We stayed overnight and evidently the overnighters get the "gravel and dirt parking lot" treatment despite there being many empty very nice RV spaces. This is a combination RV and mobile home park. The "parking lot" is just that, a huge gravel and dirt field with pedestals. No specific spaces, no trees, no grass, nothing. I thought this was pricey for the space but it was only overnight. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The amenities for the long-term residents look quite nice. I would not tolerate the space we had for more than an overnight, and even so with many vacant proper RV spaces they didn't need to put us in the "parking lot".

My main complaint about this park is the Internet service. Normally, I don't expect too much from the Wi-Fi service at an RV park. But I was paying $40 a night at the weekly rate and the Wi-Fi was horrible. Half the time, I could not connect. The rest of the time I could connect for a few minutes to 30 minutes and then was disconnected. They had access points throughout the park but the central router could not handle the load. Each site had a large concrete patio with a good parking space across the patio from the RV. The utility station is getting old. My water faucet handle broke off and had to be turned with pliers. Cable TV was good. Verizon air card service was very poor. My 4G JetPack service was 150 kBps. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for two nights in a 40 foot motorhome with tow so we could visit Zion National Park. They are closed on Sunday but I left a message and a young woman called me back and told me that there would be a list of available sites on the door for those arriving without reservations. We unhooked our tow and looked at available sites and found an easy pull thru to accommodate us. The next morning we stopped by office and paid. The staff is very nice and helpful. A young man even tried to help us find a park on our next stop. The wi-fi was good. The spot we were in was just a dirt lot but had everything we needed. They do have nice paved sites and they are definitely big rig friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is convenient to everything in St George. It is close to the interstate, but not very noisy. Water, sewer, and electric work well. Sites were short and wide back-ins. The RV parked on one side of cement patio with the tow vehicle on the other side. Wi-Fi was unreliable. OK when park was not full. Slow and would come and go at other times. Verizon MiFi was horrible. Speed test was 200 kbps. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night as we were passing through. It was a nice park, very full. When I called they said they only had 4 sites opened and this is on a Wednesday. The site was a back in (as most of them are here) and very difficult to get into. Luckily my husband is very good at backing our 41 foot fifth wheel in. The streets are very narrow and there are a lot of permanent park models. The site was large enough once we got in it. We were able to put out our awning and park our extra car. No playground for the kids which was very disappointing. We didn't use the facilities since we were only there for the night. It is very convenient to town and the freeway. Beautiful views outside the park. The office worker escorted us to our site, but did not stick around long enough to explain the cable hook ups or any of the utilities. We aren't rookies, but she didn't know that. We just used our antenna and hooked to electric only. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 4 nights in our 5th wheel. I found the site very difficult to back in to as the road was so narrow. The site it self was side enough and long enough. There is a concrete patio with a table. We parked our pickup beside the patio. Site was gravel although the roads are paved. Cable was spotty: sometimes clear and sometimes "snowy". WiFi, as is typical for RV parks was not accessible unless I went to the club house. Even at that location is was slow.

Although we did not use them, the showers, pool etc. all looked clean and pleasant. Laundry worked well. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

St George is near to Snow Canyon SP and Zion NP, both great parks. For those of you who are mormons, there is some history in the city.

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The rate is based on staying a week. UT has a hefty hotel/RV tax.

If you need or want to be in downtown St. George, this is the park. Two thirds of it are park models for permanent residents crammed in pretty close together. The transient spaces are all gravel. There are some pull-throughs, but the majority are back-in.

The facilities are immaculate. The pool (in Novemeber) was covered with a large inflated dome (the night time temps fell below freezing) that made swimming feasible. Nice laundry, good showers.

No dog park. We walked our dogs in the field between the RV park and the main road, and in the large storage area. It worked for a week, but the place really needs a good pet area.

We will stay here again. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Smiths Market about a mile up Bluff Ave is good. George's resturant on St. George Ave is very good. Sakura Japanese Restuarant is excellent. Weird alcholo laws in UT: you have to order food to get a drink at a bar.

NOTE: buy your wine, beer and spirits in AZ, CA or NV. The selection is limited and the prices are high at the UT state liquor stores. The beer sold in markets is 3.2!

Although we made a reservation two weeks in advance, we were put in the storage lot with water, tv, and electric extensions borrowed from another site on the other side of a chain link fence. "Pull through" means you get to park perpendicular across four storage lots, with stored campers all around. The bathrooms/showers are a good 300 yards distant and there was no discount for these shabby quarters. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Have stayed at this park the past few years as part of the Huntsman Senior Games. Pool is nice, exercise room excellent. We were in a site next to the street (we requested it) and the sewer smell was strong. Showers were OK, nothing special. Park was full and spacing a little tight but adequate. An employee guides you to your site and helps you drive in. Clubhouse, pool, seemed like a lot of amenities, but we didn't use any this trip. No trees, though, so no shade. Our site was gravel. Also, lots of restrictions on pets, where they can walk, etc. We had to walk a distance for potty area for our Yorkie. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were here in 100+ degrees so would wish for some shade... but just about everything else was perfect. Great site, solid services including good cable TV selection and snappy wifi, pool is VERY nice. Walk to Kmart & lots of fast & not so fast food. 6 theater complex right next to park. Garbage pails at every site and the local paper delivered. Nice helpful staff that works hard to keep the place up. Would definitely come again and stay longer. The owners and staff are very responsive and helpful. The park is clean and sites are flat with adequate space for slides. The wifi was out of service at our visit. The only area for walking dogs within the park is along a hay field. We camped at Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The roads are paved, with level gravel sites. We had one of the long pull-thrus for big rigs where they use two back-to-back back-in sites, and it worked out well. The park is on a quiet road with little noise. Utilities were fine, and the staff was very nice. Trash is picked up every day at your site. Wifi was good. Nice pool and hot tub. Nice community room with pool tables, as well as an exercise room. A local movie theater is within walking distance right next to the park. Easy access to major interstate, without being in ear-shot.
