This is a lovely park, very clean and well kept. It is right on the road, but the noise did not bother us. Lots of grass, which they work to keep in good shape. The downside for us is that Torrey is not Verizon friendly and the wifi was quite weak, so connectivity was not consistent or good for us. Large dog area and easy in and out. We were surprised at how busy they were and could not get reservations for as long as we wished, so recommend reservations in advance, particularly in September and October, their busiest months. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

So much to see and do in this area. Capitol Reef Park, Fish Lake, and the Burr Trail, so picturesque, each in a different way. We will be returning to the area.

We have stayed at another park in Torrey before, but this proved to be a very good alternative. It's very nice looking, and we had some shade and grass. Staff was helpful and friendly. The pull-throughs are pretty close together, so you don't have much of a yard. No problem getting slides and awnings out, though. We were there 6 nights, and the park was full every night, as were others in town. Don't come to south Utah in the fall without a reservation! Verizon cell service in Torrey is iffy, and internet nonexistent. The park Wifi was usable most of the time, much better than typical RV park Wifi. It did have bad moments and is certainly not designed for streaming video. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, well manicured park with views of green pastures with cows grassing. Dog walking area was of beautiful green grass, Showers & restrooms were spotless. Friendly staff. Was well worth the stay. We would stay there again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Located at the edge of Torrey, UT, Wonderland RV is a compact and well laid out park with easy navigation and easy parking for both pull-through and back-in sites. Our site was gravel, surrounded by nice grass, and a mature tree. Hookups were good and the sewer is at ground level. Though situated next to a highway (the main road through Torrey) there wasn't a lot of noise during the day and almost none at night. The mornings seemed the noisiest time, with people coming and going. The showers were large and very nice, and the laundry room was plenty big enough for this sized RV park, and everything was clean. Verizon signal was terrible, but the WiFi was okay most of the time, and adequate for email/FB. This is a very convenient spot when visiting Capitol Reef National Park, and there are several good (for a small town) restaurants in town. We would likely stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Capitol Reef N. P. is not to be missed -- truly the National Park Service's best kept secret. We spent 3 days but could have easily done 7-10. There is no market in Torrey, just a General Store with basics. A full-size small-town market is in Loa, about 20 minutes away. We ate at Slackers and Red Cliff, both of which were decent.

Small RV park in Torrey whose owner keeps the park in tip top condition. Nicely spaced sites for a commercial campground with some shade trees. All of the hookups work well and the bathrooms and showers are kept very clean! Recommend reservations as they were full most nights in late September. Great location to explore Capitol Reef National Park, Scenic Byway - Utah 12, and the Burr Trail. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park with trees. Wide spaces with room for slides and awning. Level on first try. Clean Laundry. Lots of flies from cattle pasture next door. Beautiful area. Grocery store in Loa about 20 minutes away. Very close to Capital Reef and road to Escalante. Little to no WiFi, but great cable TV. Would stay here again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Capital Reef and road to Escalante (Highway 12) a must see. Slackers for burgers and shakes. Several restaurants in town, but didn't get to them. Lots of cars however. Store across from Post Office has a bakery, deli, and all the basics you will need. Grocery in Loa is Western Family and has everything. Nice drive up there - about 20 minutes. Will come back again and stay here.

Extremely clean and inviting campground. Deep, thick grass (but don't drive on it) nice sites, easy to get into (don't drive on the grass) and very friendly staff. But they tell you SEVERAL times, No rugs, no chairs and NO driving on the grass. Otherwise, great place to stay while at Capitol Reef National Park. Good Wi-Fi, good water pressure, sewer, electricity, easy access, activity room etc. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a nice 4 night stay in this park and liked the park very much. The owners are a nice, young couple who work tirelessly to make sure the park is neat, clean and orderly. Level gravel sites, gravel roads, big shade trees, nice bathrooms and nice laundry room. Wifi was very good at times and not so good at other times. Owners immediately had a tech come to make repairs and install an additional antenna. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Small but tidy and well-equipped RV Park just on the Capitol Reef side of Torrey. About 10 minutes from the park. Cattle pasture on two sides which means some flies, but no more than usual for UT. Some shade. Close to the road but traffic is fairly light and the noise dies down after dark. Some of our neighbors were there for the summer. Wifi was somewhat overloaded during prime time, and their server is not configured for some types of traffic (couldn't start up a VPN or Outlook email client). Verizon service throughout Torrey is "1x extended" which was very poor for any data. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The horse that shares the pasture out back is named Leroy. He'll come to your call and likes fresh carrots. Cafe Diablo is a standout restaurant for such a small rural town. Big-city presentation and prices, but friendly and attentive service. The Key Lime Cheesecake was something to behold and tasted just as good. There is a farmers market on Saturday afternoons in Torry - crafts and home-cooked items.

Small RV Campground on Hwy 24 just west of Capital Reef NP. WiFi signal is weak, had to use the BearExtender to use the computer. I don't see any long term residents, a plus for me. Well maintained, almost to a fault. If they would put down some gravel, they wouldn't have the dust problem. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Well run park. Very clean. Wifi is weak. There was a water crisis in town while we were there with notices to boil water before drinking. Owner assured us that his water had been chlorinated but we chose not to use it. That meant rationing what was in our fresh water tank. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This pretty little park was a sight for sore eyes. Lots of green grass (which they seems to water a LOT). Add the cattle and horse grazing just over the fence, and it's even better. The cable is limited in available channels, but sufficient for a night or two. Wi-Fi is quite weak. Our site was gravel but very close to level. We had a couple a nice shade trees. However, we could not open our patio awning because a tree was too close. Maybe a bit of trimming might be in order. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. Capital Reef National Park is a diamond in the rough. It has incredible views and awesome hiking trails. Across the street from the park is a bakery that has fabulous cinnamon rolls and hand dipped ice cream. This is the best place we have stayed so far. The view from our MH was mountains and pasture. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The site was well maintained and required very little leveling. Hookups were in good shape and convenient. They were doing things daily to make sure guests were happy and the facility maintained. Highly recommend! We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Capitol Reef Park is a must. Scenic drives, hikes and places to relax. The Nottom/Burr Trail is amazing! It takes you from Capitol Reef to the backcountry of Escalante. Visit the Wayne County Visitor Center just across Highway 12 for maps and local information. Also try Torita's for the best Mexican food! It is a food truck across Highway 24. Family owned and operated, inexpensive for the amount of food you get, and delicious!
