Overall a pleasant campground. Lots of long-termers but generally well kept campsites with rigs in good condition. Easy to maneuver with a big rig. Also easy to reach from I-15, but beware: the entrance is right after a blind curve. Me and at least two others overshot it during the two days we were there. If your GPS says you're close, slow down and keep an eye out for a smallish sign on the right-hand side, right after a curve. FHU all worked well, cable was OK, strong cell signal. Our short-term pull-through was of the 'back-to-back' type (shared hook-ups), so there were about three feet between us and a large Class A. However, we had a nice, sizeable grassed area on the 'living' side, which was nice. The Provo airport is not very far, but neither is it very busy so noise wasn't an issue for us. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

You may also want to check out the campground at Utah Lake State Park, which is just a little farther down the road and seemed nice enough, at least in the low season.

Love the dog park. My two dogs had not had a chance to run for three weeks! Nice park with easy access form I-15. When we visited, it was quiet. The staff was friendly. Lots of trees for shade. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice little park and very convenient to I-15. Being a straight-shot mile or two off the interstate, we found it very easy to get to, get around in (with our 40' coach with no toad), and get out of and back on the freeway. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the park itself if shady and peaceful - tho we did encounter a handful of young children enjoying the nice weather and park environs. The only downsides, from our perspective, were a somewhat sluggish Wi-Fi system and fuzzy cable TV. To overcome these issues we used our Verizon Mi-Fi and our OTA broadcast antenna. That said, we would certainly stay here again if we found ourselves in the Provo area. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Located a couple miles west of Provo in a rural setting. Very nice park with huge trees, paved streets, grass between sites, and excellent utilities. AC never went below 120 VAC even in the morning when temp was in upper 30s and probably everyone in the park was running at least one electric heater. Water pressure was 55# with excellent volume. Wi-Fi was marginal in the back of the park where we were located. Owners allowed me to hand wash my RV and truck at no additional cost. Very quiet park 24/7. Pull-through sites are easy in and out. We would stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Polite, friendly check-in. Across from Provo airport. Larger jets, not regional jets! Nights were quiet. Walking distance to Utah State Park and Provo walking/bike trail. The Verizon signal was poor. The WIFI was decent. We were there three nights and the one small dumpster for the park was never emptied. Neither was the trash can full of dog poop at the large dog run. The RV spots are tight but fine for our stay. Lots of permanent residents and bordering on a "mobile" home park. At least three big school buses every morning to p/u kids in park. A few signs in front of trailers said " Beware of Dog". We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stay at this park whenever in the Provo area and it is one of our favorites. It has lots of large trees and grass and is very pretty. It is out of town so it is quiet. The park is full a lot because of workers who are using it to live in. They seem to be transient and move around a lot, so you might want to make reservations. We were surprised to find the park full at this time of year. Facilities are mostly clean, but problems are the fault of guests and not the park. We will stay here again. The park owners are doing their best to keep it nice. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We had stayed in another park just down the road last year and were inundated with bugs. Not so at this lovely park full of mature shade trees and operated by respectful and helpful proprietors. Were assigned a pull-through site which was fairly level and not so near our neighbors that we could put our slides and awning out as well as enjoy the picnic table during happy hour without feeling cramped in the least. Wi-Fi was a bit strained, no doubt due to the nearly full park. Pool was clean and enjoyable. Very cute ice cream/gelato trailer right on property. Lots of families but everyone got along and the ruckus that sometimes goes with children running amuck was not to be seen. Our next morning was started by observing a mini cattle drive by ATV cowboys going right down the street outside the park. Didn't think much about it until stopping for gas in Ogden and noticing the "leavings" on the motor home splash guards and the front of the toad. A good bit of water did the trick. It was only an overnight for us but we would definitely return for one or multiple nights. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

This park has lovely shade trees, but lacks privacy of any kind. It has those darn side-by-side hookups, which do not allow for privacy. However, the hosts take good care of the grounds and the bike trail is handy in the state park next door. It is well located for activities in the city. Wi-Fi works well and we were distant from the office. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

The turn into the park needs to be marked on the road before the curve, I missed the entrance and had to pull into the 2nd turn-in. Check-in was easy but the clerk was not the friendliest. The roads are paved but have cuts in them - not sure if that is for speed reduction or work that was done and never repaired. The sites are gravel, fairly level with a patch of grass between you and your neighbor. You share the electrical box with your other neighbor. (One camper had their electric accidentally turned off by their neighbor during the day.) The grounds are well maintained. Bring bug repellent since the mosquitoes are bad after dusk. The store is well stocked for most emergent needs--water, milk, cable coax, etc. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park but sites can be hard to get into and out of with a large rig as there are metal posts at the corners of the sites. Sites were alternate head-to-toe, so you shared a grassy area with your neighbor. Adequate length. In order to stay off the grass on one side, we almost couldn't get our slides out without hitting the posts on the other side. Park was well-maintained, pool and bathrooms were very clean. A nice dog walk along the river and a short walk to Utah Lake State Park ($2 per person to walk in). Friendly people in the office; very helpful. Quiet at night. "Snack trailer" to get ice cream, etc. Some shade. Gravel sites. Cable OK. Wi-Fi wasn't great. We would stay there again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly site. Staff welcomed us and we felted like part of the family. WIFI did not work worth a darn. Cable TV did work, although channel selection limited. We would definitely return. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Big park, nicely laid out, lots of grass. Long ways to the bath/shower area. Sites were level and well laid out for our trailer set up. The new dog run was a highlight for our dog. She hadn't been able to just run for over a week, so wanted to go there often. Ladies in the office were great. Can see why it was/is rated one of the best in the country. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

If you don't want your neighbor 3' away, and you care about your RV, don't stay here! Sites are back-to-back and very tight. Management seems to be more interested in the condition of their "grass" than in the comfort of their guests. They have in-ground sprinklers that saturate the ground by your RV and spray mineral-laden water on the sides of your vehicles. The sites are lower than the grass, so you end up with a pond at your front door! Electric power was not balanced (108v and 116v). Cable TV was very snowy - clerk blamed it on our cable. Cleanliness of the grounds was lacking. Office staff seems disinterested. And don't expect them to answer their telephone! Do yourself a real favor and stay somewhere else! We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.
