Stayed here during our visit to Capitol Reef NP for 3 nights. Fairly pricey for what you get and not comparable to other parks in the area. Hookups worked, sites are close together and are fine gravel, don't try riding a bike or wearing flip flops. Neighbors sewer hookup is within a couple of steps of your door. Somewhat unkempt appearance in general. Good OTA tv signal, but this is not a good spot for Verizon. Probably would try another RV Park in the area should we return. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I value service above all when staying at a park. The good folks at Sand Creek where very accommodating, personable and friendly. We roll at 70' so we barely squeezed around the park and into our spot with the gracious help of the park owner. The best part about Sandcreek is it's close proximity to the main part of town which is within walking and cycling distance. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

What a backdrop this place has! Gorgeous red rock cliffs on one side, similar to what you find inside Capitol Reef National Par, which is only a few miles up the road. We stayed here as part of a visit to the Park. My cousin rented one of the cabins, which was rustic, but well comfortable and cool. They gave us a space for our teardrop nearby. We were also near the bathrooms, which were clean. Owners live onsite. We dropped the trailer so we could more easily explore the park. Had a little trouble getting it back on the hitch because site was in deep gravel and we couldn't get purchase with the wheel. If you drop here, you may want to make sure you use a block. This is a nice place to stay and less crowded than the campground inside the park. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Office staff fine. Wi-Fi OK most of the time, which is pretty good at campgrounds these days. My Verizon MiFi did not work here. AT&T phone service worked pretty well. View was very nice from site #11. Price was good during high summer season. Very close to Capitol Reef National Monument. Lots of detractors, though that are fairly easy I would think to solve: site not level, trees not trimmed, place looks a little dumpy with clutter on the front porch and in the office area, entry into the place is dirt and gravel with lots of potholes. Satellite worked because we moved a little forward in our site. Barely enough room for car. Looks like they are clearing an area. Don't think I'd return to this one. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this small country-like campground. Nothing fancy but wonderful location for seeing the sites in this area. Very friendly and helpful owners (she makes and sells beautiful jewelry in the store). Beautiful views throughout the park. We are a big rig and when we made our reservation she made sure we were in site #1 which was an easy in and out. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

The proximity to local attractions in the area and the friendly staff make Sandcreek RV a good spot to park the trailer or set up camp in one of the tent sites or cute little cabin rental. Beautiful views of red rock cliffs surround the back of the park. Good Wi-Fi, AT&T service. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Small but decent RV park. Spaces a little close to your neighbor; all sites we're pull through. Friendly owner who runs a little store where she sells her handmade jewelry. The campground is near some nice restaurants and about 10 miles east of the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park. Quiet while we were there. Light in bathroom somewhat dim. Rate shown reflects the 50 amp rate. This is a basic campground close to Capitol Reef National Park. Long pull thrus, but watch the overhead branches. Dirt roads and sites with some trees between. No cable. WiFi shows 54 mps. No Good Sam or other discounts. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, really clean grounds with grass between all the sites. Sites are gravel and are more than long enough to accommodate a large 5th wheel and its tow vehicle. This is the only park in the area that claims TV hookups; however, our site only received 21 stations with no TV channel card or TV Guide. Also my reception was really poor with noise lines and a flaky picture and the best my HDTV could do with the signal was 480P. Then too the Wi-Fi was only marginally useful. My site kept dropping out and when it was connected it was so slow it was useless. I did a speed test and got .08MB download after the third try. Again, it was only slightly better than nothing. I don't think I would stay here again. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, well run and in a good area for visiting Capital Reef NP. It’s a very dusty park as all roads and sites are gravel. Re-graveling them with rock and not stone dust would really help. Utilities were good although the electric was a little on the low side 112v. The pool was very small for the amount of sites they have. Rate reflects weekly discount We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Sites are very tight. Located 15 miles from Capitol Reef NP. Laundry not available when we arrived as the owner was using it. For the price, it worked for us as we spent all of our time in the national park. Owners need to clean up the junk around and give it a bit of sprucing up. Would stay again if in the area. For the price, this was a great RV park. Sites are fairly level. Overall, the place is rustic, but patches of grass separate the gravel sites and roadways. Restrooms and showers were good (a solid "B"), though the carpenter set up the toilets with almost no room between the door and the commode! There are trees on the property, but the sites where not particularly shaded. Spacing is closer than some, but not horrible. Very quiet at night. Charming land-lady: very friendly. Great restaurant across the street in easy walking distance (but expensive). We would stay here again We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
