1 Park near Blacksburg, Virginia
Jul 2015 - $42.00
Mostly for tubers and fishers, but suited us just fine because we typically don't use the facilities - just the hookups and later, the Dumping station. It was difficult to move a big RV around after using the dump station - just not enough turn radius. I wouldn't say the restrooms and shower were dirty...just looked like they were 100 years old - stained and rusted (looked pretty bad). But truly, not dirty. Nice staff and a beautiful location for a peaceful stop.
You are pretty far from the nearest grocery store or anywhere to eat. - C and K on the Road

Loved this park! It is small and really a destination park, not a place to overnight, though we did overnight there to visit friends in Blacksburg. Our site backed up to the New River. It was peaceful and lovely. Good electric and water. Dump station but no sewer hookups. The campground is also a tubing company and most people seem to come there for river activities. There are a lot of tent campers, so be advised that the air will be smoky. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, but I was unable to connect, leaving me to believe their server was down. I did get a marginal 3G signal on Verizon and a usable 1X signal for tethering my netbook so I didn't miss the Wi-Fi. The young woman in the office is delightfully friendly. The campground is quite a bit off the beaten path. - Road Princess

We paid Passport America rate. Campground is right on the New River, great for fishing and tubing. Sites are very narrow the 6 RV sites with gravel are level. Campground is very clean and well maintained. Water pressure was great, over the air TV reception is spotty due to mountains. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Train noise was not a problem, we hardly even heard it after the first night. Would stay here again!! - 20andOut
