Sites can accommodate RV's up to about 35 feet. However the road to the campground (VA678) is very narrow, as is the campground perimeter road so you have to be careful when getting there and backing into a site. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros: Very nice/friendly camp hosts, good fishing along Passage Creek (I caught 4 small fish in about 45 minutes) , lots of trails to hike, fairly new bath house with hot showers and flush toilets, refurbished old cabin as well as historic furnace site.
Cons: The water fountains were not working, the dump station was not working, no W/E/S (except for the camp host), they have a water pump within the park, very crowded on weekends and during hunting season, no cell service, no satellite service ( except for the camp host). We camped at Elizabeth Furnace in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $10.00
No water right now. Wonderful getaway campground. Love going there in a tent. Can accommodate an RV or travel trailer. Has a dump station. No electric or water at the site. We camped at Elizabeth Furnace in a Tent.
