Verizon doesn't work in the park so no cell phone. WIFI in the park ok. Cable TV had lots of static. No satellite due to trees. Can't use rug outside. They water every day and it is muddy so in front of step its a mud hole. Lots of trees. Spaces kind of tight, short. Had to park truck in a different spot. Well kept park and clean. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Sites are level, long and have a nice amount of shade trees. Grass is well kept and the picnic tables are in perfect shape. Certainly not the cheapest place you'll ever stay but definitely one of the nicest. It's so convenient to Springdale and the park. We've been here before and will always return if we're in the area. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice RV Park with large pull-thru spaces and trees for shade, good wi-fi (Verizon doesn't work here) so used park's . Close to Zion and not far from St. George for shopping or in Hurricane. Laundry was bad. Only 4 washers and dryers, no place to park, and expensive. Went into Hurricane to do the laundry. It was great and very clean. Just don't go on Sunday - everyone was there! We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If your RV needs a bath - Ultimate Detailing works in the park. They made our RV looks like new. St. George for restaurants and shopping or in Hurricane. Springdale has shops, but is a tourist trap zoo. Zion is beautiful. Will come back and stay longer. Don't miss Kolob Canyon on the highway to Cedar City (also not far with shopping and food). Beautiful!

This campground has a bit of a split personality. Our first three nights here were at back-in site 52 against the river. Really your up against a six foot rock and soil berm and the river is somewhere in the brush behind. The site was barely big enough for our 35 foot motorhome with the car parked sideways in front. There were small trees against both sides so we could not use our awning, the site was all gravel and the hookups, for some strange reason, were up in the front of the site. We made do for three days until a new neighbor decided to take as much of our limited space as he could with his slide out and we asked to be moved. The staff could not have been more accommodating and moved us to an interior pull through site for the remainder of our weeks stay. With that our entire camping experience changed. The pull throughs are concrete and grass with adequate spacing and shade trees between sites. Even the cable worked better. No matter what site you have this is a well run campground convenient to Zion. There is no cell service for Verizon users, even the booster at the office could barely keep a call connected. WiFi had some evening outages but otherwise worked well. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For an enjoyable Zion experience go early. On our first day we barely scored a parking space at 9:30 am, the shuttle lines were 40 minutes long and the busses were packed. On our second day we arrived at 7 AM, parked close and walked right onto a half filled shuttle. We did our hiking before it was crowded and hot then had a late brunch at Oscars (highly recommended) just outside the park.

Very nice RV resort and very convenient to Zion National Park. Very nice pull through site. There were lots of kids riding bikes and razor scooters in the park. They offer shuttle rides to the park for a minimal fee. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

It is called a resort for reason. Very clean and beautiful RV park. Beautiful Virgin River runs adjacent to park. A lot of walking traffic from tent campers going to rest rooms/showers. Choose a site away from the tent camping. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very well run RV park, about 16 miles from Zion National park. Nice general store, good sized pool, hot tub only for adults. Very clean, quite. Many different sized sites, can accommodate from the tiny to largest rigs. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you go in summer make sure your site has shade in your patio area in the afternoon, otherwise you will not be able to sit outside as this part of the country is an inferno in the afternoon. Our patio site faced the afternoon sun and unfortunately was unusable in the afternoon or even early evening to cook outside or just relax due to the heat.

This is the nicest park we have stayed in to date. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The sites are incredibly clean - we watched staff rake the rocks, clean the picnic tables and mow once the site was vacated. The pool is extremely nice, dog park is great and the people staying there were very friendly. Easy drive to Zion from there and they even offer a shuttle to and from the park for $7 per person, if you don't want to take your vehicle. It's also the most expensive place we have stayed, but it was well worth it and a nice treat. Would definitely go there again. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great location for visiting Zion National Park. It's a 20 minute drive to the park and there is a free shuttle service. If you arrive after 10am in ZNP, parking will be tough so it's nice to have the shuttle option. There's a lot to do in ZNP and this is a great base. Grafton ghost town is a fun side trip. The price is high but you can see where the money is going. The grounds are immaculate and there are a lot of amenities. The laundromat was really nice with double sized washers for $2 and the game room with a pool table for $.50/game was an added bonus. Connectivity was great with ATT voice (very slow data) but non existent for Verizon. They do have a booster in the rec room if you have to make a Verizon call. The campground wifi was the best I have seen at a private RV park. Cable was good but I had to use a signal booster to get a decent picture. The staff was extremely friendly and it was easy to tell they take a lot of pride in the park. Try to get a river site to avoid road noise. Site accessibility (Very easy to navigate, wide roads) - 5 Campground location (Great location to visiting Zion National Park) - 5 Nearby amenities (Nearby grocery store and Walmart Supercenter) - 4 Site Privacy (Typical private RV park, small sites) - 3 Campground amenities (FHU, laundry onsite, rec room, private bath/showers, propane onsite) - 5 Dog friendly (Walking inside the park, small dog park) - 3 Activities (ZNP, Hiking, biking) - 5 Cost ($56/night for FHU) - 2 Staff friendliness (Very friendly) - 5 Connectivity (Great wifi, excellent ATT voice, no Verizon, cable TV) - 4 Total rating = 4.1. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here with a large group and was the first time in this area. Place is very clean, as I watched their crew clean the outside tables after someone left. They sweep and rake the area before the next check in. Check in was very quick and all the personnel here have been very pleasant to talk to for answers. Nice large office area, pool for kids and close to Zion Nat Park. If in the area, will definitely stay here again. It's very busy here during spring break and cooler times. They also have cabins for rent also. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is very close to Zion. It is a very clean park with friendly staff. It has paved streets and the pull through are concrete sites with grass between the sites and the back in sites are gravel with no grass. We asked to stay on the river and not sure if we paid extra for that but it is not what I thought. U can't see or really hear the river because there is a big wall and trees between you and the river and only a couple places you can access the river. Also we had no room for our truck so had to park up at the entrance. We have a 45' coach and the park is very tight with lots of trees. They had to trim the trees on our site for me to use my slides and I could use our satellite. The cable didn't work very well as we could only get 9 of the 25 channels and you could barely see the picture. My neighbor also had the same problem. That being said it is a very clean and well taken care of park. We would stay there again but would try to get a spot with fewer trees. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent a lot of time researching campgrounds in the area as we were driving from Chicago and only had a few days before having to turn around and drive home since my kids were on spring break. The campground has some very strict rules, which is fine, but one stated that pets were not allowed to stay in soft-sided campers. I called the park to ask about this specifically as we have a hard-sided travel trailer and the 2 canvas beds pop out. The girl I spoke to said that was fine as long as we had AC, which we do, and we booked our 4 nights. We left our beloved dog in a crate in our camper one morning for 5 hours and apparently he barked a lot. We were told that we had broken the rules having a dog in a soft-sided camper and didn't tell them that we had a dog. My reservation receipt clearly states that we have a dog and I told them that when we checked in. I was then told that the girl who took my reservation was no longer employed there and we were given the option of boarding our dog for the remaining 2 nights of our stay or receiving a refund for our remaining nights and leaving. We left. If we knew it was going to be a problem we could have folded up our beds in our camper when we left that morning and then our dog would have been in a fully hard-sided camper. I understand their rule about pets and campers but my point is that we were given bad information by an employee and we paid for is with a half day wasted moving campgrounds. We would not stay here again. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
