A park with real potential, but I had a few issues with it. The park has no services or showers, which is fine, but they allow generator use all day long, rather than just between certain hours, which destroys the peace. If that weren't bad enough, one day there were mowers running all day, and another day, they had a massive chipper operating for hours, shredding trees. It was very noisy. The RV side of the park is cramped, and there was only one spot on my site where I could get my slide out. I noticed this problem with a number of the sites. There are some sites where you will not be able to open any slides. I did walk through the tent side of the park one day, and it was really nice. They allow camper vans and pickup campers on that side. The sites are three times as big, and extremely private in that area. There is no cell service, even by antenna, and no wifi. We camped at Blue Ridge Parkway / Otter Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground but no hook ups of any kind, no showers. Good place to camp cheap in a beautiful area. No campground activities for families. We camped at Blue Ridge Parkway / Otter Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I love this place, but you better be self contained and bring your own entertainment! No Cell phone coverage, no TV reception. Perfect! We camped at Blue Ridge Parkway / Otter Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this camp has about 45 sites for trailers and motor homes - pull-throughs and back-ins. We paid $8, including 50% off with my Golden Age pass. The park is quiet and has many shady sites. Otter Creek camp is at the lowest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile post 61. There is a small restaurant and visitor center. Being a National Park camp, there are not showers or hookups. No cell signal. However, the camp is lovely and a great place to stay a few nights to hike and enjoy the Parkway. We camped at Blue Ridge Parkway / Otter Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.
