Usually we get one of the pull thrus but none available so we had a back in on top of the hill. Luckily our sat dish was in font end of coach or the trees would have blocked it. Still a nice park just not the best site. It was level and we were pretty much alone. - peddy dick
Aug 2017 - $50.00
This was a nice campground. There were lots of amenities and it has a trail on site as well as access to a rail/trail path. We were only there one night but I think we would have liked it if we stayed longer. We were in Motorhome. - rcsauce
Jun 2016 - $46.00
This is a lovely park and it appears that many or most of the campers are seasonal. They have a miniature golf course, heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, general store, and much more. We were impressed. Like other transient campers we were parked in the open at the top of the hill near the swimming pool. It site was okay but not nearly as nice as other locations. Wonderful trails for walking. It was a very pleasant stay. - ArkansasTraveler

This was a great place to stay for our first venture out in our new Travel Trailer. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, as were the other campers. Saturday night bonfire & DJ is the best! The ground were clean and well maintained, sites were excellent and hospitality #1. Will be returning! - Pwiles
Sep 2017 - $39.00
Great small park. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 3 nignts at a site along the river, great place for morning coffee! - Joecubana
Sep 2017 - $45.00
Small park with lots of seasonal campers but the lady who runs this place keeps her fingers on it all. Plenty of room for big rigs but reservations are probably important, the place filled up every night I was there in early September. The place is immaculate, both wifi and my satellite worked well, and St. Johnsbury is an interesting stop if you're into the history of the area. Would definitely stay here again. - ldukeb

Great people, great new location. Small on size, large on personality. Tucked in the middle of nowhere. If you want an amusement park, this is not the place but it is the place that is near many attractions and just a great place to spend time. Very clean. Very large private sites. THIS is camping. - tyandow

The roads in VT leave much to be desired and the state road leading from US 2 to the campground is really rough even at 35 mph. I called at least 3 weeks before for a site and we arrived just before lunch time. There was a sign on the office door saying: "Back at 5." (and something like) Park in the center and something about a post. I had no idea what the note meant. I worked my way into a site next to the office. While we were eating lunch a couple arrived and he knocked on the door saying there was going to be a family reunion and he had reserved that site 2 weeks ago. We were on our way to the last tour of the day at Rock of Ages so I said we would be back after 5. When we returned the owner showed up saying I gave the other guy a hard time. I said why didn't you say take a site in the center of the field (numbered 1 to 4)? He gave me a blank look and said I had to move. By not placing a cone or tape on the reserved site it caused me to have to move and the other guy to move also. There was a storm threatening and it began to rain. That said the campground is very neat with grass everywhere. For a small campground there is lots of traffic coming and going. Nothing around there so I'm not sure where they are going. VZ service was spotty, Sprint not at all. Wifi was weak but worked slowly. - mrracechaser
Oct 2016 - $20.00
This is Vermont ! The GPS sent us to the State Park instead of here.
Quiet, no one was there to check in.
There weren't any level lots, We had to switch our sleeping arrangements around. Our lot probably had a 30 degree downward slope.
There were about 5 people in the whole park that night. Everyone was a permanent except for us.
The stars were beautiful! No tv service, no phone service just peace and quiet after a long drive from Ont Canada that day.
The bathrooms do not have any heat so the showers didn't appear to have been used for awhile. It was COLD in them thar hills!!!
If your going to stay for awhile bring a book. - SubVet SSBN619

Clean, quiet and very friendly helpful owner. Had some problems with our van and helped us find a dealer to help. WiFi poor unless you go to the porch of the main building. No shade, no level pads just grass to park on. - Moose and Squirrel

This is a small and well managed resort: lovely setting, lots of trees, spacious and level sites, well maintained, heated swimming pool, large and lovely playground, onsite restaurant (with good food) and a well-stocked pub, great staff, new and comfortable bathrooms. Lots of free stuff for kids of all ages: basketball (with different height hoops), horseshoes, shuffleboard, a pool table, etc. No cable and our Verizon cell phones did not work most of the time but the WiFi was almost always OK. Folks in the office are lovely and caring people. We loved the place and wish we had brought more family along. We will return! - Mom_of_Two

Quiet campground at the time we were there. Mostly seasonals that are immaculately kept. Beautiful grounds. Clean, heated pool. Very well maintained. Dog friendly. We would stay here again. - sbradley
Sep 2013 - $30.00
WIFI only available close to the office is the only reason we did not give this campground a perfect 10. Everything else was absolutely excellent. We had a large pull-through site that was easy to navigate. Every evidence that the owners really care about the place and their guests. All was neat and tidy. Utilities all worked fine. Owners were most friendly and helpful, providing great tourist info and local knowledge. About 7 miles off the thruway, the location beside the river was perfect - quiet and calm. Location was ideal for us, just north of the main tourist areas - Mt Washington, the Notches, Bretton Woods, the Conways. We would definitely return here. - User3784
Sep 2012 - $35.00
This is a delightful campground with very helpful and friendly management. It is located a few miles out of Concord and is very quiet. The sites are large, and there is grass and trees between you and your neighbor. There is gravel at each site, and it was the most level place we have been. We took a factory tour of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, visited a creamery, and bought cheese, and visited the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. We recommend this RV park highly and will go back and stay longer the next time. - rolling homeless

Sep 2011 - $18.00
Overnight stay $18 no hookups, 27 campsites, 23 lean-to shelters, 5 cabins, This is one of at least 4 campgrounds in this forest all on different lakes. 17 miles of hiking trails and a multi-use trail trail over 20 miles used for biking, walking, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. It is in the wilderness but it is beautiful in the forest. We were in a RV loop of about 5 sites and since we are only 25 feet we did not have any problems backing into the sites. The RV loop is not on the water but most of the other loops for tenting are. Check in was quick and easy and the bathrooms were clean. Off of interstate 89 this is about a 20 mile drive on some twisting roads that go up and down the Mountains. - gsnakehill

Great place for a few nights. No complaints. Owners are gracious. Site clean, everting worked. - KodiTzu
Jul 2017 - $26.00
Our favorite thing about the campground was its location. Close to downtown Littleton, hiking, waterfalls and Vermont's bike trails. Bathrooms were old, weathered and need remodelling. Coin operated showers were ridiculous; haven't seen this before at a private campground. - JESUSisLovefl
Jun 2017 - $49.00
Made a last minute decision to get away for a couple of days and was able to get in here on short notice. We found the park staff and owners extremely helpful and friendly. The park itself is very well maintained and they seem to keep up with it well enough. The park was easy to maneuver our 38 foot motorhome and toad with no problem. Very close to downtown Littleton and all it's nice shops and restaurants. Handy to hiking and recreation in Twin Mountain, Mount Washington and Bretton Woods areas. Overall a good experience and we would return. - bgbassman

Sep 2017 - $30.00
My husband and I stayed here this past September. What a wonderful campground, very well kept, you can tell the owners take pride in making it look appealing. Small campground felt more like family staying there, owners are friendly. We will be back again. WI-FI was excellent! - Campinglover81
Aug 2017 - $30.00
Okay place to overnight if you have a smaller rig. Big rigs cannot make the turn inside the campground. Luckily we had unhooked the toad before arrival. Very friendly people and great views. Level full hookup 30 amp only back in grass sites. Good WIFI, but cell service spotty. Does not accept credit cards. Road noise from Hwy. 2. Probably will stay somewhere else next time. - teepee51
Jun 2017 - $22.00
Although there was a little mix up with the site, and one guest had already unsuccessfully tried a site that had become too muddy, the campground host worked out an alternative site, and the site owners took care of the muddy site in the next day or two. Wi-fi is good at this campground (compared to others), but I wish the laundry area was a bit more tidied up. The grounds were very clean and scenic. Also, very convenient to north central Vermont cities and attractions. Some road noise at some of the sites adjacent to Hwy 2, but hey that's why ear plugs were created. Level sites with mostly shade and friendly owners. Who could ask for more? - webtrainer

Oct 2016 - $37.00
This park had heavily-potholed entry roads, traffic noise and no Wi-Fi. Our 30-amp, no sewer site delivered only 109 volts of electricity. The few spots with 50 amp and sewer were occupied by long-term customers. A bridge on the only access road had a 27,000 pound limit, a legalism frequently ignored to judge by the Class A motor homes in the park. Our satellite dish had no problems. Verizon phone/internet service was spotty. - Mtmoi
Aug 2006 - $20.00
Small campground along large stream under scattered tree canopy, some open meadow sites. Minimal road noise, very peaceful with mountain views. Convenient to Montpelier (12 miles), as well as Cabot Cheese tour, Barre granite tour, & several maple sugar shacks. Does have a 1 lane bridge w wt limit of 24,000 lbs (as best I remember), otherwise would be big rig friendly. Open April to October, phone 802-426-3232 - readontheroad
