Called ahead, otherwise this busy park would have been full on a September, Sunday night. As others have said nice park, level sites. Clean and reasonable laundry. WiFi is iffy at best. Works close to office. Pool closed after Labor Day, ( no reduced rate We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

While the campsites are close to each other, this park was a good place to stay for one night. Lots of shade, well-placed and reliable utilities, friendly staff and clean restrooms/showers. Quiet location about a mile from I-15. Easy access, good roads. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night as it was on our way home. The park is in really good condition, staff is friendly and accommodating. The sites are very level but are close to each other. The only drawback was the swarm of aphids coming off the river/lake... it took us by surprise.. But we honestly liked the park. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What a nice, clean, well-cared for park with long term and temporary campers. Tree-lined, level, gravel sites with a picnic table and grassed patio area. Services are close by with good power and water pressure. Sites may be too close for some but was fine for me at site E1 because E1 is at the beginning of the row, so only one site on RV DS with the grassed patio and open space on PS. My 40' Class A towing an 18' car hauler trailer stayed connected in my pull thru site. E1 is close to office, pool and bathrooms. Pool was clean. Didn't use bathrooms but did look in on them. Nice, clean with plenty of room in shower area. Office has snacks, drinks and souvenirs. Our reservation was only for 1 night but the Wizard was able to extend our stay for two nights. We wanted to stay longer but this is a popular park because of its location to all things Provo!! We have placed this park at the top of the list to return when in the area. Easy access from I-15 with excellent interior roadways. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Space to park my car was a short walk by office and pool area. My site was long enough for my RV and trailer with no room left to park my get-around-town car. Not an inconvenience for me.

Stayed here a week and used it as a base to explore the area. Weekly rate is $245. Staff were busy but friendly. We had a pull-through site which was level and gravel. Sites are pretty tight, and sites are such that your door will face your neighbor's door. The campground was fairly quiet except for an occasional plane as a small airport is nearby and there is a fair amount of traffic on the nearby road which leads to Utah Lake and state park. The pool is nice, laundry room needed cleaning, campstore small but adequate. A food truck comes on Saturdays. Several nights a few rows lost power for a number of hours, not sure why as there was no storm. Overall we had a good stay but would try to get into a state park next time. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lakeside RV is a wonderful campground. It is located right next to the Provo river and less than a mile from Utah Lake nestled in beautiful shade trees. Staff are very friendly and will bend over backwards to help you. Park is quiet and very clean. Free park Wifi available but depending on how full the park is can be on the slow side. Pool, Laundry room, and small store located on site. Site spacing is a little tight on your service side. The sites have you park one in east and one in west so that you and your neighbors rig are within 5 feet of each other if you both have slides, however this gives you about a 25 foot lawn space between you and your neighbor on your living side. Use caution when entering the park. Park entrance is right after you cross the river and is just after a blind curve. Lot's to do, see in the city of Provo within 10 miles of park. I highly recommend this park. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sams Club, large shopping mall, and movie theater within 10 miles of park. Costco, Walmart and another large shopping mall within 15 miles of park. The city of Provo has a Recreation Center that is unbelievable. Has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, kids water slides, activities, lazy river, full gym facilities, indoor track and much more. They charge $5 for adults and $4 for kids for the day.

Fairly typical commercial RV park. Stayed here because it was cheaper than Salt Lake RV parks and we wanted to go snowboarding at Sundance Resort 30 minutes away. Other reviewers have told it true. Nearly slide-to-slide with one neighbor and then you share a grassy area (and probably picnic table) with your other neighbor. Nice to have grass though! Some trees around, but none brushed the RV. No view of the lake; minimal view of mountains due to closeness of RVs and trees surrounding the property. Hookups were in normal location. Sewer hookup on a little concrete pad but it was not elevated at all. Tried to screw in our sewer elbow but it wouldn't...but we couldn't have screwed it in anyway because then it's too low for your hose to hook to it. Would recommend a Sewiepig or big rock (bring your own; none around) to help hold your sewer elbow in. Wifi only kind of worked after about 11pm/midnight. Was able to at least look at some websites with patience. AT&T LTE two bars. Pretty quiet assuming no rowdy fellow RVers. Heard a loud plane fly over from the airport as I was typing this, but doesn't happen often. Challenging to navigate the inner roads with a 40' but doable. Site was beat-in gravel/grass; leveled easily. We have a 40' fifth wheel, dually truck, and a small SUV pulling a trailer with 2 motorcycles. Parking our fifth wheel at the very, very front edge of the site allowed us to park our SUV/trailer behind the fifth wheel. If the park was not strict about parking just two tires on the grass, we could have fit our truck next to it too. Very nicely though, they allowed us to park our extra vehicle in an unused site in front of us for no extra charge. Or we could have parked at the office but that was a bit of a walk and no view of our vehicle from our site. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nothing much to add. The other reviewers have said it all. I personally liked the layout with the large grass area between sites. The pool was closed, doesn't open until Memorial Day. There was some plane noise but not bothersome. Trees prevented satellite reception. WiFi didn't work for us at all. Bathrooms while clean were far away. There were 3 people who worked at the front desk while we were there. I asked one of them "what is there to see in Provo" and the response was not much, "where is a good palce to eat" and they said Wendy's. I then asked again to a different person and they were very helpful and pointed out a lot of things to do and see. We would stay there again. Lovely tree covered private campground within a 5 minute walking distance to Utah Lake State Campground. Laundry room was quite clean as were the washrooms. Office and store appear neat and tidy. Good welcome upon arrival. On-site propane sale and in-ground pool. Views of mountains to east and west are nice especially as the sun sets. Pull-thru sites were level and access roads wide enough. Sites are separated by 12 foot grass area every two spaces so you share adjoining centre service connections and are therefore back-to-back. Two large dumpsters were short walk away although, overflowing their capacity. Wifi was decent during off-peak hours. Off-leash fenced pet area is nice. Provo Municipal Airport is close by and has frequent military heavy transport and helicopters which can be loud. Road ends at state park so not much passing traffic. Would camp here again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stay here on our way to and from AZ to PNW. Been here 4 times. Each time I like it less. The sites are very close, and set up so that one goes in one way and the other the other way, i.e., slides are practically touching each other, and utilities are shared. Fine if you want to talk to your neighbors while hooking up but not so great otherwise. This is not lakeside. Lake is about a half mile away. Nice walk if you want to do it. Walking is good here--lots of it, and a river with raised path to walk on. Big fenced dog run. Wifi is so-so, and that might be because the permanent residents are close to the office, and the overnighters are way off where services are not so good. Also means that there is quite a long walk to the showers and bathroom. This might be a good place for long-term renters, but overnighters are secondary. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A one night stop on our way to Moab. Very odd layout - you "share" the open space with the RV next to you. Fine if you knew the people but uncomfortable for us. And then the RV on the other side of us was so close, we could have opened our windows and shook hands. Office gentleman - very nice and helpful. Because of the odd layout though, probably would not stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground has quite a few longterm and permanent residents, but still accepts quite a few overnighters. Located on a quiet road, there is little road noise, but proximity to the local airport can mean some plane noise, and there is an occasional train not far away. Sites have level gravel pads, most quite shady; back-to-back hookups mean you're up close on the streetside to your neighbor, but have a fairly large grassy space for your "front yard" (though shared with the other neighbor). Some muddy spots as grass is well worn. A decent overnighter. Reasonably convenient to Provo. Bathrooms were older but very clean. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here 1 night while traveling thru the area. Campground is 3.5 miles from interstate but on a busy street that goes to a state park. So it is very busy and noisy. And there is an airport across the street which adds to the noise level. And as a one nighter we were in a site closest to the road. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel, fairly level, and long enough that I didn't have to unhook. The rear of this campground is dark due to the heavy foliage and has an unpleasant odor, maybe due to the dampness or the creek mentioned by others. The wifi and cable started out working well but by early evening they were both useless as they kept dropping out. Verizon cell was weak in this area also. The person who helped us check in was very pleasant to work with. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were hoping that this one night stay-over would provide us with info on whether we would want to stay for an extended stay here next summer. What we learned is that this park can't accommodate big rigs for monthly stays, and also that the park is full of long-term, permanent residents in run-down old rigs prepared for winter temps. The roads and sites were big enough for bigger rigs, although the sites shared the utility area, so you would be backed right up to your rear side neighbor. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
