This was our fourth time to stay at Greenville Farm. It is by far the best RV Park in the DC area, though somewhat rustic. I would say very nice for a working farm. We like the farm setting with cattle, fields, and a pond. It also feels more secure being at the back of the farm. We have made this our home away from home while visiting family in Arlington, and taking in some of the sights in DC. We have learned that the even numbered sites in the first 16 are the most level for our RV. This area is not heavily shaded, so we are able to use our DirecTV satellite. AT&T works fine here even though WIFI is not available. We use the Laundry every time and find it adequate but it could use a little more attention. Washers and dryers all work well. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was an OK campground but our site was not great. It's important to note that there are several sections which are vastly different. We were in the full hookup pull-through section which is just some gravel spots in an open field. The sites are very close together, they face in alternate directions (so you share your camping area with your neighbor), and are on a bit of a hill so it's pretty hard to get level front-to-back. Overall our site was not great but was OK for the few days we were there. There's another camping section further back that doesn't have full hookups, but feels more like a state park campground - heavily wooded, pretty, and natural. The long driveway from the main road to the camp office is narrow (one lane) but newly paved and smooth. We did run into an outbound car on our way in, so the car had to back up to the camp office so we could get by. The road from the office to the full hookup sites is in poor condition (narrow, uneven, and rutted) but manageable. We had good AT&T and Verizon signal, and found plenty of places to walk our dog thanks to the wooded camping area behind our area. We'd stay again in a pinch, but prefer a couple county parks in the area. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park even though all the field sites filled up. When we went for a long walk around the whole campground there where many more sites in the wooded areas but few were full this mid fall weekend. The site appeared to slope a little front to back however I had no problem leveling as I was planning to disconnect anyway. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in the area to attend a wedding about 15 to 20 miles away so we did not take advantage of all the historical sites and things to do that are undoubtedly this close to Washington, D.C. There are restaurants and gas stations close by in the area.

We have visited the GFFCG on numerous occasions with the same rating. This time it is different, and better!!!! All reviewers previous complaints were about the entrance road off Shelter Lane. It is freshly paved and a joy to pull your rig on. New picnic tables are a plus. Of even greater note, GFFCG now offers a Good Sam or a Military discount. Site S3 is a P/T. It was level, long, gravel, with FHU. No problems what so ever. We will be back again, and again. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As advertised it is on a working farm. The campground is a ways off the highway; some of the road is a one lane road. If 2 rv's met and were both towing I don't think they could pass each other. The pull thru sites are side by side so if you have neighbors you are parked door to door. Some people camped past the first section drive faster than appropriate getting to the back sites. Also the same vehicles go in and out quite frequently. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Price paid included one additional adult. Very quite and "in the woods" feel for your camping. Site was hard to level, but doable. Would stay here again if back in the area. This is a campground that is literally at the back of a working farm. The owners put it in over 50 years ago and have expanded and upgraded it several times. They are now offering a 15% discount to active and retired military as well as veterans. The access roads through the farm are quite narrow. Two RVs head on would be trouble. The main road once reaching the swimming pool and office needs a good tree trimming, but I was able to pull to the side and avoid the overhangs. They only have 21 sites up near the pool that have sewer. There are some very nice pull through sites in the electric and water section that have full shade and lots of spacing and vegetation between sites. The campground is remote, but not far from the Manassas National Battlefield Park. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

The only negative was the road in and out is narrow making it difficult to meet another vehicle - two RV's could not pass. Low hanging limbs need to be trimmed. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at Lake Fairfax, Prince William, and Bull Run RV parks over the years, but no more. This place beats them all. It has everything except wifi. We counted 26 sites for big RV's, not sure where the other 100+ sites might be. Beware of your GPS location for this park; we found it about 1000' NE of the GPS location, based on the address. There is a good sign at the entrance. You drive in a long driveway, go around the barn/garage to the right and circle around the building and park in front of the house. Then you check in, drive ahead, turning right to go between 2 houses, up a long rise to the campsites, which are lined up along the ridge of a hill. Excellent satellite TV reception! Excellent drainage! Gravel sites, which alternate as to which way you pull in. Odd-numbered sites you pull in right off the drive, even-numbered sites you drive around to the back and pull in from there. Nice people, everything worked fine. We will be back! We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Greenville Farm Family Campground is a peaceful, quiet, family-run farm and campground. We used this as our "home-base" while using the Metro to go into Washington DC. For $10 per day, the owner's son walked and fed our dog on the days we were away early to late. The sites in our section were all pull-through, gravel, and full hook-ups and between sites is grass and a picnic table. All roads to the campground are asphalt. There is a camp store, swimming pool, and laundry room; all were still closed as we were here before the season. There is a fishing pond and I walked the asphalt roads to take in views from the farm and enjoy the livestock. We throughly enjoyed our 20 days here and would definitely come again. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Our 5th stay here, as always a quiet peaceful visit on an active family farm. We love it here and it is close to our son's family and granddaughter. A lot more visitors than I remember in the past. I believe many are long term local contractors as we didn't see them until late Sunday afternoon. The road in and out is a single lane and in poor shape, otherwise this is where we like to stay. As before not many amenities, but we don't need or want them at our age. This place is clean, level, and very quiet. Portable DirecTv dome worked perfectly. We have made reservations for two weeks from now to do it again. Note: Brand new picnic tables were a major plus. Bring your fishing gear. Farm pond fishing at its best. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The road in/out is only for one vehicle at a time. We met two rvs pulling out when we were going in. Fortunately we met them where there is a barn to go around. If we met them on the road I don't think we would be able to pass each other.

Sewer sites have no trees. We chose the woods and it was great. They do have a pool and some ponds. The site was not level, but not too bad. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

What can be said - truly a working family farm and campground. We camped here because it was close and as reasonable as could be for the Northern VA area. Our stay for about 2 weeks. The area was quiet for the most part, except for Friday and Saturday nights when there was a loud band playing several hundred yards away in some type of pavilion. Didn't really bother us. In addition to cost of night there is a 13% tax added on to cost. No cable or WiFi available, however, our Sprint phones worked great. Will stay here again if in area. Camped in class C motorhome. We chose this park because it was close to DC and not very expensive; no discounts were offered, even staying a full week; located on their family farm; Nice and quiet, with lots of places to walk the dogs and many older campsites way back in the wooded area. Roads and sites were mostly gravel; sites were not very level. The pool was clean and uncrowded, but not accessible unless office/store was open, which wasn't always the times posted. We stayed in a motorhome. We camped at Greenville Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.
