Old lightly maintained park with a big permanent population of old lightly maintained rigs. The office and public building is new, having burned down three times, and lightly maintained. The pool is new and lightly maintained. The old pipes, rods, stakes, and such sticking out of the ground bothered me as I believe they create a serious hazard to playing children or, for that manner, anyone who might fall and impale themselves. It's fine for an overnight stay at the Passport America price. Otherwise, I'd pass it by. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Antelope Island is beautiful. Admission to the island is $10 or $5 if you are old and a Utah resident. So, if you are old, stick your hand out of the car window with a $5 bill in it. These are government workers.

This park appears to be in transition. Full timers, some very old manufactured homes and lots of empty lots. Pool was nice, a little cold for me. Very friendly, nice gentleman checked us in. Wifi only at office. No cable but had good reception on local channels. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

An interesting place as others have noted. It reminds me of an decayed urban neighborhood in the process of being gentrified. It is a mix of awful, average and a little nicer. Some of the mobile homes are really run down and unkempt, others are neat as a pin. There are some semi-perm RV's some ratty, some nicely kept. Lots of empty spaces which were mowed but could use some TLC. Wifi only available within a short distance of the office. I did not use any amenities so can't comment on those. On the plus side - close to I15 with minor road noise, huge, spacious, level sites, interior roads very big-rig friendly, nice people in the office, and a KILLER VIEW - at least from my site. The mountains are gorgeous and that usually makes up for a lot of shortcomings in my world. Also I am a solo woman with 2 dogs - I felt completely safe out walking around. The one real negative is that many of the mobile homes had yapping, barking dogs going on endlessly. I guess that is harder to enforce with perms than with us transients. I would stop again if passing through because it is so convenient to the interstate. Doubt I would stay more than one night until they are fully transitioned to an RV park. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because it is a Passport America park. This is a mobile home park that is transitioning to an RV park. The company that owns the park has a number of mobile home rentals. They are not renewing rental leases and moving those mobile homes out of the park once the lease expires. I would say there is about a 50/50 mix of mobile homes and RVs. Many of the lots are empty and the grass is not being watered so it looks a little rough. The manager and his wife are very nice. The roads are wide, paved, and easy to maneuver in a big rig. The sites are reasonably spaced. I would say larger than average, but not spacious. Great view of the mountains. Our site had concrete strips that the tires rested on. In between those strips and the rest of the site was grass. Our leveling jacks rested on grass. No picnic table. There is a nice grassy area around the office for walking the dog. The rest of the park is pretty rough and full of stickers. They advertise wifi only around the office, but I was parked close enough to get a connection at my site. Wifi was good. They have a swimming pool which we did not use. It is a reasonable value at the Passport rate. I would look elsewhere if I had to pay full price. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is easy on easy off I-15. Wifi in club house. The spot was grass with a cement runway. Electric and water a reach, but my hook up was long enough. Did not connect the sewer. The managers were super friendly and guided me to our site.

It appears to be a mobile home site and attempting to bring in RVs.

The road is wide. No table or fire ring but we are traveling and would not use it anyway. I would come back here when traveling. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy on, easy off I-84. This is an older park, probably a mobile home park originally, but working to improve itself to attract the transient RV-er. An inordinate amount of speed bumps assure the guest of keeping th 10mph posted limit. Hooking up to the electricity was a bit awkward, as the plug-in connection was virtually at ground level. Sites are concrete slabs/paver aligned to the tires, with gravel and grass the rest of the way around. Technically, the site was a back-in, but if no rig was parked behind the space, it could driven into as a pull-through. The office tried to make that possibility available as much as possible. WiFi is available, but limited to an area close to the office. (We were not). The office personnel are friendly and very helpful, and the clubhouse area is a very clean and a pleasant environment. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty to do in the greater Salt Lake City area, necessitating many return trips! Hill Aerospace Museum, located on Hill Air Force base was great, and volunteers are available to enhance the tour with so much knowledge to share. A walking path on the Weber River gives one a chance to exercise and see some of the local area close-up. The entire area of "old town" Ogden is worth the visit, especially Union Station and the Browning (Gun) museum, located at the Station.

The 7 is for convenience to many things. The RV park still isn't visible amid the mobile homes. There are many vacant lots, some MH's are vacant and in disrepair, some are occupied but a mess, RV's with full time residents are mostly very untidy, other MH's are well kept. Owned by Silver King of Arizona. The office and clubhouse/pool is neat and clean but largely unused. RV sites are scattered all over the place but utilities are fairly easy to reach. HDTV delivered 11 stations. Office person guided us to our "drive-thru" site, with WSE, across part of another vacant lot. Although I-15 is visible from the CG there isn't much noise to deal with. Our T-Mobile phones and Wi-Fi hotspot worked great. For an overnight we probably would stop again if in the area. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Golden Spike National Historic Site is 45 miles away. The Union Pacific Union Station, downtown Ogden, is an awesome museum with more than trains. They house the Browning Firearms Museum there along with a Utah Cowboy Museum and an Antique Car Collection that's unbelievable.

We were surprised to see that it's now $40 a day for a park with no WiFi or much more but a former Mobile Home site for a spot. You get two days with Passport at half price, but for a week it's $200. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night while passing through, and I am completely disappointed in the condition this park has gone to. This use to be a combo mobile home and RV park. Now it's a mainly empty mobile home park, that is attempting to become an RV park. The remaining mobile homes are in disrepair or look empty. They moved the playground fence area and it is not close to being nice anymore. Our kids lasted less than 5 minutes at the playground. The vibe of the park is that it is not family friendly at all now. I really didn't feel safe walking around after dark. The sites are old mobile home lots, so they are huge but you have to drive through the grass to get in it. The concrete was busted up, trash on the ground. We never did figure out where the dumpsters were. We just took our trash with us. This use to be a nice safe place when we stayed here 4 years ago. Now, I will never stay here again. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As others have noted, this is an older mobile home park that is being converted to handle RVs. That means the sites are large and level and easy to get into. Many of the homes were very nice, but others were poorly kept mobile homes and older campers. For a few days, it was just fine. I don't think I'd spend a long time there.

On the plus side, the management was very friendly and helpful and you had the impression he would do anything to make your stay better. On the minus side, the park has a ways to go to attract RV owners who will want to spend more than a couple of days there. It will be interesting to see what the place is like a couple years from now. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It is a short drive to Salt Lake City and The Great Salt Lake. It is worth the time to go to Antelope Island in the lake just to view the Bison. Ogden has a host of museums house in a vintage train station, at the end of a block filled with shops, restaurants and pubs.

Noisy, barking dogs, wasn't given site promised, hot, no shade, gravel parking area isn't maintained, rutted and isn't level, ant and weed problem. Had to buy adapters to get the water to hook up. Water line directly under sewer line. Water pressure constantly fluctuates even with regulator. Charge extra for pets. No laundry, Wi-Fi doesn't work, not disability friendly, pool closed when we arrived. Different prices quoted for monthly. Under new management. Won't be staying at again. This park is clean and well-maintained, with both RV's and mobile home spaces. The manager was most accommodating in getting us a space allowing our satellite dish to receive signal. The WiFi is free, but limited range. The closer to the office/clubhouse one is located, the better the signal. A good value choice. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Located in far enough from the Interstate to be quiet, but easy to access, this is a good location to stay and do some tourist sightseeing. Salt Lake City is within an easy drive, as is the Wasatch Mountains, lakes and hiking in the summer, snow skiing in the winter.

Mostly a mobile home park that takes in RVs, but an excellent value for this area. Very good and friendly staff. Some of the old travel trailers & RVs that are here permanently at least are in one piece, but barely. Grounds could be cleaned some, but they aren't terrible. Every site has a garbage can. Lots of dogs, but they're in fenced yards, roped, or walked on a leash. We'd stay here again if in the area. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a couple of days to visit the area of Ogden and Salt Lake City on our ways to the national parks. This RV park is filled with typical long term residences in mobile home parks. The club house is pretty clean but there are a couple of issues we had with the management. The water pressure is very unstable, sometimes very high and other time very low even with our in-line pressure regulator. The wifi service is a joke. It only works in a very small area next to the club house. We could not connect even inside the club house and there were two other frustrated RVers complained to the managers. The management said there was nothing they could do as the internet service provider did not maintain their wifi router equipment and just ignored phone calls. What a joke. We will not come back. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.
