Stayed 3 nights over the weekend in a 43' motorhome. Used as base to visit local area. Exit from I-81 to CG is approximately 7 miles over a winding road, but manageable. CG is divided by main road. Check-in/office/pool, rec. hall, etc. and some sites on one side on paved roads. Our site is on the other side, over partly paved, gravel road up on the hill. Escorted to our site, U130, FHU PT, level, gravel/grass with fire ring and picnic table with views of the mountains. All utilities worked well including cable. ATT cell service was spotty at best. Many seasonal activities over the weekends geared to families. CG decorated for Halloween. Easy to visit Lexington/ VMI. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

Yogi was crying while we were there. He didn't understand why campground ownership never seems to put money back into the park for maintenance and grounds, but expanded the park for even more sites on an already overwhelmed park and staff. Interior roads in campground in upper section are a disaster - heavily rutted and sections of pavement missing. My site was spacious and not that unlevel, but my friend's next us both had really unlevel sites and one had a huge tree stump to maneuver around. Lower section sites are so unlevel, we saw rigs jacked up on their stabilizers on top of boards or whatever they could find with wheels completely off of the site. Lower section sites near the river are so tight, they look like a state fair parking lot Two other families in tent sites who were camping with us paid $65 a night to stay in tent sites where the grass has not been cut and weeds had taken over the back half. To really improve things, start with combining two sites into one. This place had a ton of empty sites on the upper section and more people would come if the sites were properly maintained, level, and the lower sites had enough space. The pool is old and small for this size campground. There needs to be another one added in the upper campground. Those sites in the field in the blazing sun would be the perfect spot for it. The inflatable water obstacle zone in the pond needs to be completely replaced. The swimming pond is disgusting and needs to be dredged. This campground needs at least two more bath houses. They are also short staffed, but I've read the owner's comments on reviews of his park and he refers to making repairs over the winter...but those reviews go back at least five years. Why on earth they chose to push further back on the upper section and open up yet more sites for seasonals (which also isn't getting mowed) is beyond me. I'm heartbroken because we've camped here for years and we won't be returning. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Travel Trailer.

The staff was very helpful and nice. It is big rig friendly ( we have a 45' 5er), but only in the open area we were in. There is an area down by the river but it would be tight. The area above us in the trees would be very tight as well-and dusty due to all the golf carts. The park "was" great at one point in its life, however, we found the place very run down and in need of some serious maintenance. Had to move the rv several times trying to get it level w/o tires coming off the ground.....ultimately unsuccessful. Didn't see one rig with all tires on the ground either! The roads and slots are very overgrown and verbiage is missing from designating signs making it challenging to know where to drive & where to park. The amenities such as pool, water slide & game room needed some much needed attention & cleaning. Most campsites are across the street and some distance from all the amenities making a golf cart rental almost a given. They know it charge accordingly, too! $$$. Didn't visit or utilize any other amenities. Overall, the location was beautiful and enjoyed a lot of quality family time, but wouldn't return. Just a FYI for those interested. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Fifth Wheel.

Started out pretty nice. But this is what we ran into a day of being here......The lake is nasty. The inflatable on the lake is deflating. The water slides are coming apart to where it is hurting our children's backs as they go down them. No signs on broken washing machines. Many of the lights were out at the bathhouse. One guy came out and told me he ended up taking his shower with a flashlight. No crosswalk signs to let drivers on main road, that goes through the campground, know that children could be crossing at any given time. Staff drives their carts faster than 5.5 miles an hour. Underage drivers are driving the golf carts when you need to be a licensed driver. Many are going the wrong way on a one way street......The trash is only picked up if it is in a tied up trash bag in the can already, they will not take the bag if there is loose trash..... they wait until it is overflowing. One night we were told we could play our music as loud as we want until 11pm (beginning of quiet time), then the next night we were told at 930 pm we needed to turn our music off. Plenty of water shoes for girls, none for boys, men, or women over a size 5. ***Will update this review if we continue to experience problems here.*** We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Travel Trailer.

This park is "ok" - pool area and splash park need updating, cleaning up - I was noticing at the fact no one check pool levels all day. With THAT many sweaty adults and possible untrained children using the bathroom in the pool ... I preferred my kids to stay on the slides and splash area. The pool looked murky by 2pm. Also, the Cafe was run by young adults who clearly had no real training in food service. To make 2 pizzas before getting to our order we were told it would take an hour. The Father's Day breakfast was ridiculously slow because management didn't think it through how to keep the food, juice, coffee, etc. properly staffed and food stocked at all times to avoid the long wait times and jamming up the cafe. The park itself was ok - it needs attention BUT they are adding a brand new section which looks very nice. Also, the map online isn't accurate - I thought I was booking a more spread out location only to get there and find campers piled up around us and those spaces were not on the park map. I don't think I'll make an effort to go back though. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

The nightly fee was well above $42! We were at the and it was very noisy. People with carts constantly and staff mowing grass, moving dead brush, etc. If you don't have kids, don't bother staying here. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Travel Trailer.

Stopped here on our way back from FL in March 2017. We were given a site in their "upper" area which is new, devoid of any foliage and looks like a storage facility. The TV cable was non functional, the WIFI was broke and the office said "well we called Comcast a week ago". They were obviously not interested in taking care of their "guests" since our neighbors agreed that it was incredible to pay that kind of money for a 30 a hookup and a water connection. I would not recommend this park to anyone and have already told my friends to avoid this thing. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park for kids with plenty of things to do. Would come back for that only. As far as sites, when checked in we went right thru great service. We were taken to our site L125 with a 27 foot hard side popup, to find somebody already in our site. We did not want to make a big deal out of it, so we moved 1 down. That site backed up to the river, with pull thru lots on the other side. We could not turn to get in our spot. Had to get people on other side to move so we could get in. The sites at the river had so many people you could not sit outside and have a conversation. At night there was a band across from our site: very loud. Johnny Blues all over the place. Too far to walk to the bath and shower house; only saw 1 for the whole park. There are areas of this camp ground that would be nice. Do your homework as far as sites. The rest of the park is nice and would come back for that. But would not camp at this site again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Travel Trailer.

We called ahead and were told we would have a reservation. When we arrived no one was at the office. Called the number on the door and was told to go ahead and park even though no written reservation had been left for us. When we left in the morning no one was in the office. A bit rustic. We didn't take advantage of the campsite entertainment facilities as we were on a schedule. Would visit again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

Hands down this is the most disgusting park I have ever stayed. Problems ranged from kids riding golf carts around (less than 13 years old) at all hours of the day/night, public urination, loud music, very unlevel sites, drunk parents walking at all hours, etc etc etc. I'm not a prude and I believe in having a good time but when we have several men start urinating on a tree right across from me and the office ... ..that was the bottom straw. My RV was on a site that would not level without adding 5 inches of boards. It was not what I expected of a nationally recognized and franchised "kid" friendly and recruited RV park. I have been here in the past and found this park to be in a nice setting. The park has some great views and the drive here is very pleasant. The full service hookups all work well and in proper working order. The staff is always nice and ready to answer all questions and assist you as necessary. I will be back. This is a destination resort for families. It has organized activities, a pool, a swim lake, water front on the James River, tube/kayak rentals. Were it not convenient to places we wanted to visit, we probably would not have stayed here as we had no use of the amenities. That stated, this is a great place for families wanting a weekend or longer retreat. The weekend was very busy with kids on bicycles and people in golf carts scooting from one area to another. We had live entertainment on Saturday evening. The band was good and finished before 10PM.

Our site we had was in the upper area, unshaded per our request (satellite). Sites and roads are gravel. Farther up, sites were well shaded and cabins are mixed in with RV sites. Pricier sites are available along the river.

Unfortunately, several of the units in the laundry were out of order, as were some of the game in the game room. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

Fastest check in in the history of rv parks. No lie we pulled up and were in our spot in less than 5 minutes. Limited camp store with little choice of groceries(no alcohol). Bathhouses need serious work, rotten floors in one location. Great place if you have young children, so much to do with so many activities. Campsite was amazing, extremely large and also level. We really had a blast. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

This place is divided into two campgrounds. One side has everything, the other side nothing. We only stayed here one night, so it was no big deal that there was nothing on our side, which was basically a field with hookups. We were on our way back from Boston to TX. No one in our party used the restrooms or showers, they were too far away. It looks like they are putting ups some buildings on the nothing side. Honestly there is an old barn and restrooms on the "nothing side". It is across the street from the main park. We went to the Natural Bridge, which is pretty amazing. Town has some grocery stores and small restaurants. This seems to be a destination park for locals. Lots of kids activities on the main side of the park. We were in site U124. We did drive through the other side of the park in our toad. There seemed to be some kind of family reunion of rebel flags and barbeque pits on Yogi Lane by the river. Lots of tents, jacked up trucks, canopy tents, etc. and open beer cans everywhere. Everyone looked like it was a party...at that point I was glad I was on the, "nothing" side. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. It is several miles from the interstate but it is a fun place, especially for children.

We were escorted to our campsite, which was gravel and it was fairly level. Satellite signal was good, Verizon signal was good.
