Very nice campground. It is located near the interstate but road noise was hardly noticeable. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This was our first time to Vermont. The campground was easy to find by the website directions. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a large grassy site with a large tree behind it (#157). The campground has many beautiful seasonal camp sites. We did have to go buy a hose because the water hook up was far away from our site. We had a 50ft hose and we were short. It was difficult to find a store open after 5pm on a Wednesday night in the area. The water pressure was good even with it being a shared supply. There are 2 pools which looked very nice. We didn't use the bath house or the laundry. On the weekend they had a local band and played bingo. All paved roads in the campground. It is very close to the Burlington area. We would stay here again. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited the Burlington water front. We walk on the bike path on the causeway which is a very nice walk. The area is very bike friendly and pet friendly. We did the tour at Ben & Jerry Ice Cream .

We stayed here for a week. Very close to Burlington. We are full-time RVers in a 45 foot motorhome. The sites were very large, grassy and a couple of trees. We were able to get satellite with no problems. Park employees were very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely return . We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. Quite. Nice level lot. No cable or WiFi. For what they charge, it should be included. Be sure to have plenty of water hose, the spickets are at enery other site. I-89 close, but road noise didn't bother us. The reason for the overall rating of 7. The negative tho is they charge for showers, and if you have family or guest stop by for visit they charge $4.00 per person. Other than that the staff here is friendly, and helpful if needed. Been full-timing in our RV for over 16 months and this is the first private campground that we have come across with pay showers. Really? Location is pretty good near Burlington, but rates are not cheap, and the showers aren't even particularly nice. Just charge an extra buck a night and throw in the showers, it's just another nuisance for guests. No chairs at the pools too? Sites are level but pretty close together with nothing between sites. Staff wasn't too friendly. Location serves its purpose if you are looking to visit Burlington. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

A wonderful park all around. I really love their all grass campsites. We had a beautiful shade tree next to us as well as a picnic table and fire pit. Great open spaces for people to enjoy. Great playground for the kids. Pool, miniature golf, pedal carts, and plenty to do. Close to the lake and Burlington, VT. Only negative I can think of is the proximity to interstate 89. This keeps it from being an absolutely quiet, serene place like a national park would offer, but the noise isn't enough to keep me from coming back again. I highly recommend this place, especially site 146! We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 4 nights. This is a very nice, clean campground. All sites were grass. Sites were very large where I was. Electric and sewer was conveniently located. Water was setup a little different. It was located at every other site so you will need some extra hose. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cable was not available at each site. It is supposedly available at the "premium" sites, which may or may not have wifi. Wifi was available at the store. You can get 6 - 8 OTA channels. For the price, I would expect them to pick up trash at the sites, have free showers, and have dog poop bags available throughout the campground. Showers cost $0.50 for 7 minutes. The bathhouses are nothing fancy, but clean. They have the thinnest toilet paper I've ever seen. It is little on the noisy side as it is located beside the interstate. All in all, I would stay here again. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground. Lots of seasonal sites with "park models" sitting on them, but there are plenty of sites for RVs and tents. The upper sites do not have sewer and are close. The staff was pleasant. When we registered we had to sign a copy of the rules, but they were nothing out of the ordinary. There are lots of planned activities and you can check out sports equipment for bocce, tennis, basketball, miniature golf. Even though I made my reservation online they honored the Good Sam discount for our entire stay. There is cable TV in some sites. The WiFi is throughout the park, but is paid. Laundry is $1.50 for both wash and dry, 1 hour. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sites or things to do: Ben & Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Von Trapp Lodge, a Lake Champlain cruise on the Spirit of Ethan Allen III and Shelburne Museum. Be sure to try the maple creemee at Broadacres Creemee Stand in Colchester.

Great destination campground. Lots are all grass. Lower section is primarily season, while the upper level is transient. Upper level lots are pretty close with middle section being drive-through for most. Two pools, one heated smaller pool, and one larger pool. Modern and older playground on lower level. Mini golf course on site. Has small store with a variety of supplies. Creamee's available. The staff is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD. They are very focused on keeping the grounds clean and welcoming. The upper section does not have sewer but does have water/electric. They do offer a sewer "pick-up" service with 24-hour notice. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Champlain and bike ride the Causeway. Burlington and Wharf are very close. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Tour about 30 minutes. Stowe with lots of great shops. Echo, downtown Burlington, is great science center for kids.

This is a good campground located near Mallet's Bay. This is a large park with a variety of sites to choose from depending on desired characteristics. Sites are grass as is parking area. We were in a "premium" pull thru which was mostly level and plenty long with good utilities. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Showers were clean but appeared to require coins. Roads throughout the park were easy to navigate. Laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Campground store carried the usual variety of items and the staff there were friendly. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Going to Burlington? Leave early, some of the roads are poor and traffic is a nigthmare for a smallish town. Church Street in Burlington is a long pedestrian walkway lined with shops and a variety of good restaurants but the area is beginning to show it's age.

They did not have a pull through site for us, but made a back in work. Nice place except sites too close together. It got really full on the weekend, and we were glad we were leaving as the septic smell got very bad. We were on one site for two nights and then another for two more. My wife and I really enjoyed this park. The campsites were very close together though, without landscaping between them. The grounds were clean and well kept and the bathrooms were also clean. Though they had a pool and small putt-putt course, I would not consider this campground a destination campground. This campground works well for people needing a base-camp while visiting the region.
