Check in staff was helpful and offered one of their newer 50 amp sites that are a bit more spacious for our larger rig. We were only there two nights passing through so we were not too fussy about our site specifics. Site was easy to back into and easy to achieve level with air or hydraulics. We didn't use any amenities here or even pay attention to our mobile data coverage. Utilities seemed fine. Good location for visiting Stowe, Ben & Jerrys, Mt Mansfield. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.

Hen of the Wood in Waterbury is wonderful. If you like that type of dining then add it to your list.

Unfortunately for us, this was the worst campground I have ever visited and I have been to many. For starters, there were no activities for the weekend for the kids like there has been at every other campground we have stayed at. The mini golf course they had there was a joke: it was completely overgrown with grass, the green was all ripped up, grass growing out of the holes: completely different than what the pictures online showed. The wifi was minimal if at all. Just a complete disappointment for us: would not recommend this place to anyone with children nor will we visit here again. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was a total disappointment and not worth the money. The shuffle board did not have any points/markings on it at all and the miniature golf course had moss growing on all the greens and grass growing out of the cups. The turf was ripped up. The horse shoe pits were overgrown with grass. We were not told there was WIFI, we inquired and were pointed to the passwords on the counter. That was a waste of time as well, because the signal was so weak. The pool liner was pulling away from the sides. There is absolutely no maintenance that goes on there and they should not advertise what they do not have. My husband and I had a couple days to get away and thought there would be something to do. It seems some of the seasonal campers are happy sitting in the river in their chairs and throwing rocks!(?). We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Our only complaint is that we were charged 10.00 for our friends that came in around 6 pm and left at 7 just to say goodbye. No personal service here. No owner/ manager was on duty to discuss. Site was very well maintained. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights, the first night we were near a rude camper that had a canopy right up close to our rv and sat right outside our window talking loud till after 11:00 PM. The next day they let us move and the stay was better. The astro-turf on the mini golf was so bad you couldn't play it. We had only a few towels that we wanted to dry after 2x they were still wet. The hot tub was under lock and key. As for the name the only place you can see a mountain is when you're standing in the river. No cable but over the air was good. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.

This camp has anything and everything you need. A lodge, pool, tennis court, and much more. Super nice people and very helpful. It is conveniently located. We had our toad and they stored it for us. All sites are back ins. Nice and roomy. Owner is building more 50 amp sites. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.

Small private campground north of Stowe; tight, grass places, shared water & electricity; sewer connection; river behind campground; access to Stowe, VT activities & scenery; SR 15 is a very bad road NE out of the campground. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground located about 2 miles from town and in a quiet area. Situated right on the river which is beautiful which is Perfect for cooling off and wading. Roads are dirt but sites are grassy and level. Sites not too wide but adequate. Given a key card, for a $10 deposit, to get into the campground. The web site stated the laundry had just been updated but 2 out 4 washers were out of order. Bathrooms clean but old. Two nice pools and a hot tub for adults. Some permanent sites but kept clean. Would recommend. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.

This is just a plain great campground. The owner and his wife are just great!! Very friendly and helpful. The showers were spotless as was the laundry room. The store was fully stocked with lots of food and interesting items, including fishing poles. There is fishing just behind the campground. The only bad part that I can mention is that all the RV sites tended to be muddy. I was tracking in mud all the time; they need to put down some gravel. There are tons of activities for families and children of all ages and there is an adult lounge. The Wi-Fi was very good, but we were parked next to the router. The campground is clean and the two swimming pools were very inviting. Laundry was perfect. Our only criticism was a lot of noise from the road. Had we been parked on a lower level, noise might not have been a concern. Definitely, we would camp here again. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a wonderful little park; we had a very nice stay there. Staff took very good care of us, they seem to be very interested in making our stay enjoyable. They have a very nice well stocked store with everything that we needed. We purchased blow up tubes at their store. Allowed up to use their air compressor to pump them up. He even drove with us in our van and showed us where to put in up river then drove or van back and parked it at our site, talk about service! The park was clean and well maintained, we had no problems at all. I would highly recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

It is a very well maintained park with a great many amenities offered but we will probably not go there again. The site we were assigned was extremely tight and close to other campers and the site was probably the most out of level ground that we have come across. The road noise from Route 15 was a distraction as well as the intercom system announcing order numbers for the snack bar across the road. We did find a gem for kayaking and canoeing nearby at the Green River Reservoir which is a part of the Vermont State Parks system. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park has great access to lake and to Burlington. Sites for large units are very crowded. The security we witnessed was over the top, they refused to ID themselves when investigating a dog. Very popular on weekends, enjoy! We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Motorhome.
