We paid a bit more for this park than we usually do, but it was well worth it. This may well be the best park that we have ever visited. In any case, we've given it the highest rating. It has all the amenities and is beautifully situated near Zion National Park. It was quiet and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely return to this park. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We disconnected our travel trailer and drove through Zion NP. We were very glad to have disconnected. Although our trailer is only 19 ft long, the tight turns and steep hills would have been very difficult to negotiate. Zion provides many, many hiking opportunities and incredible views.

Woohoo! What a nice place! The entire campground is paved, except for perfectly maintained lawns for each site. The office and store remind me of something you would find at Disneyworld. The internet power, wasn't adequate, but that's no different than most RV parks. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a back-in site by the road and the road noise was not an issue. Large grassy area that was great for our picnic area and our dogs in their fencing. Staff were so friendly. Great area along the river that was shallow and sandy for our dogs to cool off. (Go upstream a bit for the sand.) We also had a lovely young girl that took our dogs for a walk and sat with them while we hiked Zion. Her parents work for the resort and you could probably get her info from front desk. Also used the shuttle service to town to catch shuttle up to Zion. We took our bikes and that was a great way to see the park without waiting at each shuttle stop in the park. Start at the top and work your way down. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A very nice RV Resort. The grounds were clean and orderly and the staff was helpful. We noticed the crew raking the spaces immediately after an RV left. The crew picked up your bag of trash when left on the roadway near your rig each day. This campground is roughly 12 miles from Springville UT and the Ranger gate at Zion National park. The other RV parks are closer in, but they are older with closer spaces and cost more. For those that aren't pulling a TOAD they have a shuttle service (fee) that takes you to the Park Service shuttle pickup point. This is our second year at this Resort We enjoyed ourselves and will return. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is an incredible park. Extremely clean in all regards. Lots were immaculate, the pool / spa area was super clean, service area impeccable. Friendly service. Quiet at night. I stayed next to the river - paid extra for it but well worth it. Highly recommended, I cannot wait to go back. I used this as I base camp to go mountain biking and exploring. 5 star park 17 miles or so from Zion NP. Friendly staff, nice pool & spa and very clean. These folks know how to run an RV Park. Large trees throughout but didn't affect our ability to get satellite (site 51). The sites are a bit tight and close together but, if even a negative, didn't bother us one bit. Many concrete pads available here but back-ins are gravel. Liked the aluminum picnic tables. We will certainly return to this beautiful 5 star resort. We really appreciate that they give discounts to military & first responders. We also really enjoyed their beautiful & well stocked store/gift shop,! Oh, the email notifications while you are staying in the park are very helpful. Overall, loved it. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park on the Virgin River. Very nice people running the resort. Nice amenities. Only had two minor issues. Sites are close together and smoke from neighboring campsites can get a bit intense sometimes. All 'n all a nice park. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you go to Zion and arrive by 7 am the shuttle is running and you can get a parking space easily so you have your car once you are done with the shuttle the shuttle only covers a very small portion of the park if you want to go thru the tunnels and see the other side you need your car but you cannot take it where the shuttle goes but you can take it to the lodge if you are going for lunch and there is a shuttle stop there

One of our favorite places to stay. The people that work at the park are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this park to anyone going to visit Zion NP. The only negative with this park is the phone service and wifi is pretty bad. I understand they are working on getting this fixed. Tips for other Campers:

Beware: the city of Springdale which boarders the NP has installed metered parking all over the city including all along highway 9 (the main road through Springdale) all the way to the start of Rockville. The cost to park in a lot just outside the NP is $20.00. In town the meters start at $1.00 for the first hour but jumps to $3.50 an hour there after. If you spend the day in the park plan on spending $20.00 plus for parking outside of the NP parking lot.

Resort -Far From It Having traveled in many beautiful resorts this is truly the worst experience I have come across. I unfortunately paid for a month and now I see why they do not give refunds. Next to my site is a rented fifth wheel with 5 construction guys who leave sometimes at 5 in the morning and return and 1 in the morning. Why if you are a supposed Resort would you allow this. Upon speaking to the manager it appears she was not aware of # of guys or hours kept. Absolutely no fault of guys, they are working hard and trying to make a living. A warm body at desk actually told me they have no say who stays in their park and what they do. That is a first. Their sewer has not been set up with a proper connection for two weeks now and office has been made aware. Clearly they do not give a ----haha. Extreme highway noise/filthy bathrooms and showers. Actually had to show employee and she seemed as disgusted as I was. Clearly not properly cleaned for some time. Management problem not employee who cleans. Only 3 in entire park/unisex/which personally I find gross. Does not appear to be anyone enforcing any rules. Drunk people at campfire till midnight and could not call anyone due to absolutely no phone coverage if you have Verizon. Have a booster in a room with a pool table, only open till 8. Great location to try and have a conversation. Service not great even in there. Being a business owner clearly this is a owner/management issue. Traffic noise is what it is but be aware if at front end of park. Ground keepers very nice. Office needs a review in customer service. Small town, word seems to be this park does not have a good reputation. Always interesting what one hears. Only park in this area so they get away with it. This is probably the best campground near Zion National Park even though it is about 30 minutes from the park entrance. The roads to the campground are fine although a lot of road construction is going on between the campground and Zion NP. Internal campground roads are very good and sites have adequate space with small grass area, some nice trees, and a decent picnic table. FHUs worked just fine and the WIFI was not too bad. Verizon did not work here. The 24 cable channels were fine. The only disappointment was dog poop found both days in our grass area. Since we were only here two days we did not use the many amenities that the park offers. Friends we were travelling with did use the pool and said it was nice but cold. We took the shuttle that the campground offers to the Zion entrance and this worked well for us. We would camp here again. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here 4 nights to visit Zion NP. We have a Verizon phone and could not get any cell service. We had to wait until we got near the park to make a call. The setting of the campground is beautiful. We had a back-in site that backed up to the Virgin River. It was awesome! The campground had an awesome store, pool, and dog park. It is a 30 minute drive to Springdale at the entrance to the park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Make sure you have reservations! It is a popular park. We would definitely come back to this park again. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
