This campground, in my opinion, looked like it was once a very nice campground. But now, it looks like it has fallen on hard times. About 60 sites, some have W/E/S. There was trash all over my site. I had to take a black plastic trash bag and filled it half way with trash.

There were two travel trailers on each side of me. Both were dirty, run down, had pieces missing and hoses, cables, trash and insulation strewn all around them. The sewer line at my site appeared to be 'full'. I should have left right then. But I didn't. The 30A connection was on a weathered log, had no front plate, no containment box, no cutoff switch and was exposed to the elements.

The one positive that I will say about this campground are that both of the employees that I dealt with were very nice, though they did not appear to agree with my observations, offer solutions nor apologize for the condition of the park. Unfortunately, I can't go back to this place nor can I recommend it to anyone else. We camped at Cedar Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

We couldn't have ask for more. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was quiet and friendly. The water was good. There is lots of shade and open space for the children and dogs. We can't wait to go back. We camped at Cedar Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp is rather rundown and seems to be populated by full-time residents. No real amenities beyond a minimal swing set. Rusty water and filthy bathhouse. However, it was quiet. We camped at Cedar Mountain Campground in a Truck Camper.

This campground is a diamond in the rough. The manager and maintenance man were both very friendly and helpful! This park was built 40+ years ago, with limited improvements but decent maintenance since. Consequently, big rig access is somewhat limited and may take some careful maneuvering. There are a few pull-through sites available, but getting a big rig into them may be a little dicey. The bathroom/shower facilities were clean but definitely show their age. There are a good number of long-termers here, but they were friendly and not rowdy. If you want to just kick back and relax, or want to visit the Culpeper area including any of the numerous wineries, this is a fine place to do it. We camped at Cedar Mountain Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is quite a distance from 29N/S. Drive is down a few country roads. It is older and is somewhat rundown, but is quiet. Most sites are clean and long enough for our 37' 5th wheel. There are quite a few fulltime sites, some seasonal. We left after only a month because they don't have 50 amp sites and kept throwing the breaker. We camped at Cedar Mountain Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
