The new owners are working hard to improve the park. They have improved the driveway added new tables, rebuilt the bathroom and now have some 50 amp spots.
We enjoy the quietness and darkness at night. Our 5th wheel and truck are 60' long and we still had space at both ends of the space. Very easy in and out. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Self register wanted cash, no cards. Fill out the form at the counter and slip through the slot. Large open sites with full hook ups. Lot of room for dogs and they did not require leashes so great place for the dog to exercise. Not much in the area but a nice park to just kick back and enjoy the silence. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in the process of changing its name. Very low key. You register and enclose a check and put the registration envelope through a slot and go pick out a spot. Far enough off the highway to be quiet and dark. Some permanents with some older units, but most were there overnight like us. Great open field and view in front of the pull though spaces. A good stopping place. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is in a rural area off the freeway. It has long pull thru's average space between. It is easy in and out. Big rig friendly. This is mainly an overnight location. It is a good stop over point. The services all work fine (no Cable TV). No frills just basic services. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice quiet place with large sites and easy access. Sites were level and everything worked well. Water pressure is high, so they recommend you use a reducer.

The shower and bath are not fancy, but were clean. They have a couple of washers and dryers. I did not use them, but they looked ok. Laundry room a tad messy, but appeared functional.
Great for an overnight stay. Mollies diner had good breakfast, but one order is enough for 2 people. I will definitely stay at this park again because of the well maintained sites and ease of access. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Second time we have stayed here. Great for overnighters. Sites are level, 30 amp service only, good water pressure, self service check-in, some distance from Interstate so no noise, nice grass between sites. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Motorhome.

Having stayed here several times before we knew what to expect. Not fancy, but good for an easily accessible overnight stop. Minimum amenities include a golf range and walking path. Good stop if you don't want to deal with the off/on hassle of the Salt Lake area.

Park is accessible from either Snowville exit. Roads and sites are wide, level and gravel. Utilities are logically placed. While not new they are reliable. Check in is on the honor system. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

A Flying J fuel stop at the East interchange. Another new fuel stop was just opening when we stopped.

I think earlier reviewers were kind because of the charming 80-year-old owner, who tries his best but apparently can't really keep up with this park. It is good that it is still available for people who really need a place to stay in the area. There was on one other customer the night we were there and we had free choice of sites. The first one we tried had numerous critter holes and, fearing they would take a liking to our coach and climb on board, we moved. There was dog poop everywhere, which made it tricky walking our dogs. We probably wouldn't stay here again. The price was with a small discount for Escapees membership. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Motorhome.

Great place to spend the night. We were headed west and it was getting late. Glad we found a safe, clean place. It was self-check-in but the owner was on site. Nice long sites and the grass was freshly mowed. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

OK for an overnight but really not much more than grass and gravel with full hook ups. If you are a golfer there is a driving range. There is no attendant and there is self check-in, cash or personal checks only. There is only 30 amp service and it was hot when we got there so we had to run generator for several hours so we could run more than one AC. Great little diner nearby called Mollie's and a small Flying J. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Motorhome.

This is probably not a well known campground but I would highly recommend it. Well off the highway and quiet. Very level spaces, full hookup although it doesn't have 50 amp which was OK for us. Self serve at the office but the owner was always out and about so if you needed something he was available. Spots were big enough for large rigs and pull through was available as well as back in. I would stay here again. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great big rig stop over while traveling I84. It’s easy on and off the highway but far enough away that there is little traffic noise. This is a no frills campground that’s on the rustic side but the bathrooms, showers and laundry were all usable. There is no WIFI here and our sprint phone and 3G did not work. The road around the park was smooth gravel with long level pull-thru gravel sites that were easy to get into. All the sites are full hook-up 30amp with the power/sewer station in the middle but the water is at the rear and can be long stretch for your hose. There is a little grass between sites and plenty of room for slides and awning. There are no trees to obstruct your satellite. All campsites sit across from a 300 yard driving range that is part of the park and creates a great view out your dash. The park is not staffed during the day so when you get there just stop at the office, get a registration form and map, pick any site then put your payment thru the slot in the office door. Escapees price was 25.50. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Motorhome.

We pulled in late in the day and found plenty of spaces available. This is a high, open valley so expect cool winds. The dog picked up goat's heads (stickers) along the exterior road. The kill deers were nesting all around the exterior so the dog had lots of interesting distractions. The driving range was in great shape, but the wind kept folks off it (other than dog walkers). We'll stay in this nicely maintained, comfortable park again, with a longer fresh water hose. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

This park is a gem! Nice friendly owner who gave a 15% SKP discount. Park is far enough off interstate that you do NOT hear traffic. This was the best night's sleep I have had in weeks! Nothing fancy, just big space, good hookups, nice owner, and good rest!! We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

If this park had 50 amp electric we would definitely have rated it higher. It is set up for big rigs with easy access, great turning radius, very long sites, quiet, well maintained, fairly level gravel sites, good grassy spacing between sites, electric and sewer well placed, water hydrant -- you will need a long hose. Not much for shade although a few back ins would have some shade in the summer. We did not need A/C because of the late fall weather so 50 amp was not an issue. Self check in, but I had called the owner ahead of time to be sure the place was still open. We are not golfers, but there were free clubs and balls available for guests to use on the well maintained driving range. If it was cool and A/C wasn't needed we would stay again. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Motorhome.
