorhome, but doable. Staff is excellent. Lovely little stream running through the property. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Needed an overnight stay on a long journey and based on good reviews here decided to give them a try. Were extremely happy we stopped here. Family run campground with two of the nicest people running it. Worked with us allowing us to move two times to get a site that was just right for us (first move was to get more shade as it was 100+ outside, and second move to get proper 30 amp electric plugs). Sites are gravel and ours was level. Bathrooms and showers were immaculately clean. Grounds were kept up and you could tell owners try hard to keep it that way. There is a pool behind the office which we did not use but those in it looked like they were enjoying it. Park is aligned in four rows, A-D. Row A are back in, electric and water only; B,C are pull through, full hook up; D is for tents). We were in row A and had no neighbors within four spots either side of us so it was very quiet - most people while we were here were in the rows B,C. Would stay here again. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

We were looking for a full service campground in the general area to freshen up after a week of of boondocking. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a Saturday night in early June in our 25 foot MH. This CG is very well maintained. Gravel sites are aligned in 4 rows and separated by grass with picnic tables. Some need a little leveling. The most shaded sites were in Row A (water/electric only). There was no ATT or Verizon coverage. The wifi was usable. The showers were clean with good hot water. There is a laundry room at the office. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

A beautiful rural setting, gravel sites with good size grass "patio". Mats not allowed. Very quiet. Only 3 other rigs here at this time of year. Lots of trees but we got our satellite to work. No Verizon phone service. Wifi was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park nestled in the mountains. Lovely grass between sites and nice picnic tables. Excellent wifi. Phone service is available by the office. During the season, there is a pool. Great place for RV or tent camping. The park owners are extremely friendly. There is a laundry room if needed. This park is about an hour south of Salt Lake City. This is a nice park. The entrance is one lane paved road and our Class A motorhome took most of the road. The interior roads were paved and the sites gravel. Mostly level, since we were able to autolevel the coach. We parked in the trees and were unable to use our satellite. We did see portable satellites in use. There isn't any cable or over the air tv. We didn't use the restrooms or pool. There is a lot of grass and management waters regularly. The site was long enough for our coach with tow. My only complaint is the low hanging tree branches that dragged across our roof and scratched up the paint and completed some other damage. Our coach is 13' in height. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

If you hate TV commercials and cell phones ringing, you'll love this place. No TV, unless you have satellite and no cell service. Wi-Fi id great though. Beautiful setting up in the mountains east of Nephi. Lots of grass and open space. Pull through sites are a little narrow(where your rig sits) but long enough for trailer and truck to park. Nice pool(in season)and laundry room. Very clean park. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park is rated up there with one of the best we've stayed in. It's toward the end of the season so it's not crowded but locals come on the weekend - still, not crowded. Lovely mature trees, plenty of grass, neat as a pin and friendly staff. Perfect place if you just want to 'enjoy' the moment. We had no problem with 30 amp as some said in their reviews. Even though warm in the day there was a nice breeze and we did not use our A/C the entire week and using the heat, coffee maker in the morning was no problem. Wifi can be sketchy but passable. No cell service but we didn't care. Our portable satellite dish worked just fine and great laundry facilities. Definitely will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

The people who own the park are very friendly and accommodating! The park only has 30 Amp service so with a big rig like ours it can be a problem if it's hot and want to run both AC units. The owner said she would make sure she found us a shady site with plenty of room for our motorhome which she did. Our assigned site was very level and easy to get setup without having to make any adjustments by running up on blocks, which I was very pleased about!! The only issue we had was the trees blocked the satellite dish so we had no TV since you don't have cable or over the air TV. We didn't mind since we had lots of reading to catch up on as well as e-mails to read. The WiFi is a bit slow and doesn't work well for streaming internet video such as Netflix. Also the park has a quite hours from dusk to 8:30 AM which people with kids didn't abide by during our stay as there were little kids running around the park unsupervised until after 9:30 PM making lots of noise. Other than that we really enjoyed the park and will be back if/when we travel through this area again! We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.
