We again enjoyed our trip to Winhall Brook. Weather unfortunately did not cooperate where as we had rain almost our entire stay. At the very least campground did seem to have good drainage. Some changes for this year is all the campground roads are now paved. Campground has some hills and is a mix of wooded and open sites. Grounds are well maintained. Our hookups were in good working order. Barely a signal on our Verizon cell phone, just enough to get out a text. Campground office offers a WiFi hot spot which has a nice sitting area to use your devices. Helpful camp hosts. Campground has a river where you can go swimming, tubing or relaxing on the river's edge. There is also a abandoned rail road system that goes through the campground which is now scenic trails. Kayaking is also nearby. Spot on clean bathroom/showers. Found everyone very respectful. This year black bear are present, I saw one in the campground. We enjoyed this campground and would certainly return or recommend this place to anyone. We camped at Winhall Brook COE in a Travel Trailer.

Fantastic park. Beautiful, wide sites with 30 amp electric and water. Very quiet and private despite our area being nearly full. Sites are right on a pristine river. There is a very narrow bridge with a tight turn to enter the electric campsites which left our 40 ft motorhome with about 4 inches free on each side. We had no phone service and no wifi at all. Wifi was available at the office but very slow. Office staff were great. Unbelievable park for the cost!! We camped at Winhall Brook COE in a Motorhome.

This is a just a wonderful COE campground. Campground has some hills and is a mix of wooded and open sites. Grounds are well maintained. As mentioned on previous reviews narrow bridge to the water/electric sites on the south side of the campground can be a tough crossing with the larger RV's. Our hookups were in good working. Barely a signal on our Verizon cell phone, just enough to get out a tex . Campground office offers a WiFi hot spot which has a nice sitting area to use your devices. Helpful camp hosts. Very scenic and isolated area. Staff was very friendly. Rate was using the National Park Senior Pass. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Campsites were good size. No Verizon service or OTA television stations. Limited sites with electric and water. Nice bike path, approx. 2 miles along the river. Campground is close to many site attractions, including ski resorts and small towns. When turning off of Hwy 100, stay on the left fork of the road. We had a very interesting experience with one of the locals when we mistakenly took the right fork of the road. We unknowingly stopped in a long entrance road to a private residence in order to unhook our towed vehicle from the RV so that we could turn around. We camped at Winhall Brook COE in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful campground. We had site S27, which had plenty of room. We had no issues going over the bridge pulling our 33 ft trailer but it was close! There is not much to do in the area but I recommend the Vermont Country Store. There was only one shower, which was clean and private. We camped at Winhall Brook COE in a Travel Trailer.

Outstanding Corps camping area off the beaten path. Tight turn over a narrow but sturdy bridge required. Campsites mostly grassy, some gravel. Limited numvber of electric/ water sites. Reserve early. Quiet at night. Birdlife unbelievable. AT&T service limited to two bars near the south bathmhouse. West River Bicycle Trail enters the area in two places. Playgrounds, basketball, and... beach volleyball... really? Great water flavor. Bathrooms, showers spotless. Friendly staff. If you want peace and quiet away from it all, this is the place. We would camp here again in a heartbeat. We camped at Winhall Brook COE in a Travel Trailer.
