This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. The sites are roomy, the park is very clean and well taken care of. The owner is very nice and helpful. It is a small park but in a beautiful setting. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Easy reservation process, friendly check in, well maintained campground. Very quiet at night, beautiful sunsets, manager and his team are friendly and helpful. Level, grassy spot. Out in the country, yet the Burlington airport and waterfront are only about 35 minutes away. Verizon cell and mifi worked fine. Rate reflects monthly rate. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Maple Grove for 5 days to attend a wedding near St Albans. This is a small park with about 25 sites most of them occupied by friendly seasonal guests. We were even invited to join a nearby group at their campfire our first night there. The park is very clean, well maintained, and was very quiet. All the hookups and even the WiFi worked well. OTA television was also good. Burlington, St Albans, and Kill Kare State Park are all within a 30-40 minute drive. Several of the residents noticed our bicycles on the back of our trailer and suggested we go to Burlington and ride the waterfront trails there. Sadly, the day we wanted to go the weather didn't cooperate. We plan to go back next summer and try again. Kayaks are very popular at the state park and it's about a one mile paddle to Burton Island Campground. Our only problem was getting into our site when we arrived. The roads are a little narrow for a larger trailer. You just need to be aware and make your turns a little wider. The back in was a bit of a challenge because the road curved at the site's entry point. Our 40ft 5th wheel fit fine after a couple of back & forth moves; and the cooperation of the gentleman across the road who waved us down as we approached so he could move his truck for us. The owner is a genuinely friendly person always puttering around somewhere. From what the other guests told us he has really fixed up and improved the park since he bought it. He even has a solar array that provides a good part of the electric service to the park. We plan to return next summer for a visit and some bike and kayak riding. (We'll check up on the newlyweds while we're there too.) :) We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is spic and span. Very well maintained. Lots of seasonals, very quiet. It's a small, cozy campground. Not a lot of amenities but what is here is clean, well maintained and lovely. Some of the sites are on a hill, though the sites themselves are level. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This could have been a higher score except for the fact that the roads were tough to negotiate with the fifth wheel. Had to back in up a hill on a curve with cars etc. In the way. Once in it was nice enough. The hook ups we're way in the back causing us to use two sewer hoses and two water lines. Breaker box supplied power to two sites so nresker could not be shut off. A no no. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

26' mh with toad. Quiet, Very clean, well kept park with ample restroom, shower and laundry facilities. Not a resort, so no pools, arcades, etc. More of an adult park though not advertised as such. Ideal for us. Centrally located within 20 minutes of Burlington and Lake Champlain, St. Albans and the Notch. A lot of parks and reservoirs for birdwatching, hiking, boating and kayaking nearby along with beautiful scenic drives and some excellent bike trails. The hosts were excellent, friendly and helpful and the people, even seasonals, were friendly, helpful about the area and sociable. Only minor down side was gravel road and pads. Required minor levelling. Pull thru sites and back ins, full amenities including 30/50, water, cable, wifi and sewer. Very tempted to go seasonal here next year. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a pleasant rural park about a half hour north of Burlington. We had a large, reasonably private site with electric and water plus a gray water drain. The owner is very nice but the office is only staffed part-time which makes it difficult to get questions answered. The park is on a bit of a hill but we were able to get our 40' in the back-in site without much of an effort but there weren't many sites that would have handled our rig. The roads and sites are gravel; most are shaded but ours was in the open and we could get satellite TV with no difficulty. Verizon 4G signal was good. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Ben & Jerry's factory is just south of Burlington; the tour is fun even though not all that informative.

Campground is small and located well back from a lightly traveled highway in rural northwestern Vermont. The owners live on site and were helpful. Power, water and sewer were good. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

As a long-time resident of the Burlington area, I intended to stay at this campground for a month while I attended to personal business. Due to equipment problems, I ended up staying for the entire summer. This small, seasonal campground is located well back from a lightly traveled highway in rural northwestern Vermont. The owners, live on site and are always happy to assist in any way they can. Events, such as pot-lucks, pizza parties, and fun auctions are offered on a monthly basis. A large number of the sites are occupied individuals from the local area and are utilized as their summer camps. This is a very laid-back place, situated in some gorgeous countryside. It makes an excellent base from which to explore northern and central Vermont attractions including Ben and Jerry’s, Vermont Teddy Bear, Stowe, Burlington, Montpelier, the Champlain Islands and southern Quebec, including Montreal. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

A small friendly campground that is inexpensive and clean. The staff is very friendly and the campground is very popular. We have camped here several times, but this time is was full with folks from all over the country and Canada. Still, it was quiet and peaceful and we would camp here again. The only negative, is they have pay showers. But for a quarter, you can have a nice hot shower, and it is very clean and big. We always enjoy camping at this campground. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. Small, quiet, off the beaten path. In a grove of trees, sites are kind of small, but nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. One negative is pay showers. Other than that, a great place. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Truck Camper.

Very small campground in NW Vermont. Great access to the Lake Champlain/Greater Burlington area of Vermont. Nothing exciting here, very small campground with most sites filled with long term campers. Friendly staff and campers. I will go back again. If you are looking for a quiet off the beaten path campground, this is the place. 10 minutes from I-89. We camped at Maple Grove Campground in a Truck Camper.
