1 Park near Natural Bridge, Virginia
Oct 2015 - $46.00
Big rig friendly with level sites and easy access to I81. Only 3 miles to Natural Bridge including Safari and Caverns. Only 6 miles to Lexington - Stonewall Jackson home, Washington and Lee University and VA Military Institute. Good water pressure and hot water in showers. Good cable and slow internet. Good dog park. - Fulltimersrv

Nice park, well-maintained, neat and clean. It's built on hills so the roads are challenging. Our site was seriously unlevel side-to-side. Even with our portable extra step our steps were so high off the ground our dog couldn't get onto them and we had a hard time getting up them. Our picnic table was too slanted to use. Good cable tv and good free wifi. Very easy access from I-81 but with no noise from highway. Staff guided us to our site, then took one of our propane tanks to fill and return it. Much appreciated as it's hard to handle a full tank (74 lbs) at our age. Will stay again when in the area. - all4pets

We stayed 4 days to take in the nearby sights and didn't spend much time at the campground but it was adequate for our needs except for the roads. We like to bike and the gravel and hills we not conducive to bike riding. If you are confident moving your big rig you should be okay parking here. The sites are tight to get into but manageable if you are careful.
We had a lot of trouble trying to get our camper level side to side even though we have an auto level system. I finally did it manually but was still a degree from level.
We would probably stay again as a transit point because the campground is very close to Interstate 81. - John Borajkiewicz
