Conveniently located for us, just 2.5 miles from friends house. Didn't use the restrooms and showers but they appeared as if they could use some refurbishment. WiFi supposedly available but my computer could never find it. Thick tree cover prevented satellite TV usage but enough over the air stations available. Would stay here again. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.
This is an OK campground for a short stay. Get good directions prior to entering campground. If you enter directly to the check in station you will not be able to proceed to your site via camp roads. There is very narrow low water bridge with a 5 ton weight limit. You need to enter by a different street and then walk .5 mile to check in. My site was very crowded to each side and I had to pull my power and water under the RV to an outlet next to another site (shared outlets). My site was dirt and I'm thankful that it did not rain. It would have quickly turned into a mud hole site, but considering price I would use again for an overnight stay. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.

Sites were mostly being used long term. We were only there for one night. Our site was dirt and had an inch or two of water on it when it rained. Never did see campground host. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.

This campground seems just a little run down overall. It contains mostly long term campers. There seems to be about 4-5 short term spaces for people not living here. The bathhouse contained several showers and more than enough sinks and stalls. It looked to be mostly clean. The roads getting here are flat and offer more than enough space even for the largest campers. The site (#5) we were on was level and well drained. Most of the other sites are flat too, but several looked to be poorly drained. I noticed water standing in several of the other sites. The campground is part of Big Bethel Recreation area. It has lots of items to do here to include fishing, boat rentals, horseshoes, paintball, picnic tables, petal boats, volley ball, row boats, and other types of ball. The ground here is sandy. The campground has plenty of trees. There are more than enough to keep you cool in the summer time. The trees were not in the way of another camper too. There was plenty of space between each camp site. The lake here is said to be good for fishing. One major item to note, the campsites only had 50 amp electric services. One does need to be affiliated with the military in order to camp here. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.

I agree with almost all of the previous reviewer's comments about this campground except for the noise. For the most part it is quiet. However, there's a lady who appears to be a long-time resident who won't control her dog. She has two dogs: one is kept inside her motorhome and the other is tied up outside 24 hrs a day, every day. This mutt barks at everything and everyone and is a constant problem. The owner does nothing about it. She lets the dog bark non-stop. Numerous campers made comments to us during our stay that the campground host refuses to take action because she is friends with the dog owner. I don't see why they tolerate it. Complaints should be made to the base commander if the host won't take action. We were only there for a short time but would definitely file a formal complaint if we were long-termers like some of the others there. This shouldn't be allowed to happen. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.

Not open to the general public. This park is limited to people with a military affiliation. The campground is small but provides a nice place to stay long-term or when passing through the area. Close to all sorts of shopping. It's associated with Langley AFB but is not physically on the base. It is part of the Bethel Recreation Area off Saunders Rd or Big Bethel Rd. Many tall trees make satellite tv reception all but impossible. Approximately 10 tv stations are available with your tv antenna, however. Very quiet during the week. Some increase in campground traffic on weekends due to proximity of the base-owned paintball field and Bethel Rec Area next door. All campground advertisements mention the dump station but fail to point out that sewer hookups are also available at each site. Langley security police patrol the c.g. several times per day. The host couple is very nice and always available via cell phone when not in the office. There are posted rules but everyone is treated like an adult and left alone to govern themselves. I have not seen or heard of any problems. Nothing fancy about this c.g. but if you're credentials permit you to stay here you'll probably be very satisfied with the inexpensive experience. $18/day or $485/mo. We camped at Bethel FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Fifth Wheel.
