The resort is very well maintained and in immaculate condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's about a 20 min drive to the Zion NP Visitor Center. My site was a pull-through that was just long enough for my 41 ft Motorhome and Towed vehicle. Each site has some trees that provide needed shade since it was fairly hot (upper 90's) while I was here. The campground Wifi is very good, which was important to me since my Verizon cell signal was very poor and mostly non-existent. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Concrete pad, grass, shade. Friendly check in. VERY nice and helpful staff. Nice pool. Cable works. WiFi good enough to stream YouTube. Very close to Zion National Park. Lots of road noise-too much to sit outside. Zion River Resort is perfectly located to enjoy the area. Staff goes above and beyond to help with places to enjoy nature nearby. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Diesel in nearby Hurricane. You MUST go to Tuacahn Theater. It is outdoors in the red rocks in St. George and is spectacular! Professional. Cappelletti's in St. George a good place to eat. All four in our group loved our meal.

We stayed for two nights while visiting Zion National Park. We found the park to be very clean and well maintained with manicured grass and mature shade trees between most sites. It was suggested at check-in that we disconnect our tow vehicle before proceeding to our site and for good reason as the interior paved roads are a bit narrow however, it was doable with my 40' motor home. Cannot comment on the facilities as we did not use them but, based on the appearance of the park I would guess they are in excellent shape. Wifi was good but Verizon was not existent. Will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a good park in a great location. Everything worked as intended. My site was level and had some shade. The staff was Friendly. WiFi and cable good. The restroom, showers, pool and grounds were in as good a condition as could be expected with so many people using them. The staff did their best to maintain them. The park was crowded but festive. I would stay here again, just at a different time of the year. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was one of the best parks we have stayed in on our two month trip so far. We really enjoyed our stay. Pros: The park is so clean and well maintained it reminded us of Disneyland with its wide asphalt streets, attractive cement parking pads, large grassy areas behind or beside many of the sites, and large mature shade trees and vegetation throughout the park. There were many amenities including a pool and spa. The store was outstanding providing a very good selection of groceries, camping and RV supplies, and nice gifts. All sites have a concrete pad to park on, full hook-ups, a very nice picnic table and a fire ring nestled in an attractive graveled portion of the site. There are barbeque dinners available ranging from $10-$13.00 on Thursday-Sunday which was very good and an ice cream social ($2.50 to $3.75) on those same nights. There is also a very nice walking trail from the park into Virgin City. They have a lot of activities for kids, and you can arrange for a dog walker if you are away from the park. The Neutrals: Not all sites have grassy areas and those that do not are not nearly as nice as those that had large grassy areas for sitting out at night. We asked to be moved and the office accommodated us. We would have rated the value for the site we were first assigned (no grass, electrical panel in back) as "ok," and the site we were moved to as "excellent". The wifi is fast some of the time and very slow at other times. While Verizon service is poor in the park there is a good signal in the billiard room at the office. The Cons: The only con we can think of is really outside of the control of the park and might even be a "pro" in the winter. But while we were there, the temperature was 107 degrees at the the RV park, while the temperature at the campgrounds within Zion NP were 10 degrees cooler. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For $7.00 the park has a shuttle that takes guests to Zion National Park at 8:00 am and returns to pick guests up at 2:00 pm. Make reservations early as the shuttle is small. Also be sure to make a reservation for the barbeque dinners as they sold out every night we were there.

We paid a bit more for this park than we usually do, but it was well worth it. This may well be the best park that we have ever visited. In any case, we've given it the highest rating. It has all the amenities and is beautifully situated near Zion National Park. It was quiet and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely return to this park. Tips for other Campers:

We disconnected our travel trailer and drove through Zion NP. We were very glad to have disconnected. Although our trailer is only 19 ft long, the tight turns and steep hills would have been very difficult to negotiate. Zion provides many, many hiking opportunities and incredible views.

Woohoo! What a nice place! The entire campground is paved, except for perfectly maintained lawns for each site. The office and store remind me of something you would find at Disneyworld. The internet power, wasn't adequate, but that's no different than most RV parks. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a back-in site by the road and the road noise was not an issue. Large grassy area that was great for our picnic area and our dogs in their fencing. Staff were so friendly. Great area along the river that was shallow and sandy for our dogs to cool off. (Go upstream a bit for the sand.) We also had a lovely young girl that took our dogs for a walk and sat with them while we hiked Zion. Her parents work for the resort and you could probably get her info from front desk. Also used the shuttle service to town to catch shuttle up to Zion. We took our bikes and that was a great way to see the park without waiting at each shuttle stop in the park. Start at the top and work your way down. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A very nice RV Resort. The grounds were clean and orderly and the staff was helpful. We noticed the crew raking the spaces immediately after an RV left. The crew picked up your bag of trash when left on the roadway near your rig each day. This campground is roughly 12 miles from Springville UT and the Ranger gate at Zion National park. The other RV parks are closer in, but they are older with closer spaces and cost more. For those that aren't pulling a TOAD they have a shuttle service (fee) that takes you to the Park Service shuttle pickup point. This is our second year at this Resort We enjoyed ourselves and will return. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is an incredible park. Extremely clean in all regards. Lots were immaculate, the pool / spa area was super clean, service area impeccable. Friendly service. Quiet at night. I stayed next to the river - paid extra for it but well worth it. Highly recommended, I cannot wait to go back. I used this as I base camp to go mountain biking and exploring. 5 star park 17 miles or so from Zion NP. Friendly staff, nice pool & spa and very clean. These folks know how to run an RV Park. Large trees throughout but didn't affect our ability to get satellite (site 51). The sites are a bit tight and close together but, if even a negative, didn't bother us one bit. Many concrete pads available here but back-ins are gravel. Liked the aluminum picnic tables. We will certainly return to this beautiful 5 star resort. We really appreciate that they give discounts to military & first responders. We also really enjoyed their beautiful & well stocked store/gift shop,! Oh, the email notifications while you are staying in the park are very helpful. Overall, loved it. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

If you go to Zion and arrive by 7 am the shuttle is running and you can get a parking space easily so you have your car once you are done with the shuttle the shuttle only covers a very small portion of the park if you want to go thru the tunnels and see the other side you need your car but you cannot take it where the shuttle goes but you can take it to the lodge if you are going for lunch and there is a shuttle stop there
