This park is a hidden gem in a residential neighborhood. Sites are nestled between beautiful trees and park is quiet and well kept. This was our second visit to this park and we were not disappointed. Staff came to our rescue when our slide wouldn't go in, and four of them pitched in to help and were glad to do so. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a residential area of town, so it's very quiet at night. No highway noise. Sites are decent size with lots of pull throughs, but it's all gravel. Very friendly and helpful people. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Our visit was a 1-nighter, in-and-out. First Impression: Tricky to find. Some road signs are missing. Nice presentation, flowers everywhere, manicured lawns. Safety: No concerns. Access: Municipal roads in fair condition, poor signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Nice staff, token store with snacks, souvenirs, a few RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations available. KOA price discount. Facilities: Seasonal pool. No spa, fitness room, or rec center. Laundry room. Restrooms/showers look brand-new, modern, very clean, hot water with good pressure BUT stalls and changing area very tiny (score "A-"). Propane sales. Playground. Off-leash, gravel dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are dirt/gravel in good condition with close turns. No overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly. Prevosts shouldn't have problems. Tent area and cabins but no yurts. Sites are all nearby, sufficiently level, dirt/gravel, pull-through and back-in, nice grass landscaping. Pedestals at middle of site with electric 20/30/50; no meters. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 3" threaded, about 2-3" above ground level. No patios; good picnic tables. Fire wood for sale but no fire rings. Marginal satellite views. Free digital cable TV (get converter in office). Free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage but no internet service (??). Verizon phone at 5 bars; 4G at 4-5 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, traffic, or interstate noise. Public school next door, lots of "kid-noise". Bug Report (late September): no insect issues. Runners: CG roads marginal for running. Yoga: put your mat on the grass if so inclined. Conclusion: Score 7-Good. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Richfield, UT, is basically Main Street splitting residential homes. No national restaurant chains, Subway, DQ, McDonalds, other fast food shops. Didn't see a landromat. Wal-Mart. Local groceries. Diesel at Maverik $2.829. No RV stores.

We spent one night here on our way to southern Utah national parks, and were pleased with our stay. We had requested shade in our site and were assigned one of the shadiest (in an already shady park). Very nice & clean park, and very popular with ATVers. A bit dusty as interior roads are gravel, and the layout of the park can be a bit confusing. Great overnighter; a bit far from the national parks to be a good base camp for them, though. We would stay again. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Interior roads can be a little confusing, but I wouldn't say they are hard to negotiate. Both a local grocery (Lin's) and Walmart are in town; good place to stock up. Managers/owners are friendly & helpful. Decent laundry facilities.

We have stayed in this campground many times during the last 20 years when we visit our daughter and grandchildren. It hasn't always been pleasant but the new owners have made this time a great experience. Helpful, friendly, and we look forward to staying the next time we come here. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA that is being renovated by the owner. They are in the process of adding Big Rig sites in the park. Those that are completed look good, we were assigned one that was still being landscaped. All the facilities worked well! We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Playground was great. Lots of trees and shade throughout the park. Very nice and helpful employees and owners. Nice pool - could use a sail shade over the shallow end. Clean bathrooms and showers. We got a deluxe patio site and loved it. It was well worth the extra cost. Huge concrete patio and very roomy site. The patio furniture was very comfortable. A very nice fire pit installed in the patio. Very comfortable and affordable. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

First, we would stay again. Other comments about the sites I agree with. Ours was mostly level and OK. A pull through and easy to get into. Access to fuel and groceries are near by. Only issue is cell phone and WiFi. Spotty to none. Stayed one night on our way to Heber. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in the middle of a major upgrade and will be much nicer when completed. A fellow from the park opened a newly finished site just for us! It had a great big concrete area with a nice fire pit and picnic table. The office staff were friendly and helpful. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

When we got to this park, we were told it was "under construction". We pulled in to our site and it was like we were in the middle of a war zone. So we went back to the office and asked how long this would be going on. They immediately offered a full refund, but assured us that out check-in day would be the worst day and after that it would be fine. This turned out to be true. After that, we were able to enjoy the big dog park, the friendly people, and incredibly accommodating staff. The sites, though at a funny angle, were quite wide and comfortable. If we ever go through Richfield again, I would not hesitate to stay there. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We found that there wasn't all that much to do in terms of hikes close by, but they have a lovely downtown and a Walmart Super Center within a mile of this RV Park.

Very nice, quiet KOA away from the interstate. The staff was very friendly and led us to a long, level pull thru site that somehow, through the trees, got satellite reception. All utilities worked well and the wifi was strong. They are currently doing a lot of work on the campground with new water, etc. There weren't too many folks there due to the season(rainy and a little snow flurries). We would certainly stay here again if in the area. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Older KOA however under construction. Just a one nighter so didn't get a real feel for the park. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. Plenty of room in and out of the park and we are 57 feet long total. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent the night here. Took a dip in the cool pool. Too cold for the wife. A lot of atv's here for the Labor Day weekend. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The dog pen was open, so we were able to let them off leash. Site was level, no blocks necessary. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ate at Sandy's Drive Thru nearby. It was just a short bike ride away, but a little greasy for 50+ year olds. Tip: drive thru and take it home to eat. The smell of grease inside the building absorbs into your clothes and hair.

We stayed here during the ATV Jamboree and had a great time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A staff member guided us to our spot and made sure we were happy with our placement. Grounds were very clean with lots of trees for shade. Clean showers and restroom. Don't be put off by the ATV's. With the campground full of ATV's, it was still quiet. Riders are respectful of others. Will we stay here again? We already have reservations for next year! It's a great place to stay and explore that beautiful part of the country.
