Very convenient off 1-81 but you can hear the traffic. Nice staff Great fire pit area surrounded by swings. New trees do not much shade, but easy satellite hook up! We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Cute little park off of I-81. Perfect in and out for an overnight or short stay. Owner of the park does a good job making the store/office homey. Would stay again. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very good overnight stop. It's easy on and off the highway. The pull through spots are long and level. There's grass on both sides. There's a nicely sized, well-built dog run. Check in was efficient and easy. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Convenient off I-81, but close (400 yards) to I-81. Traffic noise is noticeable with the windows open. A newer campground located in an open field, with small trees around campsites. 50/30/20 Amp service, full hook-up. WiFi signal is strong and secure. Verizon cell service is 4 bar/4G. Cable with 25 channels. Long pull through sites suitable for large RVs. Large pool and playground. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We just needed an overnight stopover, and this was the perfect place! It's less than a mile from the interstate and very easy to get in and out of. We called in the afternoon for a late arrival and she left the receipt and instructions on the door. Very nice and efficient. We had a level pull-through with full hookups. Lots of nice grass for the dogs. The bathrooms were spotless and the wifi worked well. They have cable, but we didn't use it. We didn't look in the laundry, but the information sheet said the washers are $1.50 and the dryers are $1.00. There are a number of things to do in the area, but we were on the move so didn't try anything. There is some highway noise, but after you realize what the "hummm" is, it's no problem......and as I said it's good that it's near the highway! We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

About a mile off I-81, so there is some traffic noise from the highway, but not noticeable in the coach with a/c running. A good overnight stop when traveling north or south on 81. Easy to get to from the highway, all utilities worked great. WiFi was excellent! Gravel roads and sites with some grass. There is a very small pool and a bathhouse/laundry. Our site was long enough that we did not have to disconnect our tow vehicle, saving time in the morning. Would stop here again if passing through the area. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful campground for families with children because there is a wonderful creek that runs alongside the campground for tubing or just playing in the water. Lots of green space, small fishing pond. WiFi was bad. We have Verizon, but the phone service was almost non existent. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was a Friday over night in June 2018. VA HWY 81- Exit 269 and a mile or so on Caverns Road turning on Industrial Park Road. Check in was at their Campground Office/General Store/Snack Shop. It housed a cool assortment of items. I did see a propane refill area in front of the store. The campground roads and sites were gravel. Our site (P-3) was level; FHUs included 50 amp/30Amp services, cable connection, picnic table and a grassy area between the sites. The campground offered many amenities and was pet friendly. The campground is the first property on Industrial Park Road and Highway 81 passes parallel with the back side of the property. Our site was at the front of the campground and the highway noise was surprising low. I never saw a heavy presence of trucks or vehicles headed down Industrial Road. Shenandoah Caverns is just around the corner from the campground. We would stay here again. We camped in our 33 ft. Fifth Wheel, $46.44 with our Good Sams discount. Tips for other Campers:

The campground was a great base camp for the Mount Jackson, New Market and Luray areas. Fuel was competitively priced at the gas station inbetween the ramps. Made it incredibly easy to fill up that evening and pull out early the next morning.

Very nice campground. Owners are very friendly. Sites are able to have big rigs to pull through with no problem. The only thing is there is noise from the nearby interstate. Not enough that you could not go to sleep or be outside sitting around the campsite and not be able to hear the person next to you. You do hear the noise of the interstate, just not overpowering. If back in this area again, would come back. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

We only stayed 1 night but a very nice stopover on our way south. Very easy to get in and out of, sites were large and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were gravel and clean. The only downside was this campground is near interstate 81 and the road noise from the interstate was noticeable. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Shenandoah Valley is a regular overnight stop for us on our way south or north on I-81. The staff at check-in are always friendly and helpful, and the sites are fairly spacious and the roads are easy to navigate. The utilities are well placed, and our pull-through site was easily long enough for our coach and toad. We didn't use the free WiFi or cable, although both have work reasonably well in the past. We had good AT&T and Verizon cell service, and all sites have a good satellite view. There is some road noise from the nearby Interstate, but we didn't find it intrusive for sleeping. We will definitely be back again! We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.
