So aptly named - a wonderful campground. Beautifully manicured with long, relatively level sites, trees and grass. The laundry is immaculate and inexpensive. Right at junction of Highway 12 and Rt 24. Minutes from Capitol Reef National Park.
Owners were friendly and always working around the park. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful grass and shade trees. Only detraction was feeling like your neighbor's sewer hookup was in the middle of your front porch. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

When we arrived we had to wait a bit to get checked in since the proprietor was out doing maintenance. After check in was complete what I got was a small slip of paper that was my receipt along with the wifi login code plus another small slip with the park rules. Made me wonder about the owner's commitment to the guests. I didn't need to worry. They are very conscientious to ensuring guest satisfaction. The spaces are long and somewhat narrow with beautifully maintained grass plots between sites. While cable TV is available I got a clearer signal using my over the air antenna. The site was reasonably level with gravel under the rig. Did I mention the owners are positively anal about keeping the grass in perfect condition? They were constantly moving sprinklers around and carefully mowing the grass. We'll be back. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Slackers Burgers is probably the best place for lunch. While at Capitol Reef be sure to buy a fruit pie at the Gifford House. It's delicious.

What beautiful views in this well-maintained park! We were in a pull-thru space, looking out over a pasture with beautiful mountains beyond. It is the closest RV park to Capital Reef if you need hookups. My first criterion for a comfortable stay is space between RV's. This park has a wide grassy area between spaces, with a couple of trees. The spaces are at angles so that we are not all aligned next to each other. I was worried about the highway noise because I'm a light sleeper but it was very quiet at night.

The WiFi worked great, and we stayed 7 nights, so got 1 night free.

The manager was so helpful. We had problems with the slide and jacks and he contacted someone to help us. We will be back in the Fall. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This pleasant, smaller park only 10 miles from Capital Reef NP is a pleasure to stay in and a decent value as well. Access roads are gravel and easy to navigate. Sites are also gravel, separated by grass strips and a picnic table. Some even have a small concrete patio. Water, sewer, and electric hookups were convenient. WiFi was strong and Internet thruput was pretty good. We didn't use the bathrooms. The laundry was handy and fairly inexpensive, though the dryers were slow. Overall the park feels well cared for and well run, and we were happy with the price. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Level, shaded site (5) and the utilities are easy to get to. Sites are gravel and level and have a picnic table but no individual fire ring.
Cable TV leaves a lot to be desired as many of the channels are quite grainy. The WiFi works and does seem to handle decent email activities. The park is very well maintained with easy access to Rt. 12 for Bryce Canyon. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sweet little park next to Capitol Reef National Park. Check-in was easy with very friendly staff. Site was back-in but very easy to get set-up. Lots of long pull-thrus for "big rigs". Wi-Fi and cable were good. A little road noise but other than that very relaxing after a day of wandering about Capitol Reef NP. Clean restrooms and showers, plenty of hot water. Small, but nice laundry. Restaurant and gas station right across the street. I highly recommend Wonderland and will definitely be back. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What a lovely, peaceful little park with a great view. We stayed in Site 12 which had a great view of the mountains and a large grassy area. Site was large and we had no issues with leveling. WiFi and Verizon phone reception was fair due to location. We did not use the cable but our satellite did work here. The owners of the park were very friendly and helped us the day we left when we had an issue with the lights on our tow vehicle. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

I don't usually do reviews but felt compelled on this because it is one of best RV parks we have stayed in over 10 years of RVing. Each site has manicured grass lawns, a rarity at most RV parks, but even more so here in the desert. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a neat little area next to the office with booths and tables like a little café where they have coffee, ice cream, a microwave and toaster oven to heat/cook snacks and a laptop for you to use for Internet access. Just across the street is a gas station, subway sandwich shop, and a bakery that makes fresh pies, candies and sandwiches. Even closer is a visitor center with lots of info about local and state attractions. The owner manages the park and is nicest, kindest park manager we have encountered. I had to have my transmission replaced, so a 1 day stay turned into 10 days and he provided us transportation so we were not stranded. Something we did not expect and it was offered without request. Everything that is right with America, you'll find at Wonderland RV park. I just wished it was closer to home so we could use it more often. If you are going to Capital Reef Nat'l Park, do yourself a big, big favor and stay in Wonderland. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Owner very helpful and knowledgeable about area, scenic drives, restaurants. Even cut us limbs to make hiking sticks. Overall park was very nice, lots of grassy area. Our site (#1) was very narrow, but other sites were more spacious. Would stay here again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Small park but well maintained. Trees for shade, FHU's, close to Capitol Reef NP. Not much civilization for a town, groceries at a small mom&pop store (aka: expensive). September is their busy time in these parts, reservations recommended. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

I think this is the closest RV park to Capitol Reef National Park. The owner appears to keep his property very clean and in good condition, and he's a super nice guy. Our spot was long enough for our 31' MH and tow car. Everything worked well, full hook ups and WiFi. He has cable which is a little weak but we found out just before leaving that over the air stations are available. There was some shade and the grassy areas are green and well maintained. What's not to like? The driveways are dirt/gravel and while the owner can't play traffic cop all the time, we found more than the usual number of vehicles racing around the park kicking up a substantial amount of dust. Why can't RV drivers abide by the 5 mph speed? We would return here. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.
