Lovely little park! Beautiful pond in the center with a fountain that runs 24/7 and is lit up at night. Many sites are on the edge of the pond, but all sites see it. The sites are clean, mowed, and manicured. The grass is nice and green and the gravel is where it should be. The appearance of the park is very inviting. It is quiet and you actually have elbow room between each site. Cell service for Verizon is too weak to use. Wifi was not very good. Water was good and electric was stable. Bennington, VT is a nice area. The downtown is very quaint and "Vermont-like" as are the houses and building architecture. After you drive around a bit you see that the town is actually fairly large. It's nice that they keep the downtown area small and inviting. I would have given Pine Hollow a 10 except for the Wifi and cell service (not that cell service is their fault...). We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Fifth Wheel.

Unless you want excessive pine sap on your vintage trailer, truck, hair and shoes which took an entire day in an alcohol bath by hand to clean up, you should avoid this campground! Otherwise, it was quiet, reasonably well kept. Campground is aptly named. Definitely would not return. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Travel Trailer.

Small park in a quiet location. We enjoyed making day-trips to small towns in the southern Vermont area. The owners were friendly. We came in on a rainy day so we had to work a bit to get the trailer level, but it worked out in the end. The only problem we had at the site was that it was covered with bees, nested in the ground. They left us alone and we did the same. The internet connection was troublesome; connected okay but the bandwidth out was very very slow. 1-bar on Verizon as well. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Travel Trailer.

Nice place to stay. Our site was backed up to the pond. Most of the sites were open, not heavily wooded around them. Owners were nice and friendly and very helpful. It was way out in the away from anything. It was quiet and amongst the pine trees. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice family run park. It is small and very quiet. Sites are level. Utillities worked well, WIFI was very good. They have a pond in the center of the campground with a fountain in it. The sites are open (without trees) to get into, but plenty of shade all around. Probably the only issue I could see was the sewer is not a threaded hookup and both our site and the one next to us had toilet paper on the ground where people must've not had their hose weighted down. Other sites had threaded hookups. We stayed here 2 nights and would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is tucked away from the main highway (Hwy. 9) about 10 miles south of Bennington. It's on the small size of campgrounds, but nicely laid out around a pond with a center water spout. If you are looking for peace and quiet...this is it. Camped here in a 42 ft. class A. Sites 6,7,8 & 9 are really the only ones that could accomodate a class A. Sites are level, packed gravel. Utilities are good except the wifi is a little sketchy from time to time. If you have satellite tv, sites 6-9 are best for receiving reception, as the remainder of the campground is fairly shady. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Interesting old diner downtown (Blue B Diner) which pretty much specializes in breakfast. Main street has several eateries. There is a Walmart & grocery store north of town. Had a great stay here & would not hesitate to stay here again.

Privately owned, husband & wife team. Pleasant and thoughtful of campers. Well mowed grassy areas with shade at most campsites. 5oA or 30A sites with water and sewer available. Graveled roadways and camp site parking. Beautiful forest all around the campground. We are only here for 2 nights, wish we were staying longer. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited Bennington potters. They are having their midnight madness sale tomorrow night, 21 July, with 70% markdown on many pallet loads of pottery. We will go to the Bennington Museum with its large collection of Grandma Moses paintings. Don't know if we will get to the Robert Frost Stone House Museum, the covered bridge museum, or the Bennington Battle Monument.

Very pretty smaller campground about 3 miles from Rt 7, about 8 miles from Bennington. Very quiet and clean, FHU include cable (just 13 channels) and very decent WIFI. Good ATT cell, too.

Sites are arranged around small pond with a lighted fountain that is a nice swimming hole in warmer weather. All gravel roads and sites, level, table and fire ring. Shade varies by site. No laundry. Quiet dogs are more important than leashed dogs, a refreshing attitude. We'd come back anytime. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

We stayed here only one night, but really enjoyed this park. A very quiet small park, set up around a pond. The owner was very friendly, and helpful, even letting us setup so we could pull through an adjacent site to stay hooked up with our truck. There's even ice cream available at the office where you check in. I really like that. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park for visiting the Bennington area. Our site was spacious and the hookups were properly placed. We did not have any issues with electric and we have 3 A/C units. We will stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

This small park is well-kept overall. The facilities are dated and as the winter approaches, there were a few small spiders attempting to make nests in the shower corners. The lights and water in the showers are controlled by a timer on the wall outside the shower dressing room. A full turn gave us about 4 minutes, after which the lights and water went out. This was an inconvenience. The Wi-Fi was strong at our site; one of the best we've had in our travels. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

It was just OK. Nothing special. The sites around the 1/2 acre pond were very, very tight. The location of the shared power post meant that you were awning to awning to your neighbor. Might be ok if you were camping with family/friends, but awnings 10' from each other and fire pits 10' from each other didn't work for me. The road coming in was rough, the power voltage was rather low (110-115v) and parking for "TOAD" was less than great. The advertised cable TV was an amplified digital signal of poor quality which included 10 channels and not even all major networks. The bath house was small and dated. The dump station had a raised box about 10" off the ground making it difficult to drain your tanks if you have a low discharge fitting. The park was clean, the Wi-Fi was good, but the deficiencies in the park force me to give this place a mediocre rating. Nothing special enough here to go back to. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.

This park is a jewel. We spent several days while touring the Bennington area. Its so quiet you can here the breeze in the trees. The owners are superb and so friendly. The owner was installing a new Verizon hotspot while we were there, and while Verizon service farther from the office may have trouble connecting, you can walk over to the office and have 5 bars and speedy connection. Please don't follow your GPS but rather the directions from the owner. The roads are just fine, event he last part that is gravel. Our rate included the cost of an additional adult. Can you say quiet and peaceful? Stayed here twice now, July '13. Owners very helpful and nice, even provide oversize jack pads if you want to take a site on the lawn facing their small pond with pretty fountain. Not much to do, but enjoy the peace and quiet. Convenient to Bennington, Vt and Williamstown, MA (Summer theater, Clark Art Museum, Williams College, etc) Good Wi-Fi throughout and cell service. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Motorhome.
