We've stayed in this rv Park in May of this year, in the exact same site, on the lower level near the bathrooms. There is no shade (not a problem in spring and fall) but would be hot on the summer. Tha lower level bathroom needs a good cleaning - - the walls, baseboards, doors, shower benches, light switches, etc all need cleaning. It looks like they have just done a cursory job. Black mold starting to grow between linoleum tiles. It really needs some TLC. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

We stayed in one of the premium sites that had a concrete slab. Very level and full hooks ups. Our site had a ton of room and had a gazebo that sat 6 people with a table. Not sure what a previous reviewer was saying about you have to 5 years or newer to stay in a premium site. My coach is 7 years old!! I was never asked how old my coach was just how long it was. This is one of our favorite parks so far. Great view of the hills, was able to Mtn. Bike numerous trails right from the RV park, lots of hiking and really close to the city. We sat outside every night with binoculars and watched all the wildlife on the hills. Lot's of deer!! Very clean park with a nice pool. The laundry machines could use a little TLC but everything worked fine. The staff was very helpful and very nice. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tons of mtn. biking/hiking trails all over Park City. The Olympic village is a cool place to visit. Short drive to Salt Lake City. The Loco Lizard Mexican food restaurant in Park City has super good Mexican food.

They have a lot of fussy rules about their sites. The premium sites high up on the edge with a view are for RVs 5 years old or newer. The next prized sites were for RVs 10 years old or newer. These two categories have full hook-ups. The "rest of us" were down the hill with electric and water only. Some tent sites have no utilities. Since it was over the 4th holiday, all the campgrounds were full and this was our only choice. Our site was on the lowest level at the base of the foothills next to the river. It was serene and quiet, breezy and lots of grassy areas. The site is gravel and not at all level but the grassy areas and the river are beautiful. Little prairie dogs and pretty birds are everywhere. It was a worrisome not having a sewer hook-up and we were always nervous about our water usage and tank capacity for a 5 day stay. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Recommend riding the chair lifts around the ski areas. The 4th of July festivities were a lot of fun and they even had a beer garden! Parking and getting around is easy because the trolley and bus systems are free.

Overall Rating:

The location to Park City is good. We stayed here for two weeks mid-late June. We were with friends in another rig and stayed in the standard sites in the lowest loop (H) next to the creek. There's a trail across the creek that's nice for a walk. There's also a lot of birds to watch. The noise from the freeway is like white noise, while on the upper level it's much louder. Our site was water and electric only so we used the bath house for the lower levels quite often. The showers were being repaired, so unavailable to use, but the showers on the upper level and by the pool was available. Unfortunately, the restrooms on that level were not cleaned on a daily basis. It didn't matter that they were old, but not acceptable that they were not clean. We also had trouble with the electric at our site detected with our voltage meter. It was too low to run the AC and the surge protector that we had plugged into the post would trip and shut off the electric in the rig. They tried to fix it, but it still didn't work. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I loved it here! Park City is a very nice place and we stayed in the premium section, which had concrete sites that were beautifully maintained. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the park. I would love to stay here again. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very different park. We really like their sister park (Portal in Moab) so we thought we'd try this. A bit strange, the cheaper sites are down below on a gravel road. Our premium site was face in looking out over the valley. A nice place to sit in the evening setting sun. However, the sites for a premium place were quite close together, and traffic noise was noticeable but not enough to lose sleep. A good place for a night or two while visitng Park City. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I reserved a standard site, not wishing to pay for a deluxe or premium for a one-night stay. Big mistake. Photos on the website are of deluxe/premium section, which are on main level and looked lovely. The standard sites are on a lower level, basically in a grass field with hookups, no shade, no exterior lights, accessible by a narrow, bumpy gravel drive. We got down there and found the assigned site was much too small for our rig, which is not huge. I trekked back up to the office because turning around was nearly impossible. The desk clerk was accommodating and gave us a larger site, supposedly the last available, with no sewer instead of FHU, but no discount for the lesser amenities. Glad we only stayed one night. If you need to stay here (there are few RV parks in Park City), spring for a deluxe or premium site or prepare for primitive camping with hookups. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to visit friends in Kimball Junction area of Park City. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on weeknights in early June in our 25 foot motorhome. This was a very convenient place for us. It's a combined RV park with concrete pads and full hookups (sections A-D) and campground with gravel sites with full hookups (section F) or partial hookups (sections G and H). The sites are relatively close together and mostly level. There is no shade in the campground sections. The shower was clean and had ample hot water. The park WiFi is usable. There is good AT&T and Verizon coverage. The campground staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in section H, furthest from the interstate with minimal road noise. Although this campground loses a star for the small sites, it gains a star for green space and a pretty view near the river. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a pool and hot tub, gym, and activity room near the office. Kimball Junction is 1.5 miles away. There is a multi-use path in the area with bridges and tunnels making it easy to bike or walk across the interstate and SR-224. The ski areas and major attractions are all within 10 miles.

The park is right off the interstate and there is constant road noise. The majority of the sites are back-in. We were in the deluxe section of the park. We were on a concrete pad with lawn between sites. The sites are close together. The Wi-Fi worked well and the laundry and bathrooms were fine. The site next to us had 3 barking dogs that the owners could care less about. Don't understand why anyone needs three dogs, especially in an RV. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

If you stay in the top section of this park you will have very manicured sites and cleanliness all around. However, the freeway noise is atrocious. Park City RV is the only game in town so you really don't have any other options of you wish to be in town. The bottom sides are near the creek and back right up to excellent hiking trails that are also accessible via bicycle. Down below, the sites are either on dirt or gravel. The lower sides are full of sharp stickers. In the middle, sites are dirty but offer sewer. All of the bathrooms and showers are very conveniently located to all campers and very clean. The laundry facility is also quite nice. You can enjoy a nice hot tub or dip in the pool during the summer months. Be sure that no matter where you are camping, you arrive to check in at 1 PM or after because there was no one in the office until then. We appreciated being able to have our Amazon packages sent to this park. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many state parks within 20 miles down the road and mountain biking opportunities are sensational. There is a spacious off leash dog park just below the Olympic ski jumps across the street from Park City RV that are a not to in miss case you have a dog that needs to be in a fenced area but wants 20+ acres to run in. Do not miss eating at Chubasco Mexican Grill and Vinto Pizzeria. A couple complete tour of the Olympic Training Center and The Swaner Eco Perserve is also a must do.

We only stayed one night while passing through. This is a pretty small RV resort and we didn't see much to distinguish it from other resorts. As others have noted, a small number of concrete full-hookup "resort" sites next to the interstate (a mix of pull-through, back-in, and pull-in), and then some partial-hookup "campground" style sites down a dirt road and over the back of the hill next to the river. We stayed in the resort section and the highway noise wasn't awful, but it was always there. Our site was a pull-in (not back-in) which was a bit awkward getting into since we had to come in through the resort's exit to get the right angle. The campground section seems nice enough and is much quieter and has a great view of the river rushing by but the entire campground section was muddy due to recent rain/snow. As expected (based on their RV age rules for the resort section) the upper section was mostly new/big motorhomes and fifth wheels, the lower campground section was mostly older trailers, but appeared clean and well kept. If we stay here again we'll consider the campground section instead of the resort section. The WiFi wasn't super fast but worked decently which is fine by us. The fenced dog park is tiny and entirely crushed rock, so we never used it. Instead we walked our dog along the river and campground section. This seems to be a decent place to stay at when visiting Park City. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are very happy with this RV resort, it is well kept and the pool and hot tub make it feel like a spa "resort". You can go down to a flowing creek and access hiking and walking trails from the grounds of the RV park, making it perfect for nature /outdoor lovers, and great for the dog. And don't even think about staying here if you don't pick up after your pet! Please! The staff in the front office is friendly and helpful, and able to juggle many tasks! I would have rated it higher but there is just to much hwy noise and WiFi didn't work well enough to be useful and the price to high. There are really 2 rv parks in one. The top level has concrete pads and small grass area. This area consists of deeded rv sites which owners rent. The bottom level is just mostly dirt and gravel with a large grass area next to the river. If I were to stay there again, I would rather park next to the river even though it has no sewer connection.
