We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and courteous. They had a pool and game room and many activities for children. They had plenty of areas to walk our dogs. They had a nature trail that got you in the woods and not very long. Easy access getting off and on Interstate 81. A lot to see in Lexington. My only issue was the wifi was intermittent. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

When camping there there is so much to see in Lexington which is within 10 min drive. A lot of historical sites. Washington and Lee chapel has the grave of Robert E. Lee and family. Virginia Military Institute is adjacent and quite a site to see. There is a large Wal-Mart also in Lexington. If staying there you have to get lunch/dinner at the Pink Cadillac Diner which is within a half mile to the turn off to the campground. Also they have a gas station and a nearby mechanic if needed. Staff is wonderful!

Overall Rating:

This is a very easy campground for a night stop off the road on I-81. It is right at the exit, but you don't hear a lot of highway noise. We pulled in as part of a parade of folks getting off the road for the night. We've stopped here before, and were once again greeted by professional and well-organized staff. Our campsite was right next to a new looking bath house and laundry that we don't remember from before. They were also building 3 new cottages. It seems like every time we stop here there is something new and improved. Our sewer hook up was little far back, so we had to put the extension on the hose, not a big deal. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Motorhome.

Located right off I-81 exit. Fuel station located at entrance to park. Also right up the road is a great little restaurant called Pink Cadillac. If you are an Elvis Presley fan, you will like this place. We were put in the newer section below the campground. Easy in an out. Very clean and quite. Very friendly staff. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

About 11 miles South of Lexington Virginia, the Natural Bridge KOA sits just off of I-81. All the usual KOA amenities; small clean pool, two laundry rooms, bathhouses, activities and playgrounds. Friendly and efficient staff (and a lot of them!). The sites are kind of varied; We had a great site (37) in the lower "renovated" area, backed up to a forest and field, we had lots of space and privacy. Only downside to this site is the large trees blocking satellite view, although the cable channels work fine. But the rest of the lower lot is pretty much just a gravel parking lot with hookups and benches. Spaces are lumpy and close together. The upper, presumably non-renovated, area is scattered through the woods with some steep gravel hills to navigate. The sites are short and terraced so you're uphill of your front neighbor and downhill from your rear. Natural Bridge is an interesting geological formation converted to a State Park about 6 miles away. It's associated with adjacent caverns and near to a wild animal park, a zoo and a dinosaur attraction. For $8 you can take a short hike to see the Natural Bridge and George Washington's initials carved into the wall from 1750. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Stayed for two weeks at this pleasant park. There are loads of trees providing plenty of shade and a true "camp" experience. Our site was not a "premier" site but was adequate in length and width. The entire park is set on a hillside so many of the sites might be a bit of a challenge to level - ours was fine. There is a very nice pool, a small general store and a small dog park. The inside roads are TIGHT! They escort you to your site and it is a very good thing as we held our breath inching past trees on the curvy interior roads. We enjoyed our two week stay and would stay again in the future. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Visit the quaint town of Lexington just about 8 miles from the park. Nice little historic shopping district, good restaurants and Stonewall Jackson's home and grave.

Stayed here just overnight as we were passing thru on a W/E only site. Wish we had gotten in earlier cause we really liked the site and would have loved to have built a fire and hung out. The roads, except our exit road, were in good shape. The overall condition of the campground looked good. Easy to find! We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Well run KOA in very natural setting. Family run and they were ever present cleaning, checking on guests and actively managing the grounds. Sites were tight but surrounding natural environment and the staggered elevations made the sites seem more spacious and private. The campground was easy to get to from the highway but seemed a world away. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. Bathrooms and showers looked clean and modern. We were in two. For a graduation and only stayed two days. The park is currently building more cabins, and during the daylight hours, the tight roads in the campground were being used by machinery to that purpose. The sites are narrow, not at all level unless you get a premium site, and the roads are narrow, tight, with tight turns and aren't very well maintained, or well marked. This weekend was quiet loud and the quiet hours were not being enforced. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Motorhome.

We called while on the road and the staff was very helpful...we only stayed for the night on our way home and it was easy on and off I-81....the site was a gravel pull through with full hookups and was level with a small deck and picnic table...it was quiet, peaceful and quite relaxing...we would stay here again if in the area.. As detailed in other reviews, sites are close together, not all that level, not satellite friendly, NO OTA, and 46 analog cable channels. interior roads are mostly paved with tight turns for big rigs. Utilities are placed mid-site and work as expected. AT&T mifi had 2 bars, campground wifi was hit or miss slow. Overall not worth the money. Stayed here just 1 night during our trip south. Friendly and helpful staff. Sites are close together but still seem private. KOA very family-friendly and was having Halloween-themed events with lots of children in attendance. Was surprisingly quiet and we had a good night. Clean showers with good water pressure. Very old KOA with very narrow roads and very unlevel sites. Site we was in could use some gravel as it was mostly dirt. Needed two sewer hoses to hook up sewer. It appears that they are trying to make some improvement but still has a long way to go. Will not recommend or come back for the price. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Motorhome.
